Really good. Food to the left side of the pub bar to the right. Very cosy and busy staff - they handled all the patrons well. Went for the sharing platter and wasn't disappointed at all. Curry inspired nibbles and was enough to fill us after venturing up to thors cave. Plenty parking to the front and the food came out piping.

The service from Becky was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we had the best experience possible. Becky went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Now, onto the food—simply outstanding! Every dish was clearly made with care, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The portions were generous, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. We ordered the beef burger with chips and never eaten beef that tasty and after asking found out it was locally sourced. What I say about the doughnut and ice cream for dessert. I will not forget it, absolutely delicious! To top it all off, the cozy setting, and the friendly locals made for the perfect pub experience. We stayed at the Devonshire arms for one night as we had an early walk the next day. The room exceeded our expectations! Everything we needed and more. well decorated and luxurious. The pub is lovely in an amazing location. Food was great pub food. They couldn’t be more welcoming. We will be back!

Wow. This is a beautiful pub serving really delicious food. We loved it so much came 2 nights in a row. There was so much choice...everyone was really friendly and our dogs were made to feel welcome. 100%recommend.

We visited yesterday for food and we were immediately blown away by how kind, friendly and helpful the staff were. They were really dog friendly despite him being quite muddy from a local walk. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back again, thank you
