Nicky has been doing my hair for almost two years now and my curls have never been better! Her curl knowledge is extensive, she considers my lifestyle (active and little time to fuss over hair due to small kids) and gives me a cut and colour that makes me feel amazing! It also helps that she’s an all round gorgeous person, serves delicious coffee and has book chat for days! Couldn’t recommend her highly enough - regardless of where you are in your curl journey!

Nicky McKenzie hair provides a lovely experience. The home salon is a gorgeous environment, very private and relaxing. Nicky always listens to what you want to do with your hair but has ideas and advice to enhance these ideas. Having highlights with Nicky means my hair is well looked after with hair care and aftercare advice specific to colouring treatments. I have been going to Nicky for years and the personalised experience is second to none. Would highly recommend.

Nicky is an artist, I arrived with frizz and left with curls that stayed for 48 hours. Then the real test was when I washed and dried my hair myself - I am back to my lovely curls and easy hair, I cannot thank her enough. There was a lot of information on the best way to look after and style which I am trying to follow and was welcome. Lovely lady with great skills, one very happy customer!

Having recently started embracing my natural curls, I went to Nicky for a dry curly cut. She listened to my concerns and what I was wanting for my hair in the long and short term. Wow! what a completely different hair experience I had this morning with Nicky. As someone who has fought against her curls for most of my life, Nicky has brought them to life and taught me how to manage my hair. I've gone from frizzy Crystal Tips to curly girl and she's taken 10 years off how I look. I am delighted.
