Myself and my partner won on a bespoke wedding competition last month. Now we are all booked in to the beautiful haycock manor in Peterborough for our wedding next year! The discount and saving we have received on our big day through bespoke weddings competition has made it possible for us to have our big day the way we always wanted to without the massive bill. I also would highly recommend Maria Napper one wedding coordinator from bespoke wedding as she is so lovely, friendly and already has helped me so much and really listened to what I want but with the budget I have and she’s made it all possible couldn’t thank her enough. Looking forward to our big day and recommend entering the competition you never know your luck 🍀

Maria called me on Valentines day with the news that we had won a wedding venue after my partner and I had entered a competition. She has been helpful and supportive, providing us with the information required for the next steps. Anything support we need is offered, we just need to email or call. We are excited to continue the planning experience with her and Bespoke!

Bespoke Weddings have really helped us out, our wedding would have never have happened so soon without them and the competition. From the initial meeting with Maria she has been very supportive with our situation and helpful with us going ahead with the wedding in 6 months time which is very encouraging. We've never felt any pressure to go ahead with the competition or other options given but it's nice they support local companies. I would recommend anyone to apply to the competitions as it could save you a huge amount and get you married sooner than you ever expected and change your life!

We beyond grateful for Bespoke Weddings. I couldn't believe it when I received the phone call to let us know that we had won their competition of free wedding venue. Without them our wedding would not be happening so soon and we can't wait. Our Bespoke Wedding Planner Jade has been simply amazing! She is always at the end of the phone if we have any questions and is being very supportive. I would highly recommend Bespoke Weddings.

Our experience so far has been great with Bespoke and can’t thank our wedding planner Nicole enough for her support. We never thought we’d hear anything back when entering the competition and then receiving a call to say we had won our venue costs for a venue of our dreams was amazing. We get married late 2026 but thanks to the quick responses from Nicole we have managed to secure the majority of our vendors through the competition at some amazing prices which has taken away so much stress so we can focus on the more sentimental details. Thank you so much to Nicole and the team at Bespoke.

David at Bliss was brilliant from start to finish. We had the all day package and photo booth for our wedding. I was a little dubious about a photo booth, but it was absolutely brilliant and all of our guests loved it. The equipment and props were top notch and it added an extra special something to the evening. David himself is a character. He’s funny, friendly, confident and very organised. We felt in complete safe hands with him and nothing was too much trouble. He was in regular contact in the run up to our wedding and we felt everything would run smoothly with his involvement. David also took a lot of photos and videos which was brilliant, as we got lots back from him before having to wait for the final professional shots. I 100% recommend David and the team at Bliss - thank you so much!

Dave was the best DJ we could’ve asked for! He went out of his way to make sure we had our Wedding reception the way we wanted it and kept the party going perfectly! Massively appreciate him taking videos of us all dancing as it was brilliant looking at them the next day to reflect on the night before! 100% recommend for any event not just a wedding!

David, Angela and Robert have been amazing from start to finish! A brilliant app to plan your wedding music and the team kept in contact throughout the whole planning process! Robert was our DJ for the night and although our wedding party wasn't huge, everyone had a great time and danced the night away! Great selection of music that catered for everyone. A huge bonus when Robert also sent over some beautiful photos and videos of the night which is so lovely as we were so busy enjoying ourselves we didn't take any of our own photos! Thanks guys, you were ace!!

Dave was great! He knew our wedding venue (the west mill) really well, which meant everything was organised really smoothly. The app used to plan our playlist was easy to use. Dave is so enthusiastic and genuinely loves his job which I think was one of the reasons our dance floor was full from start to finish!

Lovely cafe. Food was served with a smile and was beautiful. Friendly atmosphere and nicely priced. Large enough carpark but is gravel so if on 2 wheels be careful but manageable. Highly recommend and will be back.

We had our daughter’s wedding on the 01/02/25. This was our first wedding we were completely inexperienced and apprehensive. However, Saleem from start to finish was professional, knowledgeable, caring and most all made us feel at ease. He was very attentive, listened, suggested and guided, nothing was trouble for he had a solution every situation. On the day, every expect of requirement were not only met but exceeded beyond our expectations. The venue, decor, cleanliness, waiters and most importantly the food were outstanding. I recently had my nikah at Occasions Events Venue, and it was an exceptional experience. Saleem, the event manager, demonstrated excellent communication throughout, ensuring every detail was taken care of. It's one of the nicest and most serene venues I've been so far in years. The owner is business minded. I say this because a beautiful garden is attached to the Hall where good pictures can be taken and canapés can be served before the hall is opened for the guests. There is parking just opposite the hall and also on the side roads. The toilets are sparkling clean and you have a reception area as well. I can only give this venue a 5 star.

