It wasn't very easy to find your salon but when I did found it to be beautiful inside and the hairdressers very welcoming. Alicia has attention to detail and I am very happy with my braids and will be back. My mum passed away 12 weeks ago on the day I visited Alicia. She not only made me look amazing but I feel rejuvenated, Alicia is professional, very knowledgeable, punctual and made me feel at ease. She has given me top tips for managing and maintaining my new style and not only did she answer my questions she has given me suggestions on blending colours for the future. I was greeted with a smile and hot drinks, hospitality was great. Thank you Alicia from the bottom of my heart and see you next month. You are amazing and you’ve made me look amazing. Today I visited the new “Gloss hair and Beauty” Lisa has been doing my hair for several years now but this was my first visit to her new salon. While I was waiting for my colour to take, Millie the beauty lady waxed and tinted my overdue eyebrows. She came to my seat which was a fab touch. Felt very pampered! Gloss looks classy and well fitted out, the coffee is delicious and Lisa’s colour and cut 10/10 as usual. Totally recommend. 👍

Wow... this woman is amazing! Lisa is your go to lady, she is so friendly, professional and makes you feel at ease from the second you enter her salon! She is absolutely incredible and fixed a very bad hair cut I had done previously. I am very anxious when visiting a new salon but Lisa made me feel so comfortable and gave me my dream cut ✂️. I genuinely can't thank you enough Lisa, can't wait to visit again!!

Had my second cut and blow dry yesterday. The experience was as wonderful as the first time. This time I added a brow tint and shape which was also a fabulous positive experience. The team are friendly and welcoming as well as being excellent at what they do. Heartily recommend.

Had a partial rewire plus other work. I had every confidence in this company at every stage. Excellent value, a comprehensive estimate and all work completed on time. The guys were very conscientious and considerate, doing their best to minimise any disturbance and always leaving the house tidy. I would strongly recommend Positive Electrics.

This is the second time I have used Positive Electrics. This time I asked them to upgrade the lights in my kitchen, loft and outside to LEDs and motion activated where appropriate . James was very good an advising me about light levels - tone and brightness - which was helpful as I grew up with 40, 60 and 100w bulbs. He also advised me about replacing my burglar alarm and 2 old extractor fans in bathroom areas. The estimates were clearly laid out and I understood exactly what work was being done and roughly how long it would take. The team ( 2 electricians and a mate) that came to do the work were fantastic. I was working from home that day with a heavy schedule and they were very careful in planning their work so it didn’t disrupt mine. They were a pleasure to have in the house, very polite and friendly and they explained how all the new kit worked especially the burglar alarm. Before leaving they made sure I was happy and they tidied everything up and hoovered. I strongly recommend them.

Very happy with Positive Electrics. James was very helpful on the phone, estimate provided within 2 hours (which was very close to final invoice) and very happy with the work carried out. I had some old light fittings swapped out for new, a dimmer switch replaced and some down lights put in. I provided a key and it was all sorted whilst I was at work. Will use Positive Electrics in the future.

James and his team are top quality! They did wiring in most rooms, putting new lights on, new switches and new sockets on with new hobs in the kitchen. They communicated effectively with me, with their works they are doing. The lads are really good at what they do. James has been responsive and his customer service is great. I look forward to be working with this team again in my next investment project!

Highly recommend Sophie!!! My hair got a very terrible experience on other salon, I feel very sad and disappointed, until Sophie changed this situation. She was very friendly and always tell me I will try my best to make u look better!! Then she did excellent job and my hair look shiny 🥹 I would say Many thanks! Absurdly Sophie is the best hairstylist I have ever met.

Just got my hair cut after 2-3 years ,was very thin and unevenly cut before but she sorted my hair out was advised on what to do to grow longer again , she was so reassuring and lovely to me whole team are so kind! very cheap for a wash cut and blow dry thank you so much will deffo be coming again❤️

Found Jake’s company via Facebook, along with a couple of other firms & also one of the “big boys”. Jake & Jensen came round to help plan our project and give us a quote. Not surprisingly, as a bespoke project, they weren’t the cheapest but we felt happy we would get value for money. That proved to be the case and we were delighted with the final result. We added extra bits to our requirements but Jake was flexible enough to accommodate our requests. We can highly recommend Davidson Bespoke Joinery for the final product and their customer service, along with his contacts who did some electrical work for us,at the same time.

