I recently ordered a cappuccino for £3.50, and while the coffee itself was really enjoyable—great quality and served at a perfect temperature, making it drinkable right away—the portion size was disappointing. The cup was so small, it felt like a child’s portion. For the price, the amount of coffee served doesn’t justify the cost, and you would have to purchase two cups to get a decent-sized amount. Unfortunately, because of this, I won’t be returning.

Overall a really great spot for brunch. I came here with a couple of friends and very much enjoyed our coffee and food. As a vegetarian I massively recommend the plant based brunch which was exactly what I needed on a Sunday morning. All of us were very complimentary of the coffee we had too. Downstairs tbe atmosphere is great-- well decorated and there's good music playing and a real buzz. Upstairs there is a space for working, and it's a bit less enjoyable if you're coming for brunch to sit upstairs as there's not music and quite a lot of people on laptops. Service was good and prompt but the staff were a little standoffish and they could improve the way they managed seating-- for example quite a lot of the tables for 4 were occupied by tables of 2- so it was a little awkward finding a space for 3 people. The system was very much 'grab your own seat' but it would have been helpful to have been seated by a server that could manage the situation. Overall great and I'd come again if I was visiting Nottingham.

Beeston. You don’t know how lucky you are to have such a quality coffee shop. Everything it sells is of the highest quality. Cartwheel coffee roasts its own coffee bakes its own treats and prepares superb tasting coffee. The owner was lovely too. Right, i need to move to Beeston.

I love this cafe! The staff are always so lovely, the coffee is amazing. The only thing missing is a loyalty discount since Im here almost every weekend!

Their cinnamon buns have changed my life. Listen, I've always had a slight fondness for cinnamon flavoured goodies but I've never considered myself an avid fan. A few months ago, my girlfriend offered me a bite of Cartwheel's cinnamon bun and frankly, it was one of the best sweet treats I have ever tasted. Light, fluffy, sweet, just the right about of chew and incredibly delicious. My bank account has not thanked me for this discovery but I now have to get one every week! And to top it all off, their french toast is to die for and their coffee is incredible. Please, do yourself a favour and visit this establishment immediately! You will not regret it.
