This is the kinda food that really hits, I wasn't sure what I wanted but after I'd eaten here I realised this was what I wanted. Loads of flavour and fresh. Can't wait to come back.
Minimalist menu but everything is just delicious, beignets or waffles, the caramel sauce and toppings …everything goes together perfectly. Limited space inside makes it cosy and familiar.
The chicken is absolutely amazing, the waffles are light and fluffy, and the fudge sauce and chantilly cream go really well together! The waiters are very nice - they served me apple juice in a wine glass. You should definitely go there.
We visited for breakfast on Saturday, as I have heard lots of good things about this place. I had a chicken and waffle with a fruit juice. The food was good but not amazing, and it's quite expensive for what it is. I would also note the tables are high and have stools, if you have a young child I would bring an attachable chair. The service was fine, they weren't particularly welcoming. The place gets busy, so if you want a seat without waiting arrive at opening. Overall I did enjoy the breakfast, but don't think it lived up to the hype.
I checked out this cozy café after seeing awesome reviews on "More Than a Crumble" Instagram page, and it totally lived up to the hype! I'm a BIG waffle fan, so I was excited to try it with my husband, and we loved it. The place is cute and had a variety of books. We had waffles with chicken, bacon, and fresh fruit, plus beignets with maple syrup. The waffles were incredibly fluffy—like they melted in my mouth! The chicken was crispy, the bacon was generous, and the fruit was fresh. The maple syrup had a unique taste & look, quite different from the usual stuff. Can’t wait to go back and try more stuff from the menu. Big thanks to the chef and staff for an amazing meal!
