On my first visit to Alaska house I was seen by Llewellyn Camilla. She made me feel very welcomed and put me at ease straight away. Nicole the Hygienist was really lovely and spoke through every process she was going to be doing. I'm quite a nervous patient so this was nice to have. She also offered me lots of advice on how to keep my gums healthy. She was very lovely and welcoming! My overall experience so far at Alaska house has been very good, everyone at the practice is so welcoming.

I have been going to this Dental Practice since I was 3 years old which is 53 years ago & I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. When Mr Carnall retired I was so worried but when his son took over it made me feel better as he is very much like his dad, very pleasant & puts your mind at ease & a good dentist.

Excellent dentistry takes place here, if you want to save any of your teeth then I suggest, if you can, pay private to get it done. It is well worth it and this dentist is excellent especially Paul Begley.

Geoff is the best dentist I’ve ever had !!! For someone petrified of the dentist , he has the most amazing bed side manner & so calming & gentle . I was never scared going to Geoff ! I have front crowns he done for me over 20 years ago still perfect! I would love to be a patient again once I’ve financially recovered from pandemic times !!! A very long overdue review for Geoff, Eve and the rest of the team. We’ve been seeing Geoff since we moved here a few years ago and hands down they the are the best Dental practice. The past year has been somewhat challenging for me personally and the care, attentiveness and advice they have provided has been simply above and beyond. I am new to the area and therefore a new patient to Ivy Cross Practice. I cannot praise the team highly enough. From my initial check up with Amer Nasr and his lovely dental assistant I was made to feel very comfortable and supported . They explained everything clearly and really looked after me. Then my visit to the hygienist Shula Gampala and her assistant were so thorough, kind and caring - explaining everything as she went along recommending ways to continue to look after my dental hygiene. Eve, the manager is really friendly, efficient and helpful. Over the years I have had a few dental practitioners and I can honestly say this team of people are well up there with the best dental experience I’ve had. It’s never fun visiting the dentist but they made it easy, friendly and even exchanged a few laughs. Thank you .

What can I say but Geoff and Eve are the best! Having had to arrange an emergency appointment and not ever been to the surgery before the care that was given to me was outstanding. Geoff is the best dentist I have ever had. He is so caring, explains everything so well and just makes you feel at ease from the time you walk into the treatment room. Eve makes you so relaxed from the moment you walk in the surgery door. In fact every member of staff there is just wonderful! You actually feel like you’ve known them all for years! If you have a fear of dentists, then please visit this surgery. You will be so glad you did and honestly you will want to go back! I’m just so sorry I’m leaving the area. I would highly recommend this dentist. As a very nervous patient I was straight away put at ease. All the staff are very friendly and attentive. I had an accident over the weekend and knocked out my front teeth, I was in a lot of pain and needed them fixed as soon as possible. The very helpful receptionist at Bupa dental care in Shaftesbury spoke to my mum and had us booked in first thing Monday morning without any issues. The dentist I saw was absolutely incredible, I was very nervous and he made me feel calm and the treatment was painless. My teeth look amazing and I’m so pleased with them. To have it done so quickly, efficiently, painlessly and with incredible customer service makes such a difference. Thank you to all the team!

Theo is the most amazing dentist I have visited, he is calm and cool and continually talking to you throughout the procedure. I had 2 teeth extracted and both time was painless, his way of giving injection also painless, I haven’t felt a thing. All you have to do is “relax and breath, I’ll do the rest “ that’s his advice and worked both time. Worth every penny and I wouldn’t go anywhere else and that’s matter of fact. Thanks Doc, see you next month to do the rest.

Corina is a really good dentist. She has always been careful to ensure my husband and I understand why some work needs doing. Her prices are low to medium 'private'. During a period of 3 years she has changed both our sets of gnashers from 'showing their age (a lot)' into very strong and stable. Her Dental nurse Aneta is very calm and capable. I am a terrible patient,absolutely terrified and have many crowns and fillings. I have been a patient here for about thirty years! But Corina and Aneta have been so kind to me. In January during a check up Corina found nodules in my neck.Corina referred me to Dorchester hospital and it was found that I had Thyroid cancer, I think Corina may have saved my life and I am eternally thankful.
