Had a brilliant time playing this course. Really friendly staff and members & the course was super well kept and in great condition. Stunning location and the 10th is pretty spectacular. Looking forward to getting back.

Played early morning earlier this week. The pro and greens staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They were all so proud to showcase their course and for good reason! The front 9 was out of this world with unbelievable holes in every day, cannot wait to come back!

Played this course today, scenery beautiful. Lovely picturesque back drop but the course is not for beginners. The par 3’s are long, the par 4’s are long and the fair ways are packed with their own challenges. On top of this the greens are elevated with run offs too. Not a single flat hole, either steep uphill or steep downhill. Its a great challenge if you fancy yourself as a player, just not begginer friendly. The staff were nice and friendly, the place itself will no doubt be a good course to return to when i improve. But i play off 25 and today was tough. Thanks for having us Matlock Golf Club

1906Club As members of the 1906 group we had courtesy of the course and courtesy is the word to describe all the staff and members with whom we came into contact A warm welcome from the Pro and Assistant.. We’d booked a buggy and it was ready and waiting. A tricky course which really tested a lower handicap but with Tee positions to accommodate a higher handicap Lady A warm welcome and excellent food at a reasonable price at the bar even at non member prices. All members we came into contact with were warm, friendly and helpful. Don’t miss this gem if you’re in the Derbyshire Dales

Excellent Experience at Matlock Golf Course I recently had the pleasure of playing at Matlock Golf Course, and it was a fantastic experience. The course is in great condition, deceptively looking easy but offering plenty of challenges for all skill levels. Every hole had its unique set of obstacles, keeping the round exciting and engaging. The facilities were top-notch, and the food was excellent, making it a well-rounded day out. A special mention to the professional, Christian Goodman, who was incredibly helpful and offered some valuable tips that improved our round. I highly recommend this course to any golfer!
