Chelsea and the team are incredibly special women. Chelsea has been doing my hair for over 10 years and even now, the moment I walk in the door I feel taken care of. I let Chelsea have full creative control but she explains what she is doing and to make sure I am happy. She pays attention to every single detail and puts the health of my hair first. The salon itself is beautiful. I trust no one else to do my hair and I always leave feeling fantastic! I always get lots of compliments too. Chelsea is more than a hairdresser - is a caring and talented super star!

Chelsea is a real-life hair angel! She has been soo honest with my hair journey, especially in pregnancy, and has advised me on which haircare products will help whilst trying to lengthen and thicken my hair! Her talent for colour is incredible and rare to find in Kent! After years of searching for my lifelong hairdresser, Natural Hair Designs is my salon! Chelsea always gets my blonde right! She has also done tape hair extensions in the past for me which have been amazing! The salon is beautiful and bright, private and has parking! They only use the highest quality products including K18 and Redken! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair!

I had my hair done with Chelsea yesterday and it was the most incredible experience from start to finish. I'm extremely self conscious and have had issues with my weight since having children, so attending a salon with 3 stunning women would normally make me feel extremely anxious but the whole team made me feel relaxed and were super friendly. Chelsea is quite simply amazing, her attention to detail and her passion for creating beautiful colour is unmatched and I can't believe how gorgeous my colour looks after just one visit. The salon is beautiful and such a safe space and you could see the team have such a great bond. Can not wait for my next visit.

Can’t praise this hair salon enough. Abbey is a really skilled hair stylist and gives great attention to detail. Also, the premises are very nice and I love the relaxing massage chair which has been installed when having your hair washed !

I recently became a new client of Chelsea & Abs, straight away I felt in safe hands. I have vivid colours and extensions and the girls have done the most amazing job with my hair. The colours are brilliant and so bright & my extensions feel so comfortable. Their product knowledge is excellent as my hair always feels so fresh & healthy. The girls are so lovely & always have the best of times with them, can't wait to carry on my hair journey with them.

Today I went to Terri Gilham for the first time as I was recommended by my mum and what a great experience it was! My stylist Maria was so friendly and attentive, always making sure that I was comfortable and happy- as were the other staff too! I’m in love with my hair and can’t wait to go back!

The salon is a lovely boutique style salon in Kent. On arrival, you are welcomed by the lovely staff. Very attentive and can’t do enough for you. They are all very knowledgeable and very good at what they do. I had a delicious latte along with a lovely chocolate cake. Maria was amazing, so friendly and I absolutely loved my scalp treatment and my waves - just what I wanted. I’ve booked again and decided to upgrade my blow dry to a Keratin straight blow dry to reduce the frizz before my holiday. Recommended by Maria. Thank you so much, a real treat and can’t wait to go back next week 😀

This is the third time I've done a keratin treatment on my hair with Adele, she is great and very professional, this last time I asked for a bit of change with a bayalage and she understood what I was looking for. I have a very fine hair and it's been 12 years that I haven't asked for any treatment or colouring in my hair as I was very carefully with my hair but I think if you go for good treatment or less harmful colouring and of course if you are in the right hands your hair will still healthy. Definitely recommend as well get good brands for shampoing your hair as well to keep it hydrated and healthy ☺️

Great experience at Teri Gilham from the moment you enter. A range of complementary beverages to choose from and a relaxing massage chair whilst having your hair washed .My stylist Maria is very personable and always delivers a great cut and blowdry. Occasionally she’ll curl it too if I ask which is amazing. Looking forward to having hair colour done next month 🤩

Being a bit more of a 'mature' client I was so worried about having semi permanent make up in case I hated it but was desperate to have my old eyebrows back. So glad I found Havva. Havva is absolutely incredible at what she does! Her studio is so beautiful and calming, the whole experience there is wonderful and I felt so at ease with her. My lip blush is absolutely stunning and I couldn’t be happier with it, she explained everything so well to me and helped me pick the perfect colours. I’ve just had my top up and love it so much, thank you so much!

Absolutely in love my lip blush! I always go to Havva yearly for my eyebrows and her work is just perfect and she makes me feel beautiful! OBSESSED!! I came across Havva on Instagram a little while ago and instantly became obsessed with her page, her work, and her whole vibe! I’ve been wanting to have semi permanent eyebrows for years now but not been brave enough to take the plunge, until I found Havva. After some initial contact I set out to have my brows done in June giving me time to save up, and then happened across a story on her Instagram page looking for a model for one of her masterclasses, for a combination brow treatment. At a fraction of the price!! I never get to stuff like this in time so I wasn’t hopeful but tried anyway and I was so thrilled to hear back from Havva to say the appointment was mine! Fast forward to this afternoon, I approached the Boujee setting, (definitely felt like I was in London) and was instantly greeted by the beautiful Havva, so sweet and friendly and welcoming! I was quite nervous so that was such a nice start. I then was taken up to the gorgeous treatment room, spotless, classy, calm, great music, and I met Jordan, who was doing a two day Masterclass with Havva to train from Microblading to machine! Jordan and Havva talked me through the whole process and really listened to my needs and expectations before they got started and I completely relaxed! I felt so confident in them that I fully trusted them to do what they thought best and all my worries went away! Havva overlooked the whole thing and Jordan seemed so comfortable it was as if she’d been doing machine brows for way longer than 2 days! I found the whole process so fascinating, so inspiring and I suddenly want to even train with Havva myself!! Once they were finished I was so nervous to see my brows but I am IN LOVE!!! They look SO good and I have a new found confidence ALREADY! So many aspects of this experience made it what it was for me. The place, the vibes, the welcome from Havva, the other girls (even Ellie who does Facials in another treatment room, who came in and chatted, helped put me at ease) being Jordan’s model meant it was more affordable for me, they answered every single question I asked, the after-care package with a cheeky chocolate bar in, and even the hug at the end, it was a very special experience for me and I’m already looking forward to going back for my top up in 7 weeks time! There’s something special about this place… If you’re contemplating Luxe Studio Cosmetics for your brows, LOOK! NO! FURTHER! There’s No stuffiness, no pretentiousness, no awkwardness or uncomfortableness! Just very sweet, very kind, very real people who are bloody good at what they do! And what they love to do at that! Havva is an absolute artist. She’s cool, calm, confident and incredibly talented at what she does. Her studio is really inclusive and welcoming, I felt super comfortable as a man going into the space. Absolutely LOVE my brows, thank you Havva!

