After a flood we used max Baggley plastering & decorating to replace the ceilings re plaster and decorate afterwards - some of the works whilst the office was still open and operating. They did a great job was very flexible working alongside us and rates were better than other quotes received, we will definitely use in future for other works when it comes up.

I arranged the guys from Measure twice to do some accessibility works on behalf of my Mother. They constantly stayed in touch and did work to a remarkably high standard for a very good price. Their multi disciplined team worked through the whole design with me, quoted accurately and sorted everything! light electrical work, reinforced walls, plumbed and decorated, and left immaculate. Harry and Ben who came over and did the works where lovely guys, professional, knowledgeable and great to have around. As someone who lives two hours away and arranged this on behalf of a family member, they advised on what support was available to us owing to my mother's disability, and the level of communication was just what I needed to put my mind at ease. I am also so impressed that they were able to make an accessible shower look so elegant and fit into the house so nicely. Would reccomend to anyone and will definitely look to use their services again in future.

We decided to use Jay after seeing examples of his work online and we were really pleased we did! We had an old upstairs bathroom that we inherited when we bought our house 12 months ago. It was in need of total replacement, including replacing the ceiling and removal of an old electric fan-heater that was attached to the wall. Jay was very transparent about costs and timelines (both of which were very accurate) and the end result looks fantastic. He is a super nice guy, down-to-earth, friendly, but more importantly he is honest and reliable. Would highly recommend!

I had a vision for a summer house on a hill and literally provided Jay with a basic drawing and some slightly tricky requirements (like reclaimed windows) and asked him to create something. Over the course of 3 months, Jay and Toby were a real pleasure to work with and the final result was even better than we could have imagined. This is the third major work that South Hams Handyman have carried out in the last few years for me. This time a completely new bathroom. As before, the work has been done to a very high standard, Jay liaised with us throughout the job, and as we were away in mid Dec. we were happy for Jay to have our key and do the major part of the work. Refurbishment of downstairs cloakroom (toilet/vanity unit & sink, tiles), replace cloakroom & hall floors with new luxury vinyl boards and updated upstairs bathroom with new vanity unit, toilet, bath panel, vinyl flooring, shower and shower screen. Jay also installed floating shelves, mirror, paper towel and soap dispensers in the cloakroom. Excellent job replacing what we believe to be the original build items of some 20 years ago (we have been in 2 years). Have already arranged for refurb of en-suite later in the year. Thanks Jay for a great job. 30/11/23 Jay has just refurbished the en-suite shower room in addition to work carried out in the summer which again had the original items from property build 21 years ago. Cannot rate Dean enough! I gave him the challenge of installing a new boiler in my upstairs bathroom in a home renovation. Old boiler, which had an immersion tank was previously in the kitchen. Dean drained down the whole system, took out all the old tanks and boiler, installed new pipework, moved my toilet to accommodate the new boiler and installed new soil pipe. He was thorough and friendly and even though i was at work, he was completely trustworthy and kept me updated with the progress. I have hot water, great heating, a new Hive system and i came home from work to a tidy home. Will recommend Dean to anyone and will be using him again soon for new radiators when i have finished decorating. Exceptional tradesman!

Dean Andrew's came to my home and sorted out my Tado heating control system. I was completely out of my depth and didn't understand how the system worked. He worked through the issues methodically, which involved pipework and re- programing the individual control valves. Dean explains everything in plain language. I would not hesitate in recommending Dean he has a wide range of skills and is personable and efficient.

What a fantastic service, would highly recommend. Ellis supplied and fitted a new side gate, of excellent quality and dug out an old manhole cover and surround, then cemented in a new surround, filling in holes found when digging out the old one. Ellis is a very personable, efficient workman with good honest communication and time keeping.

I initially employed Pete for some painting after sacking off rubbish tradesmen before him! He is easily the best in terms of workmanship I have seen. He’s a nice guy, turns up when he says and is reasonably priced. Since, he has done WiFi and camera installations and to be honest I’d always ask Pete in future if he could do a job before considering anyone else!

Ed was really positive from the very start. I asked if he could increase a fitted wardrobe opening and then fit sliding wardrobe doors, within this new space.
