Excellent service from Matt who did a great job throughout, from designing and planting our garden in Poole, to arranging the landscape contractor. Matt provided a professional service and is highly recommended. We are delighted with our beautiful new garden.

We engaged the Garden Room Studio as our Landscape Designer on our new build in Lilliput. The service we have received since working with Matt and the team has been excellent. We are really happy with the design that they come up with, it is far better than we ever dreamt of particularly given the garden was far from an easy garden to design as there are lots of different levels. They oversaw the project from start to completion and their communication throughout the process has been excellent. They have gone way above and beyond what we expected and I can not recommend them highly enough.

We have used Garden Room Studio for a large, urban garden project and have never known anyone to nail the brief so well after a single site visit. Their ideas, vision and clear presentation have given us and our contractors a strong direction on how to make best use of this space. We’re looking forward to working with them on other projects.

Excellent service from Matt at The Garden Room. Matt sourced and supplied trees to comply with a tree protection order and met with the local tree officer to make sure everyone was happy. Would highly recommend The Garden Room for any garden/landscaping related work.

They listened to what we wanted, made helpful suggestions to achieve it at the most economical cost. They worked tidily and with consideration for the neighbours, coping with the awkward access to site. The finished patio is beyond our expectations, and was completed to time and on budget. DDB was contacted in July 2023 concerning damage to an area of 45mm Paving spanning frontage of property having become uneven due roots of a conifer. Inspection, advice, and expert opinion was requested and obtained when on 10/07/2023 he assessed the damage, produced a detailed specification including 3 Options, Landscape Digitally signed Agreement and Payment Schedule. Option2 was selected, Legal Documentation signed and work commenced on 26/08/2023, completing in a week. From our first meeting it was clear Peter was a professional dedicated to completing tasks in highest order. He was personally in touch daily or by email. Designed and landscaped a small garden for our new build, including laying a new patio. Really happy with the company from start to finish. Jordan took time to get to know what we wanted and revised out designs a number of times, all the while sticking to our agreed budget. The guys that came out to do the ground work were quick and professional, even in very wet weather. They were happy to come back and sort a few minor issues with the patio with no fuss and have made a point of making sure we are really happy with our new garden. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

Pete, Jordan, and their team worked with our charity, Access Dorset, to design, build and plant a stunning, award winning, Sensory Garden. They took on board the ideas of our disabled members and involved them where possible in the work. They helped reduce the cost for the charity through their generosity and that of their suppliers. The garden is now enjoyed by hundreds of disabled and older people every year. The Sensory Garden won Gold and Overall Class Winner in the Environmentally Friendly Spaces Category of Bournemouth in Bloom 2018. Pete supports our charity on an ongoing basis, supplying us with recycled timber for our woodwork vocational training project. James Dean Garden Maintenance can be highly recommended for all aspects of garden maintenace. On moving to a house with a very neglected garden, our family greatly appreciated their skill in renovating whole areas, including building raised beds, planting good quality shrubs and plants. Since then regular maintenance by professional, knowledgeable, friendly staff, familiar with our garden, continue to keep it all in excellent condition.

Have just started to use Theo to look after our garden and have to say he is the best we have had. After our initial telephone call he came next day to review the work and his quotation came that evening and following our acceptance he fitted us in the next week. He comes every two weeks, arrives on time and is willing to do any special gardening jobs that we ask, followed by his regular maintenance and when he is finished leaves the garden tidy and removes all the rubbish. We could ask for nothing better and hope that, unlike previous gardeners, continues to supports us in the future .

Dominic and his team were amazing they dealt with the removal of a tricky tree trying to make its way through a drain avoiding a serious problem for me , plus cutting back some very high overhanging Laurel branches and general hedge cutting extremely efficiently and left the garden very tidy . We contacted Alumhurst Garden Services to remove 2 overhanging trees obstructing a public footpath from our business. Dominic was fantastic, he understood the urgency of our situation, he and his team came to remove the trees the same day despite the awful rain and wind. They were very efficient and professional. Would highly recommend!!!

From my first contact with Becky to job finished by Pete and Shaun the service couldn’t be better. I was provided with a quote, what deposit was required and why this was needed. Becky provided a start date and the guys turned up on time. Both really polite..I was asked prior to them leaving if all had been completed as I hoped. Will use again.

Came to do a basic tidy of Front and back garden. And WOW what a great job they did , if this the level of just a basic tidy up. I would hate to think how good a full on tidy up be. Will definitely use SW gardening again. Thanks Gary
