Jess has been doing my hair for years, and I trust her implicitly! The salon is so warm and welcoming, and I couldn't go to anyone else. She's super knowledgeable and instantly puts me at ease. I have been using Jess for a few years , I highly recommend her. Jess goes above and beyond. Everytime I go I feel like I'm having a treat, when I have my hair washed it's like a mini head massage, which is fantastic. The salon is very modern, clean and everyone is very friendly and welcoming . Sometimes I can't decide what I want doing with my hair , Jess talks through different ideas, colours and cuts which would suit my face structure, fashion trends etc . I travel from Yorkshire, 1.30hr drive since moving up north as I don't trust anyone else! Well worth the long drive . Thank you Jess

I was so excited when I heard Alma was opening in Matlock, I had to book in as soon as it did! The booking process was so easy, all done online & confirmation given at the end. Upon visiting Alma, I was seated at the plush sofas and given a form to fill in. Once I'd done this, I was seated at one of the nail counters. I had my nails done with bio gel by Louise. She was so lovely, really friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable. I opted for gold nails (a bit of sparkle for Christmas) and the treatment was lovely! I also had biogel toes so Louise asked me to take a seat by one of the foot spa basins. This was also lovely and I opted for navy blue which looked lush! I was also offered a drink which came with a gingerbread cookie. The salon itself is absolutely stunning - light and airy and very spa like! It's modern and classy and it's been renovated to an incredibly high standard! Prices at Alba are also super competitive! I'll definitely be visiting again and might have to book a massage soon! Thanks so much for such a lovely first visit to Alba, I'll be raving about you to all my friends and family! x
