Went in this again morning to a warm welcome by the lovely lady behind the counter she was very polite very understanding of my Pacific needs and her name was Tara I like going in there like to meet some of the rest of the staff that works there

I was served by Carly and Tara who were both so friendly and welcoming. It’s my first time travelling alone so felt a bit anxious but they made my journey more enjoyable and my pain au chocolat was absolutely delicious ! Thank you guys !

I stumbled across this gem by chance driving past around the roundabout I decided to stop in for some food wonderful staff service beautiful food very large selection came back half an hour later with my mum and have some more food it was lovely well recommended place for food and the coffee was damn nice as well

I’ve lived in Derby for more than 30 years and never knew that this has the best coffee in town! The owner is Italian and makes super good coffee that will actually wake you up! He’s also friendly, super accommodating and made an ice latte despite it not being on the menu. Look forward to trying food next time

Lovely little cafe with the sweetest most helpful owner. The menu selection is huge, and so reasonably priced! Coffee and toasted sandwiches were absolutely delicious.

Was busy and seemed understaffed, so cant comment too much on service. Coffee was great and the Poke Bowl had great flavours. Cold drinks section could improve, but would definitely go again.

A really lovely cafe with excellent coffee and food. The service was great, even though they were busy and the food was delicious. We had the breakfast burrito and the new yorker ciabatta, a mocha and a tea. The place is also baby friendly, with a change table and an atmosphere I felt happy to breastfed in. Well worth the visit if driving anywhere nearby.

One of the better places to get coffee in derby. Not many options for a sweet treat with coffee. Very small and quiet inside. No real atmosphere. Felt awkward chatting to a friend with other customers sat so close and no background music, felt like I was sat in a work meeting.

Visited Pointsix for a second time with my daughter and partner. We ordered coffee and food. I asked for a pour over coffee and was told that it could be done, even though it was not on the menu. Everything was really good. My pour over and my partners latte were excellent. The food was very good. Flavourful and fresh. Will visit the third time.

Incredible Mediterranean breakfast and coffee, they altered it perfectly to make it vegan. Quality ingredients, roomy aesthetic cafe. Lovely staff and they welcomed my cat (on lead) in too.

Found this cafe last summer and wow the food is amazing , extremely reasonable and the owners are fantastic I have visited here so many times now and took lots of different friends and they all say the same, Highly Recommend and it's dog friendly and open 7 days a week.

We had such a delicious breakfast, honestly everything was so tasty. Staff were excellent, you could tell they had built a rapport with regulars. Cute decor and clean and tidy. Thank you, I'm sure we'll be back!

I cannot believe such a nice coffee exists in Derby, the decor and the place inside was just stunning, surprised by it, it's very crowded Saturday but still nice! Their coffee and specially latte was something else, superb 👌 it smells great and tastes wonderful! Real Italian coffee! The only thing I wish they would open Sundays, as well I really wish if they can add croissants or brioches to their menu for people who like to enjoy such a thing with a coffee

Lovely place in Derby. Huge selection of meals and soft drinks such as huge variety of milkshakes. Beautiful inside tables are downstairs and upstairs.

Yummy food. Great prices, did a build your own breakfast as I’m awkward with food. Sourdough was lovely and eggs perfect. Also got a flat white and had to try the banoffee protein treat! The treat was amazing. Highly recommend the sweet treats! Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic place. Coming from Australia I have struggled with the quality of coffee and cafes in the UK but luckily I stumbled across this little gem. Fantastic coffee, healthy food, great options, lovely location, good parking. Could not recommend this place more.

I have been to The Base Bar in Derby a few times before and each visit is better than the last. This time I popped along won’t be daughter for breakfast before heading into town for a mooch round the shops. I went for their smashed avocado with poached eggs on sourdough with added bacon and an oat milk latte and the daughter went for a berry granola bowl and hazelnut iced latter. Both were delicious 😋 it’s definitely a place to go and check out yourself and I can’t wait to go back for more.

A highly recommended place for food and drinks! The atmosphere is amazing! Two of the staff in particular, Nick and Holly, really stand out to me due to their hospitality and work ethic. It’s also great for a quick catch up with friends over lunch and to get work done.

Found this new gem in town! It has a cozy, relaxing atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a long day. The interior is beautifully designed have to give it a 10/10. The French toast is incredible - beautifully presented and full of flavour. The strawberry daiquiri is so refreshing and complements the dessert perfectly. The staff is very friendly and attentive which made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back and try more of their desserts! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, delicious experience.

First visit here. We ordered a pancake Lotus stack, Cornflake tart with custard and a strawberry mojito. Well we were pleasantly surprised… Everything was really enjoyable on this cold evening. The venue has a contemporary look. Very nice and clean. Will be back there soon. All the very best to the owners.

The cheesecake was absolutely amazing—probably the best we’ve had in ages. Creamy, perfectly balanced, and a true treat for the taste buds! 😍 The service here was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel so happy. Their kindness added an extra layer of sweetness to our visit. What a great cafè/take away! Lovely, friendly staff, spotlessly clean and delicious, reasonably priced food. No long waiting times even though they were busy. The tables were spacious enough to actually eat your food without feeling cramped as is usual in a lot of little cafès. There is quite a lot of choice on the menu too. With meals to suit everyone, including vegetarian and vegan, which is a refreshing factor in these little cafès. The vegan breakfast was DELICIOUS! and not overpriced, as is usually the case. I will definitely return and would 100% recommend anyone to try this lovely place out.

Great place, great owners. We are a little bais as we do know them if fact my wife used to work with one of them, that said; the food is always freshly cooked and hot. The will do whatever it takes to make you happy and they make occasion cakes, we have tried their Angle Cakes and they are good. All in all nothing bad to say about the owners, food or establishment. Christmas menu is up, Stocking Stuffer, super tasty and about the size of my head. Winner Winner Christmas Dinner.
