“What a lovely place! I've been a few times over the last couple of weeks, and the service, the food, the smiles, everything here is lovely! Whether i order a teacake or one of the lovely Quiche meals, the service is top-notch! By adding a bit of fruit to the side salad (slices of grape, strawberry, pineapple and olive) the basic salad is transformed! As for the Fruit Crumbles with ice cream for dessert, 10 out of 10 for 10!”

“The quintessential country pub. Always busy despite not serving food. Plenty of parking space front and rear. A good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. A great social atmosphere and fantastic, friendly staff. A roaring fire in the winter and a large outdoor area with plenty of tables for the summer make it a pub for all seasons. They even hold a classic car night twice a month in the spring and summer where you can look around a myriad of interesting vehicles, including tractors!”

“When we arrived the table was not yet ready, we were told to get a drink at the bar. The bar is small so it did get quite full, we had 2 wheelchairs in the party and it was a little awkward to move around. Lovely with the log burner. All of the building was great for the accessability. The table was a good size to accomidate the wheelchairs. The table was located under the heater unit so there was a constent hot blow on one half of the table. This did make 2 guests a little uncomfortable. The food was lovely we had the pork & beef. The veg was a good selection with about 8 veg meaning there was something for everyone. Some of the veg were under cooked. The portion sizes were huge and meat was lovely. Could have done with a stake knife for the pink beef. Onto puddings, again the portions were huge I had the banoffee pudding and it was very nice. The only downside was the burnt toffee on the bananas and there were a few to many dried bananas however this is one of the nicest puddings I have had. Over all the meal was lovely and I will be returning.”

Qoozies
6 Steeplegate, Chesterfield S40 1SA, UK

“First time visiting Qoozies. My daughter loved the design of the restaurant. Now wants a leaf / flower wall in her bedroom. My first choice for breakfast wasn't available but had the feta omelette instead which was nice. Daughters choice of pancake was lovely so was her shake. The coffee was just right and in a decent sized mug. Reasonably priced compared to other places in Chesterfield. Definitely coming back.”
