Amanda was truly the MVP of our wedding! From the moment we started working with her, she brought a level of organisation, efficiency, and creativity that made everything run smoothly. Her friendly and approachable communication style kept us all on track in the planning stages, and her attention to detail ensured that every part of our day was exactly as we envisioned. Having access to her beautiful styling collection was a game-changer for the overall look, and she went above and beyond to bring it all together. Thanks to Amanda, we were able to enjoy every minute of the day itself without a single worry. Involving her was the best decision we made and I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Where do I even start with this incredible human?! Amanda is the kindest, most creative and inspirational wedding planner, stylist and coordinator. We were lucky enough to have Amanda involved in every aspect of our wedding and we are so thankful for her guidance and support. From our first initial emails, consultation meeting, final meetings and numerous messages (from me!), Amanda was nothing but helpful and supportive. On the day, it was a joy to have Amanda join my bridal prep in the morning, brining a sense of calm, style and humour. She ensured everything was on track and ensured that I was happy and prepared for when we moved to the venue. During the day, we had countless compliments about Amanda's efficiency and how friendly she was. Everything ran like clockwork, with no issues, and I am certain this was due to Superwoman Amanda. She also helped us to achieve the perfect champagne spray photo! The styling... Words fail me. Amanda took our ideas and colours and made it so much more. During our final design meeting, Amanda made detailed notes and offered suggestions for how to syle our venue. We were so confident in her abilities, we encouraged Amanda to do what she does best, and she did! Amanda created the classiest, cosiest, most elegant autumn vibes you could ever imagine. Our photographer, who had worked at the venue numerous other times, said it was the most beautiful she had ever seen it. I truly cannot recommend Amanda enough. She has a heart of gold and I feel so privaledge to have worked with such a creative and inspiring person. We recently got married at Old Gore Barn in the cotswolds, and Amanda, our wedding stylist, was an absolute dream! I honestly can’t recommend her more if you are looking for a wedding stylist. She was always available, promptly assisting us with any questions or concerns we had. She had a cool, calm, and collected vibe that made us feel at ease during the entire planning process, and we knew we could trust her entirely with brining our vision to life. She had incredible suggestions for our day of how we could include our own sourced decor with her own collection and she just went above and beyond to think about every little detail of styling for the venue. On the big day, we were truly blown away with the attention to detail and scale that Amanda was able to achieve with a tight set up time. We had our guests and other suppliers commenting what an amazing job she had done and what a genuinely gorgeous person she is to work with. If you're getting married and are considering a wedding stylist, my one suggestion is to book Amanda while you can ! Amanda is so talented and incredible at what she does. She's a styling superstar, and we can't thank her enough for making our dream wedding absolutely perfect! Thank you again Amanda x

We hired Amanda for our Wedding in May 2024 as a wedding coordinator, and by far was probably the best decision we made during our planning. I honestly don’t know how our wedding would have taken place on the day without Amanda. Amanda set up all our props for our Wedding the day before / morning of, and then coordinated our day. Amanda really went above and beyond throughout the day, keeping the day on track and making sure it aligned to mine and my husband wishes. Her attention to detail was outstanding, and she really brought our vision to life. We honestly cannot say thank you enough and would absolutely recommend Amanda to anyone getting married. I have only just started going to Olive Lounge since Chloe moved there, I've known Chloe for many years from previous salons she's worked at. Olive lounge is a really lovely & comfortable salon, and the other ladies who work there are so nice & welcoming, I am looking forward to having many treatments there in future and another plus - plenty of free parking onsite.

We rented our table runners, serviettes, place mats, wooden slices and cake stand from These Two Only. Laura was determined to get the absolute perfect colour to match our scheme, and she outdid herself! They matched perfectly, and our tables looked incredible. They were so easy to communicate with, especially as I kept changing my mind (sorry!), and suggested different pieces that I hadn't even thought of, but worked brilliantly with my vision. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding!

Stylish wedding are definitely a must have on your big day. They completely elevated our wedding breakfast and evening reception. I did not have to lift a finger these women were incredible, they coordinated with our venue, and most impressive managed to carry 10 chairs at once was a sight to behold. The room was meticulously set up, not a thing out of place.

I cannot express how incredibly amazing Fiona Amelia and their team are! They had literally outdone themselves considering that I had emailed them the night before my wedding after 10pm about quite major issue with one of the suppliers. I’ve been having my hair done with Dan for years and my hair has never looked better. I tried many other salons in the past and was never fully satisfied with the results. Embellish has such a nice atmosphere and always provides a top quality service. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Would never go anywhere else.

I’ve been going to Sarah for many years. I followed her from a previous salon to embellish because such good hairdressers are hard to come by. I love the salon she is at now. The salon I has recently undergone a renovation and looks lovely. The seats are so comfortable to sit in while you are having your hair done. It’s a friendly salon with a professional and comfortable atmosphere. Sarah is so good at her job. I’m fussy about how I have my hair done but Sarah always pays attention to what I want and does it just right. She is a credit to the salon. She is a lovely young lady with a caring nature. She takes really good care of you when she’s styling your hair and really wants to make you feel lovely. Thank you so much Sarah if you read this.