Working with Pav was the best thing we did. We booked our wedding pre-covid and had to downscale to an intimate wedding of 25. Pav was so calm and as we went through the journey, he listened and took on board our vision but also understood us. We cannot recommend them enough! Pav was absolutely brilliant. Pav, everything you and your team did on that day was spectacular. From the centrepieces to the signs outside, right upto the top table (without being biased, it was the best one I've ever seen 😅), was absolutely amazing. It gave the venue such a wonderful look. Booking Vermillion for our wedding week was the best decision. From the planning all the way through to the big days, everything ran smoothly. Pav helped our visions come to life, and delivered even more than we could’ve expected. Our friends and family were blown away by the decor, and we heard compliments throughout the week. What a fab place for lunch. Obviously, they can be very busy. Fortunately we went for a late lunch around 1:30-1:45 and got seated in the conservatory which had a nice view out into the garden and included a big heater to keep the place warm. The staff were lovely and very helpful giving clear guidance on how to order and what's on the menu. The decaf tea was well presented, a good quantity and hot. The quiche meals were of very generous portions, with a good measure of mixed salad. There was a wide selection of cakes. The cornflake tart caught my eye and when it came it was a generous portion. I can recommend it! We moved into the main seating area after a short time as it was quite cool in the conservatory for us. The big heater couldn’t quite cope with the outside sliding doors opening for customers coming and going. The main seating area was a better area to sit, and was a good bit warmer. It was good to see the staff set to cleaning the tables and floors after customers had left. There are a couple of toilets on the ground floor, both clean and tidy with good facilities. The couple of things that would have made our experience even better was. 1. Fix the sliding outside door and stop it being left open or sliding open. On a cold day it is noticeable. 2. Both of our quiche meals were only just warm. They would have been much nicer a lot hotter. Overall, the staff were excellent, the food very good and the place was clean and tidy. Prices were a little more then we would have paid else where. There appears to be two car parks. We parked in the one off the main road and ended walking along it just around the corner to find the closer carpark and the entrance. We will definitely go again, perhaps when the weather improves or ask for a seat inside the main café.

Went for lunch. The cafe was busy but managed to get a table for 3 of us. Lovely views infront of the glass floor to ceiling windows of the surrounding area. Prices are quite high, however this outweighed by the quality and selection of the food. I had quiche of the day which came with a plate full off salad and pasta with a door wedge size of quiche. Well worth the money! Good selection of drinks available with a promot service. The selection of cakes are definitely tempting as well. Will definitely pay another visit l.

Great outdoor seating area plus nice cosy inside restaurant area. Would recommend a visit, pricing reasonable. Cowshed as you can see, we very much enjoyed our visit with the family. Very nice cafe right on the canal, a welcome stop after a beautiful walk by the canal. Really lovely staff. We had drinks and the homemade cakes which were very nice. All the food I saw comes out looked very good. There are toilets here which were nice and clean.

Lovely little cafe with outdoor seating. Great value, home made food. We popped in for a Sunday light lunch and enjoyed the breakfast bap as well as the soup and toastie. The freshly brewed coffee was very good too. And it's a lovely location!

Lovely little gem of place just on the path of a canal and run by a small attentive team and seems rather popular . Not vast on the inside but does have a covered outdoor section to the side, really feels cosy surrounded by various interesting canal related items which can be purchased . The menu is straightforward consisting of breakfast / lunch type items which is freshly prepared and the quality is really good along with various takeaway bits near the counter. Just loved it and was really wonderful .

Lovely little place. The cheese toasty I ordered for my son was exceptional value and the salad looked like it had just been cut there and then, there was no wilting at all. Plenty of parking too, I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area and peckish. My only little feedback would be to cut the sausage in half so the customer doesn't have to.

So I had to come and try some of the Vietnamese Fusion Dishes on offer that were "Made to order by our very own Vietnamese chef with fresh ingredients from traditional family recipes". Vietnamese Noodle Salad, Chicken- 10.5 5/5 ⭐ It is a light and refreshing vermicelli rice noodle salad in a tangy Vietnamese chilli & garlic dressing with fresh veg. It is filling and the dressing has a very nice flavour and spice blend. Banh Mi - 10.5 3/5 ⭐ Asian-style baguette with sliced chicken breast, chilli sauce, cucumber, coriander, spring onions and a carrot & radish kimchi slaw, in a crunchy baguette. Nothing too special just a baguette with a different sauce added but still a very filling meal, so a nice meal if you wanted to try something a little different. Fresh Vietnamese chicken Spring Rolls - 10.5 5/5⭐ Homemade rice paper rolls, packed with light vermicelli noodles, carrots, cucumber spring onion and lettuce.
