What a lovely gem of a place, a really traditional cafe / diner. Superb range of top quality breakfasts and lunches, with even more on the specials menu. Don't worry if you are full and don't have room for dessert, they offer desserts to take away. Perfection 👌

Had a fantastic afternoon tea yesterday. We had a disabled lady with us, so requested a table downstairs which we were given. In our group of 8 we have 2 vegetarians and 2 people that are gluten free and all were catered for. Our drinks orders were taken promptly and they kept coming. The food came out very quickly and everything was beautiful. We were all grateful for boxes to take our leftovers home. I have eaten here many times and the food never disappoints! Thanks again ladies!

We spent a lovely afternoon for our Mums 70th Birthday today. Fantastic service, delicious food and very friendly staff. They kept us stocked up with tea and we went through a lot! One of the children was asking for more ham sandwiches and we didn't have any left and a lovely lady overheard and brought more ham sandwiches. When we asked for the bill our Mum was presented with some more lovely cakes with a candle! Thank you very much for making our Mums day special, she often struggles going out but she really enjoyed herself. You are all amazing and we will recommend you to everyone!

Booked afternoon tea for 14 people, a mix of traditional, vegan and vegetarian. The table was beautifully presented, food delicious and plentiful and the service was excellent, friendly but professional. Also great responses to my questions beforehand and easy to book. All in all a great location, fantastic food and lovely atmosphere. Thank you for making our hen party so special. Highly recommend.

Love love love this hidden gem! Polish coffee shop. Amazing friendly service, they can't do enough for you, beautiful shop with exquisite decor, very wide section of beautiful tasty cakes,polish bread, breakfasts, sandwiches drinks and the best coffee. You can park right behind it in the Co-op car park too. It's open every day too. Their Facebook page is awesome.

Lovely, warm and friendly cafe. We popped in for lunch whilst visiting the area. The frittata I ordered wasn't available so the very kind lady in the kitchen rustled me up the same ingredients in scrambled egg instead. Very reasonable prices too. 4 days later and back in the same area: the cafe has relocated to larger premises, but it's still cosy, warm and friendly. The cakes were a must-try this time and we also bought some lovely fresh sourdough bread. Plus there are complementary sanitary wear and nappies in the toilet; how thoughtful 🥰

I ordered a birthday cake and the result far surpassed my expectations-amazing flavour and even better decoration. Anna replied to my messages straight away and gave really great advice on the fillings, flavour etc. Everyone who tried the cake thought it was delicious. Will absolutely be back.

Stopped by for afternoon tea. The scone was nice (with the usual clotted cream). The tea was very nice. Prices were very reasonable. Service was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. A nice choice of delicious looking cakes on offer as well. A little gift shop section inside the tea room also.

Visited for lunch after a long afternoon of hiking Mam Tor and surroundings. Lovely relaxed atmosphere with great background music, generous sandwich portion (I had tuna mayo), vegan chocolate pecan brownie was delicious and loved their tea (pear and ginger). Paid about £15 for a pot of tea, brownie and sandwich which was fair. You’d be silly to not visit this place if you’re in the area.

Really lovely tearoom, the food was delicious. Lovely home made scones, tomato pesto and mozzarella panini was very tasty with delicious home made coleslaw. I had the Black Forrest hot chocolate which was one of the nicest hot chocolates I've ever tasted. Friendly staff, very clean. Would definitely recommend.

This morning, we discovered a true hidden gem—a charming, family-run café that serves the most amazing breakfast. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm and cozy atmosphere, and the friendly staff made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious! The creamy mushrooms were rich and flavorful, the sausage was perfectly cooked, and even the tomatoes—something I usually avoid—were so tasty that I enjoyed every bite. We cleared our plates completely, which says it all! To top it off, the caramel latte, finished with real cream, was pure indulgence. The service was just as wonderful as the food. Our server was incredibly sweet, polite, and always had a big smile on her face, making the experience even more special. I honestly can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a meal this much. If you’re looking for a beautiful little spot with outstanding food and a friendly, welcoming vibe, this place is a must-visit!

Really lovely staff! Very welcoming. Food was lovely and took away a cheesecake which was so lovely. To do a vegan brownie was amazing for my daughter! Her words were it’s the best brownie I’ve ever tasted! Will 100% be going back.

Today was the first time to visit Cafe At The Corner, and it won't be the last. The service was perfect, all served with happy and helpful staff. The latte was delicious 😋. I had poached eggs on toast, and my hubby had a cooked breakfast. Everything was tasty, good quality, and steaming hot. Perfect sums up the food, staff, and service.

First time we have visited. Food was really good. The atmosphere was great. Chatted to the owner and everyone was really friendly. Will be back with the kids and the rest of the bike lot next time.

