Altho I live in Sawley I travel to Derby to get my hair done and have done for the past 5 or so years, I found this salon in Derbion called class act, it was a walk in service so ideal for me who decides things on the spur of the moment, anyway they moved out of Derbion just outside near the Ram and were rebranded Abby Sillah hair as Abby is now the owner. They are around average price for a cut and blow dry £25-26 and are now appointment and walk ins. The two stylist I use are Karon or Simon if Karon is away as they both cut my hair how I like it.

Received a wonderful trim and tidy up on Wednesday from the chatty and lovely Simon. It was an amazing conversation we had and my hair looks great now. As we say in Yiddish, no more 'schwitzing' or sweating now. 🤣😅

I use abby silah to get my nails done and can not fault spider... However I found Nicki when she worked at top cut (opposite the old corning pasty shop in the derbion) when she told me she was moving there i was pleased.. I cannot fault Nicki, all I doo is sit in nickis chair and she knows exactly how much I need cutting off my hair and for this exact reason I will never go to anyone else.

Absolutely amazing salon! Everyone is so professional and lovely, really great atmosphere where you can relax and enjoy the service. My hairdresser Nikki never disappoints, she's absolutely brilliant with short haircuts! Would highly reccomend x

Had my hair cut by Paulette a few times now and I've been so happy with the results everytime. She has given me a ton of great advice and my hair hasn't been in such good condition for years! She has a super cute salon in her garden and is always really accommodating. I highly recommend Hair by Paulette, so glad I found her!

I highly recommend Hair by Paulette. Great little salon, really relaxing place to visit and Paulette is a great hairdresser. She listens to what you want and I always leave very satisfied. To top it off, Paulette is a lovely person - what more can you ask for.

Fantastic! Paulette has looked after my hair for years now. She comes to our house to cut my husband’s hair and cut and colour mine. I highly recommend Paulette , she listens well and gives advice when asked. She makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Paulette is a friend, not just my hairdresser.

I started tuition here recently because I was struggling at maths, I've been to many other tuition places, and this has to be the best one I've been to by far, because as soon as I started tuition here my grades skyrocketed and i moved up 2 sets in school. Mrs o brien is very nice and respectful, she is an amazing tutor. (She is very experienced and very friendly) She has helped me alot. I would definitely 100% recommend this tuition to anyone struggling in science or maths. Prices are very fair and cheap aswell. -Year 11 secondary school student

Thomas was at the end of the first term in year 11, studying for his GCSE’s before we commenced his additional support in maths using Mrs O’Brien. At that stage Thomas was struggling to make sense of some of his maths topics and we were hoping the extra support would secure a grade 4 (and were hopeful on a good day a grade 5 would be achievable.) Thomas immediately clicked with Mrs O’Brien and found some of her alternative methods in areas of maths much simpler than he had been previously taught. After weekly lessons that we increased to two towards his exams Thomas was much more confident in maths by the time he sat his GCSE’s. Mrs O’Brien was fully converse with the curriculum and proficient in Sparx which was the schools maths learning platform. Thomas has recently received his result and obtain a grade 7! We are obviously delighted and can’t thank Mrs O’Brien enough for everything she has done. (PS: in the final weeks before the exams were also used Mrs O’Brien for some additional support in various chemistry topics which again Thomas achieved a grade 7). Fully recommend Mrs O’Brien and her services.

Mrs.O’Brien offers a huge amount of help with maths tutoring for more than just maths.So offering great tutoring at all levels in maths, and maths content in physics, chemistry and Business studies.She has a very approachable manner and makes the students feel at ease very quickly. She creates an easy atmosphere so students feel relaxed to ask questions, without feeling self conscious.She can also flex to add additional sessions in holidays or for when a maths test is coming at school-This is greatly appreciated ! Classy and calm from the moment I walked in the front door. I was met with warmth and kindness but what made the biggest impression on me was Danielle’s immense knowledge and patience with it. I walked in clueless with a hair style that was tired and boring- and came out feeling like a brand new, authentically ME, confident woman! Do not hesitate to book an appointment at the Danielle Sarah salon! I am already looking forward to my next visit. Both Danielle and Ella are absolutely wonderful. Had the best experience! Went in this morning after not having my hair cut for around two years 😬 she made me feel very welcome and comfortable. She asked about lifestyle before cutting and took into consideration that I had just had a baby so made sure that the cut I was getting would be maintainable with two small children. It was such a beautiful salon, amazing decor! Would definitely recommend Danielle to anyone!

My first visit to this salon today for a curly cut and colour with Elysia. What a gorgeous and incredibly friendly salon. Everyone was so lovely and clearly work together as an amazing team. Staff were very professional, but also super friendly and easy to talk to. The whole process was wonderful, I had my hair dyed here and paid a great price for it. 🙂 My child has been receiving tuition in English and Maths with The Tutor Centre since September 2023. Months later, it's an absolute joy to see my daughter feeling confident when doing her Maths, a subject she once dreaded. She is learning so much from the tutor when it comes to her Narrative/Descriptive writing aswell, I am so grateful to the tutor for this. My daughter finds the lessons fun, engaging and differentiated to suit her ability. She thoroughly enjoys her lessons and looks forward to seeing the other students that are part of the class. My daughter's school assessment scores this Spring compared to last Autumn show a huge improvement. This is reassuring. A massive thank to the tutor who works really hard every Sunday to help build my child's confidence. Thank you 🙂!

I'm really grateful to The Tutor Centre for the incredible turnaround they've achieved with my son's education since starting in Year 8 when he was struggling in Maths, English, and Science. He was in low sets at school and had no confidence. But thanks to the dedication and hard work of The Tutor Centre, he has been jumping sets and has advanced to the top sets for Year 11. He's now being entered for higher GCSE tiers in Maths and Triple Science and his confidence has seen a massive boost. I am now enrolling my year 4 son to get him a head start in education and not waiting until year 8 :-). His time at the Tutor Centre has also seen a total change in mindset from not being interested in academic achievement to a highly motivated student with aspirations to achieve the highest GCSE grades across all subjects, not just the three he is being tutored in at The Tutor Centre. I cannot recommend the Tutor Centre enough.

Absolutely delighted with my first CACI eye revive treatment today with Diane. Diane offers such a professional and friendly service and explains every step of the treatment so I felt extremely relaxed that my sensitive skin was in the best hands. The treatments I booked were a Mother's Day treat for myself and my mum. Mulberry worked hard to fit us in for the times we could be there, which was so appreciated and really added to our relaxed day. The salon was so calming and all the staff so attentive and amenable. We were there for around 2 hours and felt so welcomed. The treatments were so relaxing and expertly done - we will be booking again soon and would highly recommend to others. I was really impressed when visiting Mulberry Beauty for the first time. Everyone was really welcoming and friendly. It didn't feel clinical in anyway. Becky gave me a brilliant back, shoulder and neck massage. It was the best massage I'd had for sometime. She asked for my preferences on the firmness of the massage which was really refreshing. I didn't feel rushed at all. I'll definitely be back. Thanks Becky.
