The quintessential country pub. Always busy despite not serving food. Plenty of parking space front and rear. A good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. A great social atmosphere and fantastic, friendly staff. A roaring fire in the winter and a large outdoor area with plenty of tables for the summer make it a pub for all seasons. They even hold a classic car night twice a month in the spring and summer where you can look around a myriad of interesting vehicles, including tractors!
Wonderful selection of real ales kept to a high standard. Proper old fashioned inn with no fruit machine or juke box. Food is crisps and nuts ect. Friendly atmosphere and staff
Great traditional pub where there are no games machines, televisions, or music and limited mobile signal. Well kept cask ales. A pub with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Where people talk to one another. Only snacks and pork pies.
Bass served immaculately..Sat next to the well stocked Wood burner.. What's not to love ❤️
