So hard to find food of this quality nowadays , all the classics are on the menu ie coq au vin and bouef bourgignon plus snacks and brasserie favourites. Pre theatre menu £24.95 two courses . Great wine list reasonably priced about £22 a bottle and less for house . Staff could not have been more helpful. If I lived in Buxton I would be here every week ! Recommend
We enjoyed it so much we went back again for a 2nd night on our break to Buxton. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were lucky to meet the owner and enjoyed a wonderful conversation 'putting the world to right' 🤣. Definitely somewhere we would recommend... a true gem 👍
Amazing food and ambience...tucked away and a bit of a secret definitely worth a visit if you want something different and a taste of France.
