Steve and his team provided an excellent service from the first call to request a survey and quotation to the work being done. The survey was completed using a drone showing the damaged areas on the roof. Quotation was provided swiftly and work completed within a week. Hopefully the need does not occur again soon but would be more than happy to use SPH Roofing again.

I had the pleasure of hiring Steve and his team to do a full roof installation, replacing all the old existing tiles and roofing felt. I have been having leaking issues due a poor dry ridge installation in 2017. After doing extensive vetting and meeting the team I was very confident that I have found the right team. First impressions are important to me, this was maintained from start to finish and I believe they worked on my home like it was their own. Kurt, Lewis, Regie and Jamie were very polite (even when I got their names wrong consistently), genuinely attentive and patient when I asked a lot of questions about what they were doing and why. Each time I left settled and more confident that the work was in good hands, night and day compared to work the that was done previously. Before finishing off the day the team would make sure the surrounding site was clean and tided from debris. I have since (and evening during the work) had neighbours complimenting, admiring the hard work and professionalism the team displayed. I’m very critical and fussy but the final result is ‘perfect’. I have no issue recommending SPH Roofing to any friends and family. Now I just need it to rain so it’ll wash some of the dust off the new tiles haha. Thanks again SPH, Super job.

A very picturesque course and only a little hilly. Reasonably priced golf and refreshments with great, friendly staff. Definitely recommend a visit.

We had a family birthday in meal, there were 19 of us. The room is okay if a little bare with not much atmosphere. The view out across the golf course was good. The menu was good with everybody finding things they liked, there were plenty of gluten free options for those that needed them. The quality of the food was good across all 3 courses and nit to expensive. 2 courses for £17 3 courses for £22. There is no bar in the dining room, so you had to go to the bar for them. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a pleasant place to eat as a large group.

The champagne breakfast was 10 out of 10. The food was superb, the staff friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. There was plenty to choose from on the menu, something for everyone, and if you had any dietary requirements, those were catered for too. The atmosphere of the Dovecote was relaxed and unrushed. Thank you for a lovely and enjoyable meal.

A fantastic 18 hole golf course, lovely scenery and Deer watching as you play which is fantastic. It's just a shame that they don't reduce the green fees over the winter months like most courses as it gets very boggy.

Just arrived back after a 4 night stay. I can only describe the experience from the minute I arrived until the minute I left as Wonderful, Magical, Cosy, Home from Home, All Team Members ho above and beyond, so friendly and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. I would like to thank 3 people in particular, and this is in no way a reflection as these were the main people who assisted me during my 4 night stay. Tracy, Debbie, Lisa. I would love to put each of them forward for a staff award if you have one. I can't wait to stay again in 5 weeks as I never feel like I am away from home when staying at Morley Hayes it really is home from home. Thanks again ☺️

Played as a green fee whilst on holiday. Fantastic course with lots of interesting holes and great views. Good condition bearing in mind the amount of rain this year. The price was brilliant for the standard of the course. We played late afternoon and had a reduced fee. Definitely will play again.

Played here on a sunny Sunday evening and really enjoyed the course. The tees, fairways and greens were in really good condition, and as far as the holes go my favourite was probably the uphill par 3 9th, although I enjoyed all of the par 3's. Of the rest the downhill par 4 11th will remain long in the memory, and the 12th will have you wondering just how far you can afford to hit your tee shot with water at the bottom of the fairway. With one or two exceptions the fairways are reasonably friendly, so a course that anyone can really play. I'm not saying they'll necessarily score well though. The greens are pretty tricky too. It's not a flat course, so if you have any issues with a few climbs then this might be one to consider getting a buggy. It is worth playing though.

Nice course with very welcome Pro. Has a small range (but you can hit driver) and warm up area and a practice green. The course is nice with some interesting holes including ones with water in play. A decent length as well, particularly off the back tees. The only issue I had was with some of the greens (which seem somewhat of upside bowls and impossible to stop the ball on), and a fair few blind tee shots. But these are only small issues. For the price it’s definitely worth a visit.

Fairways at Chevin Golf Club had the most delicious steak pie I have ever had. It had chunky beef pieces covered in thick, rich gravy. This is definitely a place for pie!

Pav, everything you and your team did on that day was spectacular. From the centrepieces to the signs outside, right upto the top table (without being biased, it was the best one I've ever seen 😅), was absolutely amazing. It gave the venue such a wonderful look. Booking Vermillion for our wedding week was the best decision. From the planning all the way through to the big days, everything ran smoothly. Pav helped our visions come to life, and delivered even more than we could’ve expected. Our friends and family were blown away by the decor, and we heard compliments throughout the week. We were a bit unsure on what our budget would get us, and Pav was completely transparent on what would be provided. We are super grateful that we booked with such a professional and friendly team. Working with Pav was the best thing we did. We booked our wedding pre-covid and had to downscale to an intimate wedding of 25. Pav was so calm and as we went through the journey, he listened and took on board our vision but also understood us. We cannot recommend them enough! Pav was absolutely brilliant. Held my 70th Birthday Lunch there on Sunday 2nd March. There were 15 of us (obviously we pre booked) including my two youngest grandchildren. The unanimous vote was, that that was the best carvery meal we've ever had. Absolutely delicious, freshly cooked, and presented by the very friendly chef. Who went the extra mile to cook a beautiful veggie meal for one of us and chicken nuggets for the wee ones. Excellent value for money. Heartily recommended. We'll definitely eat there again.

Fantastic course and in a great condition for the time of year. Pro shop even provided a cart at short notice which was superb. Greens and tee boxes are well presented and bunkers are stone free. Fairways were pristine and it was great to play a course where the long rough is a penalty, but possible to play from. Day wrapped up with a pint in the clubhouse, which has a very old school function room feel (in a good way), ended in a great visit for two soft southerners on a weekend away.
