4 of us stopped for a quick lunch half way through a demanding 12 mile Peak walk . The food was fresh, tasty, using local produce, with a good choice and delivered to our table quickly. The staff were excellent, the cafe was completely full and it was good value. Great stop over!

Yesterday we shared a special birthday celebration at the tea rooms. The food and service were brilliant, the atmosphere and decor lovely and the catering for various dietary needs and 4 hungry children was impeccable. From booking to consumption the team were great to deal with and I would heartily recommend the tea rooms to anyone whether for a casual drop in or an organised tea party.

This was our first time visiting here and will not be our last, beautiful 30 minute drive out from Cheadle area and this place was amazing, food was brilliant and well priced, staff were friendly and the little shop, although a few items were a little expensive in there, like young childrens colouring books at £5.99! it was still a lovely place to be. They also served Gluten free, so I would be happy to go back with my son, who has Celiac, highly recommend a visit to here and a drive around the surrounding areas which are also beautiful. The only thing I would suggest, is making a large option for drinks, as the regular option at the minute, is a little small. But I'd be nit picking if I thought that was a negative, compared to how amazing the food was. Thank you

Best place in Hartington to get a quick drink, breakfast, lunch, sweet snack or do a little shopping. Previously only getting some products and gifts from farm shop, this time we stopped for breakfast (full English) and coffee. Mocha was really nice and served very quickly. We had t wait for breakfast but it wasn't more than 15 minutes. The breakfast was very tasty and the portion was definitely too big for me. The menu is decent, including the menu for kids, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Great cake display on the counter and very good prices (next time I'll try some of the cake). The staff was friendly and helpful. The place is converted farm, with lots of space. The shop is situated in front, the cafe in the back with plenty of tables. Local artists pictures are on the walls (for sale) which gives more character, the place is clean. What's also worth mentioning is that the farm shop won some awards and they source ingredients from local farms.
