I recently took my 3 year old daughter here for her first trim of her slow growing curly locks. I also had my 6 year son in tow. It was just before Christmas so the salon was very busy. We arrived just in the nick of time and were made very welcome. Although it was crowded, space was quickly made for us to get seated and Kate was attended to with professionalism and care. My son can be a little energetic at times and did wander down the salon a couple of times to be rapidly called back by me. At no time did I feel that there was any negative feedback from that by the staff. In fact the children were offered a sweet as a treat and the staff enaged with them when they could particularly Natalie the owner. Kate left feeling very happy. While I was sat there, I was able to observe the quality of the work that the team were creating for the clients of all ages. I would highly recommend and look forward to taking Kate along in future.

Had a lovely hair cut today with Nadine. I didn't know what to do with my hair, but thanks to Nadine's knowledge I walked out with my hair looking much more healthy and with more volume! I also had a lovely head, neck and shoulder massage which was a really nice touch. Already booked back in for January! Thanks Nadine & the rest of the Beautifully Gorgeous team for being so warm and welcoming!

I had a lovely lady called Jodie, she was amazing! Excellent customer service! She was very bubbly and welcoming, gave constant reassurance (it was a big cut and I hate change). She did an exceptional job on my hair and I absolutely love it! The hair wash was another level - I nearly fell asleep! The most relaxed I've been in years! Would recommend to family and friends!

I booked Caroline and Elk for my wedding day and I'm so glad I did. They were not only extremely professional but were amazing on the day. They both truly cared about how my bridesmaids and I felt about the hair and make up. All the woman looked amazing and felt confident. Her kindness and patience made me feel comfortable and relaxed, and I knew I was in safe hands. Caroline meticulously walked me through every step of the makeup process, teaching me how to recognise and correct mistakes. We had in-depth discussions about the benefits of various products, and I truly appreciated her insights into different brands and price ranges. She even took the time to review my existing makeup bag, helping me identify what to keep and how to use it effectively. After our session, I’ve received so many compliments on my makeup! Her aftercare has been exceptional, and I’ve greatly valued having someone to message about makeup choices. I couldn’t recommend Caroline enough!

Caroline and Elke were nothing short of perfection on my wedding day. They were endlessly professional, calm and lovely and made myself, my mother and bridesmaids all feel as if we were in very safe hands! I was a first timer at The Hair & Beauty Lounge, Wallisdown Road. This lovely airy salon back in June having received a birthday voucher from my friend . I chose to have my nails done for my Grandson's wedding as never spoil myself in this girly way usually, so was a real treat. Well what a fabulous job Lacey did too. And to prove how pleased I was I’ve been back for infills every 4 weeks ever since. Being one of the older generation a couple of my nails started to crack vertically and get lines in as they do in advancing years. So this was a perfect solution and my nails now look so beautiful all the time. Having lovely looking nails is better than I thought it would be. Last time I had a massage, wasn’t the best (many years ago in a spa). so I had a low opinion on them. After hearing good reviews about the massages, I bit the bullet & booked in last night for today. Just left the salon after having the promotion offer on a full body/deep tissue massage with the complimentary Indian head massage. After today, I will be back in for regular treatments. Jess, the lovely lady who provided me with the most OUTSTANDING service. Jess made me feel relaxed, comfortable and confident within the treatment. The room had this beautiful music playing, very calming atmosphere. Asked about the areas that affect me most, asked me questions through out if I was okay, and the pressure was comfortable. Very, very warm welcoming. Top notch work and I’ll see you soon! 100% recommend Jess for a treatment, £45 is a great price for what I’ve had done today. I feel amazing, and the products used are beautiful.

I've been getting my haircut with Alice for nearly 10 years, and the service and atmosphere at HBLounge is truly the best. The whole team is welcoming and friendly. I will always recommend Alice and the team.

New Image are amazing. They give great advice, they listen to what you would like and if that is not possible they explain why and talk you through alternative options always listening to you along the way. I went to New Image for my hair to be put up for my son’s wedding which was held locally. It was such a fabulous experience at the salon. I had never been before and that made it difficult . Fern did it absolutely beautifully and the style was admired by many at the wedding. She talked through my style and made sure I was happy with it. She is such a creative and talented young girl. This is a friendly, happy and customer focused business. I might have to come over to Wareham for another appointment ! 🙏

On 27/6 I had a hot stone massage for the first time ever and had an amazing experience. Amber was lovely and very skilled. I suffer with a lot of back pain most of the time and she adjusted the pressure she used for different parts of my back which gave me a totally relaxing experiencing. I came out feeling taller somehow and in a lot less pain. I can’t wait for my next appointment tomorrow!

My little 6 year old had her ears pierced on Thursday and the team were amazing. They talked her through what would happen and took the time and care to check she was ok. One very happy little girl, thank you so much , would highly recommend x

I am so pleased I popped into this lovely salon in Penn Hill. Liz and the team are fantastic. After years of using bottle colours my hair was weak and looked very unhealthy. I decided to give the organic range a try that Barnet & Belle offer. My hair has not felt like this for years, super soft and glossy!! Thank you!! I also have my nails done here - Local - super friendly and lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Barnet & Belle - what a breath of fresh air this salon is. Organic, vegan products that are sourced locally and aren’t full of chemicals like most, PLUS first-class hairdressing. I am so pleased with my hair and have had many compliments since Ellie did it. She is extremely knowledgeable and just lovely. Book the appointment!

I went into Profile to see Beth for a long overdue cut and colour on my hair. I have really long, thick hair and it’s impossible to wear down around my 3 children so it’s often up in a bun or a ponytail which has ruined it. Beth has absolutely brought it back to life. Her hand painting balayage skills are second to none, I’ve never seen anything like it! She takes HUGE pride in her work, and her technique is amazing. You can really see how much she loves her work. Beautiful salon, very warm and welcoming and coffee on tap is a bonus for a tired mama. I walked out of there refreshed, with luscious and healthy hair and I could not be happier. I will recommend Beth to anyone and everyone, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Beth🥰