Our Society recently had a golf day at Chapel en le frith Golf Club and were overwhelmed with how great an experience it was. Breakfast, Diner and Tea all included in the price, coffee on arrival, one 18 hole round and a 9 hole round. The club captain came in to greet us even though he was injured and gave us some good information on the course. The course is amazingly maintained, Tee Boxes, Fairways and greens are all really well maintained and look great, the views from the course are breath-taking. Fairways are very open however the course is very challenging and will test your golf skill. Buggy hire is exceptionally reasonably priced. the food was prepared really well and tasted great. the whole group couldn't find a single complaint throughout the whole course. 10/10 - Hope to see you all again soon !

Held my Dad's wake at the golf club on Monday 3rd February, couldn't fault it had the hot sandwiches and chips, they were fantastic great quality meat on the sandwiches and plenty of it, cakes were delicious. Upstairs room was great. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, would definitely recommend.

What an absolute pleasure to play a course which I must have driven past many times and never really knew it was here! Excellent condition out on the course. Made very welcome in the Pro Shop and Clubhouse bar. There are some little touches which make the experience so memorable. The outside seating alongside the practice green is no doubt well used and made for a welcome post round refreshment seat! Stunning views on many holes, the challenge on each is different taking the experience up a further notch! Thank you for supporting the On Course Foundation with their fund raising!

Beautiful course and perfect weather, challenging test for all levels of golfers. The course is hilly and greens trcky but the views you get are stunning,, we visited as a society and everyone enjoyed it 👌👌

What an absolute gem of a golf course! But my word it’s hilly so get a buggy!! £40 for manicured greens and well presented fairways, different challenges and views over Hope Valley. Just brilliant, will be back (with a buggy again)

Played this course today, scenery beautiful. Lovely picturesque back drop but the course is not for beginners. The par 3’s are long, the par 4’s are long and the fair ways are packed with their own challenges. On top of this the greens are elevated with run offs too. Not a single flat hole, either steep uphill or steep downhill. Its a great challenge if you fancy yourself as a player, just not begginer friendly. The staff were nice and friendly, the place itself will no doubt be a good course to return to when i improve. But i play off 25 and today was tough. Thanks for having us Matlock Golf Club

Excellent Experience at Matlock Golf Course I recently had the pleasure of playing at Matlock Golf Course, and it was a fantastic experience. The course is in great condition, deceptively looking easy but offering plenty of challenges for all skill levels. Every hole had its unique set of obstacles, keeping the round exciting and engaging. The facilities were top-notch, and the food was excellent, making it a well-rounded day out. A special mention to the professional, Christian Goodman, who was incredibly helpful and offered some valuable tips that improved our round. I highly recommend this course to any golfer!

Played early morning earlier this week. The pro and greens staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They were all so proud to showcase their course and for good reason! The front 9 was out of this world with unbelievable holes in every day, cannot wait to come back!

Another great golf course that I have been to up North. Superb condition around all of the course and not just the greens. Will need to use good course management around it as some of the holes have a camber on the fairways so its quite fun and some of the greens can be quite exciting too. The food in the club house is really really good especially washed down with the beer on tap and the staff are very nice. Will be going down again in the next week and I can't wait!! ________________________________ Update: I have fallen in love with this club. Have played all over the UK but feel so great coming here. Brilliant course that is made perfect by the atmosphere of the staff and members alike. Have had great interaction leading to purchases of a new driver and hybrid. Didn't try to sell me just anything but gave me various options of clubs to try and see what suits me. Look forward to purchasing my irons soon and having some more of the great food and drink to quench my thirst after an enjoyable session on this picturesque golf course. _________________________________ EDIT: 14/10/2022 This is my go to golf course now. They are currently in the process of changing the first two or three holes by adding features to them. This will make it more interesting for the more advanced golfers by adding bunkers for the longer hitters as they will come into play on the first hole. The second hole par 3 will incorporate larger bunkers around the green so accuracy will be key. By doing these changes, this course is coming on leaps and bounds and I love every moment being here. You will not be disappointed and the staff are absolutely great to deal with. It's my second home now so to all of you that are thinking about playing this course , do it. You won't be disappointed. Just be patient as you might not be be able to play the first two holes at the moment but I feel this is going to be worth the wait.

Golf was a joy, the course is playing very well and looks the part, greens are getting better, one big disappointment are the bins, on the round we played I noticed that 5 of the bins were overflowing with rubbish, not all from golfers because there were many empty bottles of beer but these bins have been like this for well over a week, come on Tapton get to grips.

Visited the Golf Club as a friend is a member and we were booked in for the charity quiz. A great time was had by everyone, the food was definitely up to scratch and the Jaipur went down a treat, can’t comment on the course though!

Superb golf course and setting. Well worth a visit if you get chance, although a little brown just at the moment, the tees, greens and surrounds are well watered so still very playable.