Jake designed and installed a fitted wardrobe for me. The different stages involved and payment schedule were clearly communicated. There were a number of home visits to take measurements, understand the space and to discuss in detail what I was looking for. Jake provided good options and advice on the wood finish and other aspects of the design. He understood my requirements well and this was reflected in the finished product which looked exactly as I envisioned. Would not hesitate to commission again for any further joinery work. Update: I commissioned Jake to design and install a custom storage unit in my hallway alcove. He understood my brief and worked to maximise the limited space. The unit matches the style of existing joinery including shadow gaps and was delivered primed and ready to paint it myself. Really pleased with how it has turned out and has transformed the feel of the room into a tidier, cohesive space.

We have had a brilliant experience with Davidson Bespoke Joinery. Right from the start Jake has been great to work with. He put much more thought into the design than anybody else did and we really felt like he cared about getting the best finished product. It was an unusual space, under the slope of a roof in our loft conversion, but Jake managed to get the finished wardrobes to look like they really belonged there. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and we have already arranged to have some more work done in the spring.

I approached Jake just over a year ago with the idea of having a bespoke kitchen. I was already impressed with work I had seen in other homes but the design process, ideas and attention to detail during fitting exceeded expectations. I love my new kitchen space and it’s admired by so many people. I have since added pieces to other areas in the house, which are equally impressive. The level of service and craftsmanship provided by Jake and Jensen is exceptional and I cannot recommend highly enough!

Phil and Tom installed extra storage cupboards and shelves into our eaves and did an excellent job. Cleaned up at the end of each day, so asked them to install new bannister/handrail/skirting boards and flooring. Again arrived on time and provided good quality workmanship. Can't recommend them enough, would not hesitate to contact again.

We were having problems trying to get quotes for some building work. Several builders turned up and then never provided quotes which is frustrating. Chiltern Joinery Service was recommended to us and Phil turned up on time and provided a detailed quote within a couple of weeks. Phil kept us informed about when he could start as he had lots of work already in the pipeline. When Phil started work we were informed about what was going to happen each day and who was turning up the following day and at what time. Most other builders just turn up when they want and don’t keep you informed so this was great to have a builder who communicates with the customer. Phil had lots of good advice and incorporated extra work without any issues. The work was done to a good standard and a reasonable price. The work was to refurbish 4 cold rooms in a 1920 house and make them more energy efficient by adding lots of insulation etc. We can certainly feel the difference now and a friend with a thermal imaging camera proved that the rooms are much warmer than the other rooms in the house. After that Phil and his team installed fitted bedroom and office furniture. Phil will be visiting in the near future to fix a minor problem with the roof, and we’ll be happy to use Phil’s services in the future for another bedroom, bathroom and kitchen.

Phil has completed a range of different jobs for us since 2013. Initially we commissioned him to complete a tricky staircase renovation job-his attention to detail and speed were notable. From that point on Phil has completed a loft conversion and most recently an entire house remodel for us. Phil treats every job as if it was his own home and gives valuable suggestions when required. He is an excellent communicator and his son Tom who works with him has become a capable craftsman in his own right. Phil and his team become part of the family when on site and we cannot recommend them highly enough.

Manoj and his team are trustworthy, kind and professional. Communication was great, the workmen (and women!) were lovely and a genuine pleasure to have around. Shout out to Evan who was particularly excellent. They all did a great job on my garden/patio and I would recommend them wholeheartedly. With the amount of dodgy tradespeople about I wouldn't use anyone else - so see you next year guys ;)

Absolutely brilliant service. Manoj and his team started helping us in January with some (much needed!) garden maintenance. We were so impressed with them that we asked if they could build us a new patio. What started as a maintenance visit has turned into a new patio, new path, new steps, revamped rockery, new lawn and reseeded the main lawn. They are brilliant. Shout out to Evan who leads the landscaping side - very knowledgeable and always looking for innovative solution. Manoj has an excellent team, is polite and courteous and a pleasure to have helping us! I could not recommend highly enough. A proper 5 star review.
