First time in here and won't be the last, ordered 2 traditional breakfast's along with drinks and have to say it's the best breakfast from a cafe we have ever had, place nicely decorated and clean, staff polite and prices very reasonable. Definitely coming back

Coffee with a smile, a very good antidote to a wet and cold day. Finally managed to venture into the recently opened Morgan's Coffee Shop. The decor is warm and welcoming, with its green panelled walls adorned with images of coffee leaving you in no doubt as to what is on offer. The seating is soft sofas and arm chairs in grey. We enjoyed a cheese and onion toasted sandwich, which was made fresh and very tasty, all washed down with mugs of coffee. There is a range of treats available in the form of cakes and pastries, which looked tempting. The staff/owners were welcoming polite and provided service with a smile. A welcome addition to the high street.

Just finished a gorgeous Full English & Pancakes dripping in Syrup. Absolutely 10/10. I come here every other week when I fancy a Full English & Star Cafe never fails to satisfy. Staff are lovely & food is delish. They even stayed open for us to finish! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Delicious food for a really good price and really nice staff. The one in the picture, it's a full English, called star special and it's the best breakfast I've ever had! Everything it's fresh and so nice! I totally recommend it!

First visit, on a Saturday, not overly busy so fast service of food. So food, had a breakfast that was served hot, NOT greasy, food cooked to perfection for me, partner asked for well cooked sausage and bacon, got what he ordered, so much enjoyed. Lovely coffee to go with a lovely breakfast, included in price with toast as well. Staff on the ball and lovely and polite, great customer service. Kitchen area can be seen from dining area, very clean. Toilet facilities are always a good indication and this was clean and accessible.

Came here for the first time today with my partner food was incredible everything was fresh and tasty the full English breakfast was flavourful and non greasy service was quick and staff are friendly and professional the decor is traditional and the restaurant is clean and well kept throughout very happy with my experience and will be back to eat here again

It was my 1st time in here since it opened I got a breakfast this morning to be fair it was a decent breakfast it wasn't bad at all, the only problem was the bacon over cooked and not the tastiest .. value for money yes and no depends on the what you order , will I go back again yes because I want to try something else like salads or chilli con carne ,jacket spud. (value) I think it's good value to be honest kids meals £4:70 including drink you could feed a family of 4 for £20 and its good value for o.a.p. and at the moment you need places like this around good food good value and affordable for everyone and what you get is good so you can not complain and the food is decent I found the staff friendly and polite , service was pretty quick and it was very clean and tidy inside

Myself and a few family members recently attended the Crown who were holding a Q&A function for the ex Aston Villa football manager, Brian Little. Included with the ticket price was a curry (chicken tikka masala, Thai or chicken madras) and a pint of beer that was served before the event. Overall, it was a very good night, the curry was tasty, and the speaker was good. Highly recommended.

Loved this place. A proper cafe is rare these days but this place is exactly that. The food was great. The price was great. I've paid double the price for half the food at half the quality. The staff clearly took pride in what they do and were very friendly. The cafe it self had nice little decorations, a small touch that worked perfectly. Will defiantly be going again. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a quality meal

Amazing breakfast and great service.

Remains one of the best cafes I've been too, every time Google asks me ( which is a lot ) it's always the same answer. This is a proper cafe. Not a fancy 7 floor complex that serves food I can't even pronounce, it's a cafe. Great food. Friendly staff. The type of place your went too when you was a small child going on a day out with your nan which for me, was some of the best experiences of my life so far. Highly reccomend. Couldn't ask for more . Also perfect price for quality food.

I recently visited the Hungry Horse restaurant and had a delightful experience. I ordered the burger and steak combo, and I was thoroughly impressed with both the quality and portion size. The meal was not only delicious but also well-priced, offering excellent value for the money. The burger was juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection, and paired wonderfully with the succulent steak. The portions were generous, ensuring I left feeling fully satisfied. The only downside to my visit was the wait time to order drinks, which took about 15 minutes. This delay was a bit frustrating, but the friendly staff and the quality of the food more than made up for it. Overall, I would highly recommend the Hungry Horse for anyone looking for a great meal at a reasonable price. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait when it comes to ordering drinks.

Went out for a meal with my family. Great staff, food and atmosphere. Would definitely be back and would 100% recommend! Tracey who brought our food out was great.

Tasty pub food served promptly and quickly after ordering. No table service so either had to order through the app or at the bar, the service there was slow but we had vouchers so couldn't use the app. Drinks later ordered through the app came quickly. We ordered starters and main meals but I forgot to take photos of starters, we were all pleased with our choices. Tables and menus could have been a little cleaner but overall we all enjoyed our meal there. Fair sized car park and big beer garden with small play area for young children. Place was busy and popular. We'd happily eat there again.

Good service. For the time it’s been open the decor is looking tired and worn, otherwise nice coffee still pricey. Cutlery stained appears unclean, probably machine washed and not polished October 2022 refurbished through store, cleaner better feel and surprisingly makes the place larger

Manager Laura is amazing. Always goes above and beyond for customers and is really friendly. She always delivers a great customer experience and allows service dogs in and even gives them a fuss, how kind. Best place in Brownhills.

Very clean tidy, accommodating and welcoming pub!! Food was so delicious- thank you staff that served me on Tuesday , was served straight away, pint came with a clover ☘️, food came out quick and was perfect 👍👍👌👌

My family enjoyed the food at Smithy's Forge today. We had nachos and garlic bread for starters. For the mains we ordered the mixed grill, tandoori chicken and rice, sausage and mash and fish and chips. For puddings we ordered the ice cream sundaes and chocolate brownie with ice cream. All of the meals tasted good and the food/ drinks were well priced. The bar staff and servers were also really friendly. I recommend giving them a try!

Came in with some family, a lovely girl on the bar convinced me to upgrade my steak and I’m glad I did, it was absolutely perfect, very juicy and tender. My other half had a fish and chips, enjoyed every bite and said the batter was very crisp. Good for price, friendly service and a cheeky bit of banter while waiting for my pint was thoroughly enjoyed! Will be coming again.
