My hubby and I have been 3/4 times and each time we enjoy it even more if that’s even possible. 1st time we stopped in for coffee and a cake and each time after we enjoyed a fantastic dinner. Everything homemade. So many delicious dessert to choose from. The food is 10/10 each dish made with live and you can taste it. If you’re looking for an excellent homemade meal with a family feel environment you must try. We love it here. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone

I've been going to Vaz ever since I moved to Birmingham, and it's just an amazing place, fantastic food, good variety of dishes that will make sure no one would ever leave hungry or disappointed. Food is great and it's my local go-to Portuguese food place. Beyond the food, it's also a centre for a warm community and it's a welcoming and friendly place. Igor and Carla and the team are always absolute stars.

Great food, nice staff, nice atmosphere, good prices. I really liked this place, conveniently located in the centre of Bearwood. Good variety in the menu, so you can taste a lot of different typical dishes from Portugal. Will definitely come back. OBRIGADO!

This evening, I had a good meal at Vaz Restaurant, a first for me as I'd not been to a Portuguese restaurant before. Pleasant decor and gentle music which gave the place a nice ambience. Although I dined alone, I suspect it would be ideal for a romantic meal. There were several vegetarian options to choose from. The service was attentive, caring and helpful. There are some books, pictures to look at and a colouring book for children. My main course was a Portuguese curry with rice which was filling and very tasty. However, my favourite just had to be the lime cheesecake which came in a generous portion! It was a nice way to round off an already much enjoyed gastromic experience! I'd definitely go again and would be glad to take a friend there.

I had a francesinha and bacalhau a bras (obviously I didn’t eat this alone)😂 The food was amazing, tastes so good and the portions were more than enough. Highly recommended this place. I am not Portuguese so this is an honest opinion
