My worst nightmare the dentist, having been in the age of the ( gas torcher chair ) I’m always terrified so at the thought of a extraction, but I needn’t have worried The dentist was calm reassuring and made me feel very at ease. The tooth can out easy with no bleeding as I’m on blood thinners was a little apprehensive all over in ten minutes That was a week ago and all is good so a very big thank you to him and the practice!

After reading quite a few of the negative reviews I do feel the need to leave my own review, which I never do. I am terrified of the dentist after developing PTSD from a filling to failed unauthorized root canal 15 years ago! I was referred to the Royal Terrace for an extraction 6 months ago and honestly could not fault the staff, dentist or procedure. I had to return this morning for 2 extractions one being a wisdom tooth and one tooth with roots in to my sinus cavity. As expected I was absolutely petrified! Thank goodness I saw the same dentist I had previously seen (John I think) and I have to say he is honestly the nicest, kindest and most caring man! I have NEVER met a dentist so empathetic and genuinely caring, the whole process he talked me through, he gave me constant reassurance he could pause at any time if I was uncomfortable. He spoke the whole way through the procedure and I feel did everything he could to help me feel at ease! I wouldn't think twice about going back (however as nice as he was I'm hoping I don't have to visit again anytime soon 😂) I haven't met any other of the dentists however I will be asking for him if I ever need to return. Couldn't praise (JP) or thank him enough for his patience and understanding! Sarah

Not my usual Dental Practice but I was referred there from my usual dentist as they couldn’t do my treatment on the NHS. I was a bit nervous about having my extraction done after a bad experience a few years ago. Both the Dentist and the nurse were very professional and explained everything that would happen. I asked for sedation and was so surprised I knew nothing about the extraction at all. The reception staff were very good as well.Thank you all.

I had a nasty smashed rear top right wisdom tooth which was very close to the sinus wall. I have had this for a while and recently it started to hurt. Went to local dentist and they said this needs out but we can’t do it so went to Dr John at Royal Terrace. I felt not one bit of pain genuinely!! The man is a true gentleman the procedure was as quick as it could be and I left with no pain and an experience that actual I was dreading but was completely and utterly fine. I cannot thank you enough Dr John you are truly an incredible dentist