Brilliant breakfast. Great value and quality. The staff are extremely friendly and obliging. I have driven passed many times and thought I will have to try the cafe I so wish I had. I absolutely love this cafe. Not only is the food really good for its price, the atmosphere is so unique and so much fun to be around. Been coming here as tradition for three years now and there’s really nothing like it. I even commute from Sheffield specifically to come here just because it’s so special. Honestly the best part about this place, (other than its incredible decor that must have spent a lifetime to accumulate!!) is the people. So friendly, and so welcoming. I always love coming in and chatting with these guys. Thank you 💫

WOW!! Just wow, this is how a roadside cafe should be, I was gob smacked as I realised what was around me, especially the table with legs .... Friendly staff, great food, well priced. I will return soon, My only gripe would be it's CASH ONLY 😏

We visited to enjoy a beekeeping experience which was on site. The bees were fab and hands on ...the cafe was quirky and the cake delicious.

Rag n Bone is a hidden gem in Sheffield which I discovered by chance driving past. Coffee and cakes as well as sandwiches and panini are awesome and the owners are friendly giving it a family feeling. Lots of quirky items to buy such as pictures, jewellery and antiques. There is a spacious outside and lovely relaxing atmosphere in the summer. Sometimes the chicken roam around. Also bees in hives are kept on the top floor and a beekeeping course is available. The coffee is from Forgemasters and top quality. I’ve abandoned Costa for this place and I always support the bespoke and independent coffee shops. Thanks I’m a regular and now bring my family and friends

Such a pleasant hidden gem! Each time I am in the Meadowhall I come there for a coffee. There is a nice short walk through the park from NEXT. Very friendly staff, nice food and drinks, very interesting space with lots to explore! And you may meet chickens 👀

I've visited quite a few times with friends and family, and we always enjoy the visit! There are so many games to choose from, the staff are really helpful and knowledgeable (which I always find impressive!) in case you are unsure how to play or need recommendations, and the food is always really tasty! I had the mezze plate the last two times I've visited. Highly recommend!

Really great venue. The games are well looked after. There's a great choice on the menu, same in the cake display with good flagging of dietary requirements. Loved the taster menus of games to help decide if you're a bit overwhelmed with choice. If you don't know what to play check them out on the website. I had a takeaway of cake. Banana choc cake and it was delicious . Many tables were full with people playing games and enjoying food. What a great place. I will come back to explore more with my kids. And there is a restroom also.

An amazing board game café with lovely, informative staff and a great menu - possibly the best milkshake I've ever had! Reasonably priced, super clean and well-organised. A joy to visit time and time again.

Have been going to Thorpe Coffee for a while now and have had a variety of different foods, I tend to rotate now between an English Breakfast and a Turkish breakfast, both excellent. I have also also had a chicken kebab wrap which was also excellent. Rose is always welcoming to us and they also allow dogs in which really helps, Rose also makes a fuss of our dog and gives him a treat so naturally he loves coming with us. Really handy having something of such high quality locally that we can take our dog in too.

Visited for the first time today. Had an amazing breakfast, freshly cooked, piping hot and very tasty. The owners are friendly and very welcoming. Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

All day breakfast was excellent. Good coffee too. Friendly staff who took the time to chat to me and my companion. Really relaxed atmosphere with cushions for the seats. Great value for money too. Lucky to have come across this place

A well proportioned cafe plenty of outside dining space and good parking. Offers a wide range of tasty looking breakfasts with vegetarian options. The first time I have been offered a raspberry jam croissant, but it was quite nice. I would imagine this place is very busy during tourist season. Prices seem reasonable for the quality offered. Staff are .pleasant

Popped in with the missus for a spot of lunch, which quickly escalated into a dining delight! I chose the bagels with smoked salmon, and she chose poached eggs on toast with crushed avocado. Both meals were absolutely perfect, great textures, balance of flavours, and the portions were both generous and very reasonably priced. Touches like a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, and a seeded bagel, rather than a plain one, just shows the level of care and attention put into their food. Throw in some fresh spinach and eggs cooked to perfection, what more could you want?Cake! That’s what!! Even though we were both full, we simply couldn’t leave without a couple of the cakes on display, they simply looked amazing. And they were! Thoroughly recommend these lovely people, the fantastic food, great location, and one more bonus…they allow dogs, which meant we got a bit of a doggo fix too!! Brilliant 👍

Lovely garden at the back. Toilets (clean) outside are down some steps. Accessible path to garden. Friendly staff. Lovely cheese scones - ask for them to be warmed. Dog friendly. UPDATE: probably the best halloumi & falafel baguette in the area!
