“Gail hosted a wonderful baby shower for us and was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing, cakes to die for and we were kept topped up with drinks. The scotch egg is the best any of us have had too. There was cute little extras we didn’t even expect like the popcorn saying ready to pop which was a lovely touch. The shop is a beautiful setting and a nice cosy space to have a gathering. We felt comfortable and taken care of and the booking process was so easy. We all went away with goodies as the shop is just filled with tons of homemade produce so it’s like a private shppping experience too! Definitely recommend giving it a visit.”

“We have often seen Masons but never ventured in until 3 weeks ago, how we wished we had done this sooner. We have now been for Saturday breakfast for the last 3 weeks. The staff are lovely, the food is great and it is a lovely place to be. They seem to love dogs and go out of the way to make a fuss of ours. Highly recommend to anyone.”

“We spent a lovely afternoon for our Mums 70th Birthday today. Fantastic service, delicious food and very friendly staff. They kept us stocked up with tea and we went through a lot! One of the children was asking for more ham sandwiches and we didn't have any left and a lovely lady overheard and brought more ham sandwiches. When we asked for the bill our Mum was presented with some more lovely cakes with a candle! Thank you very much for making our Mums day special, she often struggles going out but she really enjoyed herself. You are all amazing and we will recommend you to everyone!”

“When we arrived the table was not yet ready, we were told to get a drink at the bar. The bar is small so it did get quite full, we had 2 wheelchairs in the party and it was a little awkward to move around. Lovely with the log burner. All of the building was great for the accessability. The table was a good size to accomidate the wheelchairs. The table was located under the heater unit so there was a constent hot blow on one half of the table. This did make 2 guests a little uncomfortable. The food was lovely we had the pork & beef. The veg was a good selection with about 8 veg meaning there was something for everyone. Some of the veg were under cooked. The portion sizes were huge and meat was lovely. Could have done with a stake knife for the pink beef. Onto puddings, again the portions were huge I had the banoffee pudding and it was very nice. The only downside was the burnt toffee on the bananas and there were a few to many dried bananas however this is one of the nicest puddings I have had. Over all the meal was lovely and I will be returning.”

“Had breakfast with a friend as a catch up. The full English was so tasty and a large portion. The pork sausage was one of the best I've tasted. The only negative point of the breakfast was the scrambled egg - over done and rubbery, but the rest of the breakfast was so good. Flat white was good too. Would definitely be back again (hopefully better eggs next time)”

“Called Monday, early afternoon. Large, easy car park. Look for signs to cafe/shop. Nice farm shop. Good choice at farm shop prices. Noone was in there to ask for advice either on the way in or on the way out.🤷🏼♀️ Food looks good quality and it was spotlessly clean. Down a couple of steps to the cafe. It's not wheelchair friendly this way - maybe you could get through the outdoor seating area but check first. Small first floor dining area, larger upstairs and plenty of outdoor tables too. Lovely decor. Plenty of choice of cakes etc - all looked delicious and it wasn't all covered in chocolate! Bonus points for that ( from those of us who have a cocoa intolerance !!) We chose Clementine cake and cherry Bakewell cake, a flat white and a latte. These were brought to the table by the ladies serving. The coffees were hot and a good flavour. The cherry Bakewell was delicious, the Clementine was slightly dry unfortunately. The meals being served to the other tables looked good and a good portion too! Not much was left on their plates at the end either! Always a good sign. The cafe was busy but people were coming and going all the time so free tables were not an issue. It's obviously a popular place to go. The staff were pleasant and constantly busy with serving, paying, clearing tables etc. I can't abide watching staff have a natter whilst floors are dirty! So well done to them👍🏻 Yes, we would go again. Yes, we would recommend others visit.⭐⭐⭐⭐”
