Fab café and gift shop. Had the large fry up, portion size was really good and very reasonable prices. A really tasty breakfast! They have some lovely unusual gifts as well so nice to browse whilst waiting for my food. Will definitely be back.
Lovely cafe/shop. We had a full English breakfast here and it was delicious. The staff were so friendly. Will definitely call in again when in the location. PS. We even bought a painting at the shop with proceeds to the Air Ambulance.
A popular little cafe in a nice village, very pleasant surroundings, good service and good food available - plenty of choice throughout the day from breakfasts to light snacks, teas, coffees, cake etc. You can even book in for Sunday lunch too! Happily recommend
Ticknall has a secret! However I apologise to those in the know, because this is a secret it would be criminal to keep to myself. Taking a phrase from a famous advert 'probably the best.....' breakfast in the world! Scoff and Shop is easy to drive past but my advice is don't. I've just eaten one of the best breakfasts I've ever had.... 2 eggs, 2 rashers of perfectly cooked back bacon (nice & thick), 2 butchers style sausages (very tasty), a very flavoursome thick slice of black pudding, beans, mushrooms & 2 slices of fried bread. All was perfectly cooked, served in a lovely café by very friendly staff for £7.95. They do a smaller version, but honestly in this case, bigger is definitely better. You pay for what you get & put simply you get quality, so it's definitely worth a visit or 3. I'm back.... What the Flipping heck is FH on about! Still great... Look for yourself at the pic!.... Polite & friendly service, hot, tasty and quality!
Just the best! Kind staff and a stunning chilled out place for a brew and the BEST bacon and sausage cob! Thank you so much. A must for anyone in the area! Lovely local produce and some stunning local art for sale. In the area? - make this a must-visit! Thank you again.
