Kendal who owns the business is lovely and very customer focused. And is an experienced hairdresser for both men and women, it's all on one level with no steps and ample parking. It's also very reasonably priced . Kendal often books a slot for my wife, her mother and myself. If you are really lucky you might get to meet her gorgeous puppy.

Lovely, friendly, highly professional staff and fantastic hair cuts in a welcoming environment. We had 3 wet cuts and we are all loving our new do's! Dogs allowed in to salon with owner too for those on holiday!

I had my first visit to The Salon just before Christmas, following my hairdresser, Hollie in her new venture. On entering, I was immediately greeted by a friendly face and made to feel welcome by staff and clients alike. There was a lovely atmosphere and I felt very comfortable and valued.

Popped in today while I'm in Dorset ( from Brighton) with family..i don't like trying new barbers especially when you don't know the area but really needed my hair cutting! Cut was really good and had a nice chat with Steve the owner. It's a Nice old school barber shop with a friendly atmosphere will definitely go again next time in down

Steve's services are impeccable. His prices are fair and reasonable. I've been getting a fade haircut for years from him he always delivers. If it was any other barber in the area it could be an extra 50% on top for the same quality cut.

Out of the barbers I have visited I always come back here. Just two people who give a good hair cut at the best price £8 per. Good conversation (no coffee though) haha.

Welcoming with a lovely sense of being protected during the current climate. Always a sharp hair cut just how you want it by Steve and Bonnie. Cheap as chips too. Great with my young son and the banter is awesome. If you have to wait in line it's worth it just for the conversation! Could not recommend any higher. Best barber's in Dorset for sure!

Janemarie and all the team have been and continue to be amazing, they have looked after me so well, having broken my shoulder it has been impossible to wash my hair and do my nails, so I have been a regular visitor the past 3 weeks, and they have been so generous and caring. I recently had my hair cut by Maddy. It's the first cut where I can wash and style my hair and make it (nearly) as good as when Maddy first did it. She was so lovely I booked my daughter in to have hers done as well. Both daughters treated to a hot chocolate and Maddy was so good at listening to my daughter and cutting her hair perfectly. Can't recommend highly enough.

Such a lovely experience having my hair styled for a wedding. The girls here are so friendly & clearly know their stuff when it comes to hair - my curls survived an outdoor sunny ceremony, a night of dancing, and were still there when I brushed them out in the morning!! I took my 14 year old daughter to this new stylish and very current salon. Great it has parking and so easy to find. My daughter was very nervous and not sure what she really wanted. Becks took care of her the whole time, they picked what she wanted together and you really listened to her. It looked amazing and my daughter couldn't have been happier. My daughter went in with half her hair tangled in the biggest matt of knots. All the staff were amazing and everyone pitched in! They were so patient and kind and generous with their time. Emily cut my hair and I felt relaxed and comfortable the moment I stepped in. She listened to what I wanted and cut my hair the way I wanted. It’s a cosy and tranquil space. I’ve booked in for another appointment and look forward to using the beauty treatments one day. I recommend checking how to get to the parking area before arriving as this was a bit tricky.

Fabulous eco and thoughtful salon. It was a real treat to have my hair done by Emily and it's honestly the best cut and blow dry I've had in years. Paul gave me a great cut and listened to exactly what I wanted to achieve. I wanted highlights and Paul took time explaining what would look best with my natural hair colour. I was so wrong with the colour I wanted and Paul was so right with the colour that would suit me. Will definitely be going back here in the future.
