Raf and Chris did a bang-on job with my new cabinet! Proper quality work, solid as owt, and it fits the space perfect. They’re sound blokes, listened to what I wanted, and cracked on with no fuss. Rafa and team worked wonders on my kitchen. They replaced an old work surface with solid oak, fitted a wall cupboard and created a bespoke solution to cover my unsightly boiler pipes. Good communication throughout, adaptable and competitively priced. They took care to keep things clean and tidy too, putting down dust overs and hoovering after finishing the job. I am delighted with the finish and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Rafa did a good job fitting a dado rail and skirting for me. He was able to do the work at short notice and to a good standard. He managed my expectations well and kept me informed with progress. I will be contacting him again in future for more work.

Paul did a fabulous job building this understairs storage for us plus building a cupboard elsewhere. He was responsive to texts, turned up on time and very reasonably priced. A very clean and tidy job. So good in fact, our neighbours have now poached him! 😄

Paul fitted 8 new cottage style doors in our Victorian Semi to replace the original 140 year old pine ones that were really showing their age The transformation is amazing. The doors he supplied were already coated in a nice primed finish, and actually were exactly the same colour as our choice of paint, which was Creme Del la Creme in the French Chic range ,so we only had to paint the sides he individually planed to fit . Working with Mario has been fantastic! He did engineered wood flooring and bespoke shelving for us. The quality of the work has been exceptional and he was also ready to solve any difficulties along the way, as for example levelling the floor, repair broken steps etc. Moreover, the pricings were all in line with the quote and very reasonable.

We have just had our kitchen completely refurbished by Mario and we couldn’t be happier! The whole service has been so professional and personal, right from giving us advice and ideas in the design stage to suggestions on materials and some design adjustments on the way to make our kitchen work better for us. Manufactured and fitted top quality wooden windows and hardware for us, installed to a high standard and all according to listed building stipulations. Produced initial general drawings for apraisal and then fully detailed drawings for inclusion in our listed building consent application. During installation, everyone on site was talkative, polite, approachable, good natured and knowledgeable - punctual, working quickly but with care. The overall project manager always responded promptly to messages and calls, was pro-active and defined a project timeline that was adhered to. Highly recommended.

Hello Richard, we write to say a huge thank you to you and everyone else at Nicholson Carpentry and Joinery for the Accoya French Door set you so beautifully manufactured and installed for us. We knew the job in hand would not be straightforward due to distorted brickwork and wonky levels resulting from historic subsidence so we needed to choose carefully well established and highly regarded craftsmen who we were confident could overcome issues arising. We made a great choice! Everything ran like clockwork from survey to completion in a truly professional manner. The old doors and frame were removed efficiently without fuss or mess, the new door set was fitted with upmost care and precision and all making good, finishing and tidying up was done likewise. We had delayed and saved for many years to replace our old doors and we are absolutely over the moon with our new ones. They are a joy to use and look at. Based on previous reviews we chose Bal to quote for some work on our porch that required attention. The whole process was really slick, from the first visit to discuss the scope of works through to the job itself. We can't recommend Bal enough..... we're already compiling a list of jobs we need him to do and will be hiring him again in the very near future. Don't hesitate give him a call :-)

Bal has been absolutely fantastic in dealing with several jobs around our house. Jobs included new ceiling in porch with light, putting up 2 new ceilings, new flat roof and some new lights, fixing and connecting a new dishwasher, fixing a sticky lounge door amongst others and all at a reasonable price. He is very honest, reliable and left each job clean and spotless. I would have no hesitation in recommending Bal to my friends and family. I only wish I had made contact with him sooner. You will not be disappointed.
