We love popping in here when visiting Buxton. Quiz on a Sunday night has a lovely atmosphere. Food is great and they offer smaller portions of some dishes which is handy if you have a smaller appetite.

Such a lovely lunchtime visit (again). Staff were very knowledgeable of Gluten Free requirements for coeliacs like me. Real fires, lovely food and great beer.

Cosy spacious pub with good food. Had an excellent chicken roast. One of my group was disappointed with the beef of their roast being tough. The steak and ale pie was delicious, as was the burgers and the childrens meal was a good portion size. Amazing friendly staff. Interesting selection of cask drinks. Accepted dogs but also had a dog free area which was great because one-off our group has severe allergies to dogs.
