I got an old interior door replaced with a fire door and I can confirm that Andrew is a definite 5 star carpenter who really knows what he’s doing. But. I also got him to paint the door and this was truthfully only so so. Whilst not actually bad I now realise for carpentry get a carpenter and for painting get a painter. Also there was a mix up with him fitting the wrong coat hook. Now he sorted this all out at his own expense but it was a very simple matter and I was surprised there was even a hiccup. So my advice is be very clear on what precisely you want done at the outset. So as a carpenter I would recommend Andrew without reservation. Also just before Xmas I got Andrew to fix up the wooden frame around our front door. Again I thought he did a very good job. Check out the pictures.
