From my first contact with Becky to job finished by Pete and Shaun the service couldn’t be better. I was provided with a quote, what deposit was required and why this was needed. Becky provided a start date and the guys turned up on time. Both really polite..I was asked prior to them leaving if all had been completed as I hoped. Will use again.

A truly outstanding job done super cleanly, on time and budget by Shaun and Peter. They diligently and carefully removed all old grotty pointing and then repointed our large porcelain patio and levelled up one or two slabs that had become a bit wobbly over time. One day the patio work was rained off so these super guys agreed to trim our very significant hedges and take away all waste/cuttings. Again they did a wonderful job, paying particular attention to clearing up afterwards, of extra importance to us as the access to our garden is via the garage and kitchen so awkward and tight to say the least! When they had finished there was literally no sign of their presence in either kitchen or garage! We were amazed at how clean they were! Can’t recommend them highly enough and we will be us using them again as needed. Thank you SWG!

The guys from S W Gardening did a fantastic job working all day on our sadly neglected garden. Total transformation. They took all the garden waste away too. Steve provided a very good quotation for the removal of hedging and the replacement of fence panels and posts. The workmanship carried out by his trusted workforce was done with care over a few days when the weather was atrocious. Our driveway fence and gate needed replacing due to age and repeated battering from the recent storms. Marc provided a competitive quote and went on to complete the job quickly, efficiently and to a very high standard. Friendly, approachable and professional, Marc also went above and beyond, organising a skip at short notice and clearing our rotten decking from the side of the house. They were also very considerate of our property and even went to the effort of safely securing a large unexpected delivery in our absence. Josh and Sam arrived promptly and immediately set to work trimming various bushes and shrubs. They are a great team and are very amenable and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they are conscientious and meticulous in whatever they do, particularly with their clearing up afterwards. Great to have around and our two dogs fell in love with them! Highly recommended and we would definitely use Ben Gooding Gardens again.

Delighted with work done by Ben and his team of Sam, Josh and Ruben which included, inter alia, adding extra 18ins of gravel boards to bottom of back fence to keep out badgers and moles and then add membrane & mulch to suppress weeds; sanding down and oiling garden table, chairs and recliners and removing two very large and unsightly shrubs with more work booked in for next week. Always arrive on time, work hard and efficiently all day with minimal breaks thru any weather and tidy up afterwards. Great advice from Ben who has impressed me with his knowledge, paperwork and installing a great esprit de corps amongst his team who are a joy to have around. Highly recommended and delighted with myself for finding them !!

Really excellent experience with Ben, Josh & Sam bringing my untamed garden back under control for the winter. A lot of hedge-trimming and shaping needed, together with fruit trees to be smartly pruned, lawn mowing and general clearing out of dead stuff and weeding. Working very efficiently over a couple of days, they transformed the garden back to how it should have been and it's now a pleasure to look at again. The guys were all very pleasant to have around, hard-working, no fuss, and communication both on the day and in the lead up to the visit was also excellent which was appreciated. I've no hesitation in recommending this company.

The jungle that was my garden was cleared today by Adam and his lad. He was really busy but knew I was waiting so as soon as a cancellation came in he let me know. Cleared everything away after and I now have a beautiful space to do something amazing with. The white bin and white metal sign on the floor have slow worms under them so he carefully checked and worked round them. Canot recommended him enough..

Adam replaced a feather edge fence for us. It is on a slope with a couple of changes of angle thrown in - not the easiest job! He worked hard with only short breaks, overcoming any problems as he went. He even dealt calmly and tactfully with a 'difficult neighbour situation '. We are very pleased with our new fence. Adam is a pleasant, polite and professional young man and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

My family spent a wonderful afternoon wandering the gardens. The children played and really enjoyed exploring the woodland, walking round the lake and looking in the old church. My wife and I loved the beautiful scenery and the very well kept gardens and enjoyed the whole experience. Additionally, we met several members of staff (gardeners, etc) who were incredibly friendly and informative and really added to our positive experience. Cannot recommend highly enough.

What an unexpectedly delightful experience! We were staying near the gardens for Easter and thought we'd pop by for a quick visit. Little did we realise what a treat lay in store for us. It really was like having a private tour of a National Trust property - incredible gardens to roam around with our two kids (lakes, woodlands, formal gardens and more), the astonishingly atmospheric church (which is a real taste of Italy hidden in rural Dorset), diverse birdlife, and the chance to chat about the property with two of the lovely, accessible, friendly and knowledgeable gardeners. We couldn't recommend a visit to Chideock Manor Gardens highly enough. Thank you, Dierdre, Heather and Phil - we feel very spoilt indeed!

We found this place by chance and what a fantastic find it was. After speaking with the owner on the phone to see if we could visit we were then met by a lovely gardener who explained where we could go. Connected to the manor is a small church which is also worth visiting and provides a great backdrop to parts of the garden. Everywhere you turn there is something of interest, and there is a lovely sense of this being a lived in place and not just a show piece. This is a place worth visiting at any time of the year and there are plenty of spots to enjoy a flask or a picnic!
