Dan & Iona, as a team, are a dedicated, hard working and meticulous couple about their work ethos, which actually makes it easier to understand their dedication in what they do. It all gets 100% effort in whatever they are doing and whatever the weather! From start to finish, it was a pleasure when they arrived each day and just cracked on with the task. Another point I have to raise is that Dan looks and works at the task as though it is his own garden so you'll know it's as good as you will expect it to be. Dan was very helpful with discussing our design for a complete garden makeover, suggesting little changes which improved it enormously. He arrived when he said he would each day and worked to a very high standard. We are extremely pleased with the finished result, we never thought our garden could look this good! James Dean Garden Maintenance can be highly recommended for all aspects of garden maintenace. On moving to a house with a very neglected garden, our family greatly appreciated their skill in renovating whole areas, including building raised beds, planting good quality shrubs and plants. Since then regular maintenance by professional, knowledgeable, friendly staff, familiar with our garden, continue to keep it all in excellent condition.

We've used Steve Cheese for some years now, and I think our garden looks great (even if I do say so myself!). Last year, we had a BIG family birthday / garden party and Steve helped us get the garden into tip-top shape for that. Steve also cuts the hedges every year and does a great job. Steve's knowledge of plants has been a godsend. If you want the best, I can heartily recommend Steven for a regular service.

An excellent gardener with a star qualities. His work ethic and personable nature are head and shoulders above the rest. Stephen is a qualified horticulturalist with exceptional plant knowledge and experience. Many times we have gone to him for advice. Garden maintenance is just the start as he will help you in the greenhouse/nursery, choosing the right plants for your garden and produce fresh veg.

Stephen has a first class work ethic, no corners cut, everything completed to an exceptionally high standard. I’d have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone, a real pleasure.

We have found Steve very helpful in completely managing our garden for us. He "just gets on with it" and offers great advice on what plants to put where and when to do it. He always lets us know what day and at what time he will be coming and replies promptly to any queries we may raise. His work ethic is amazing, but will gratefully accept a cup of builders tea, if offered. All in all, we are totally pleased with everything he has done for us and would confidentially recommend him to anyone looking for a gardener.

A reliable team of capable, knowledgeable and experienced gardeners who quickly developed a sympathetic understanding of our cottage garden and who can be relied upon to undertake its restoration and upkeep in a sensitive manner . We discuss our ideas together and we have confidence in them to work unsupervised as they did recently while we enjoyed a long holiday.. It was a pleasure to return home.....

Could do with more seating to rest. Very pretty with the tulips. There's a buggy you can use to go up the steep hill, to get to the top, and down if u wish.

A really genuine group of people who are keen to get things right for the customer and go the extra mile.