Dan has just done a variety of domestic electrical jobs at my house . Top service by Dan and his colleague. Dan turned up when he said ( a bonus lately with lots of trades people) and he had text me earlier to let me know he was on the way. They quickly and efficiently sorted my jobs , both were neat and tidy, very polite. A reasonable price too. Highly recommend this company.

Booked a table here as we were staying in a little cottage in Sheldon, from the moment we stepped in every member of staff was so welcoming and friendly, we ordered the prawn pil pil and olives followed by the pie and fish and chips, the prawns and olives were some of the best we have ever tasted and the mains were absolutely delicious, the beef in the pie literally melted in the mouth, absolutely amazing service, will definitely be back next time we come to visit, can’t recommend enough would give more than five stars if we could 🤩

We stopped off here on a Tuesday evening after a circular walk. We hadn't booked and it was busy but the staff found us a table. We both had drinks and the Beef and Unicorn pie which was very tasty and very filling. Excellent value for money. Other food menu items looked really good and we would definitely return. Service was excellent, very friendly and welcoming. The pub had outdoor seating at the front and beer garden at the rear. Limited parking spaces but can park on streets nearby.

Incredible food, and our servers were brilliant. Lovely cosy pub, but definitely book a table in advance! Highly recommend the slow cooked beef brisket, and don't miss the gigantic ginger pudding for dessert.

Stopping by with no reservations with a pram I popped in to make sure we could get a table and the staff were welcoming and accommodating allowing us to choose the table right for us, we chose the snug as to not disturb other customers. We were not forgotten about with orders taken, drinks arrived and food ordered taken and brought out within a short time. The food itself was tasty and a good portion size at a reasonable price. Parking is free outside but is limited but we had no problem arriving at 6pm

My young son has had his hair cut twice at Dudley's now and they have been amazing with him. His hair has been cut beautifully each time and even had good advice about how to deal with his double crown. Thankyou Another amazing visit to Dudley's. Absolutely amazing service. They managed to fit in the kids so their hair was cut at the same time. Excellent service, two very happy children with their new hairstyles.

I absolutely love this salon, everyone is so welcoming and friendly, the service is first class. If you want a top class cut and colour you will not be disappointed visiting Dudley’s. Iv been seeing Milly for my colour and extension for 2 years now, she is absolutely amazing at what she does. I highly recommend this hair salon to everyone.

From December 2023: It was my first time coming to this salon today, the staff are all really lovely. My hair hadn’t been cut for 15 months and it needed sorting badly as I got fed up with it being so long and knotty etc. I am really pleased with my hair, not sure of the lady’s name but she did a wonderful job. I will be returning and will recommend this salon to family and friends ! X

Lovely little cafe/takeaway in this gorgeous village! Being used by locals - always a good sign. Small and quirky! Charmingly friendly chap doing the 'hosting'! I'm not one for going into cafes on my own but I would suggest this is a place that people on their own would feel comfortable. I feel he would happily chat the day away with anyone ☺️. Small shop at the front with seating behind. Lovely, quirky little conservatory on the back. Nice little garden, up some steps,with a chicken or two wandering round. I've knocked one star off as there wasn't any cake I could eat today ( my fault, not yours - allergies and a good dose of radiotherapy😕) so can't really judge them. I'll be happy to up it to 5 stars if, next time we come, I can eat something.👍🏻 5 star food hygiene score. Good, no nonsense menu. Very reasonably priced. Great spot to pick if either out rambling that way or on a scenic drive. Gorgeous village. Definitely worth a visit👍🏻

Really lovely tea rooms, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly and our border collie soon settled down for a nap in the conservatory where we ate our lunch. We both had the Derbyshire Oatcake with butchers sausage and onion marmalade. There were two thick and delicious sausages and plenty of marmalade. The dressed salad was lovely too and the homemade coleslaw really nice. We'd walked to Ashford in the Water from Bakewell and happened upon the tearooms by chance. Would recommend.

Having had a lovely walk over to Monsel Head and back we were after a quick bite to eat and had seen this place when parking up earlier. Lovely service, very quaint and busy but there was a table available. Service was quick and very friendly, prices are very reasonable and portion sizes were great - even my son was full which is rare. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Lovely Pub. Stopped for lunch, had the crayfish crab cakes, were lovely. Separate sandwich lunch menu. Had two lovely local beers which went down very well. Wife’s wine was also lovely and presented very well. Had a little one with us and staff were friendly offering colouring equipment and a high chair. Kids menu also. Plenty of free parking just type in your registration. Lots of outside tables as well which would be perfect in the summer.

My husband and I stayed at the Ashford Arms on 1st Jan 2025 after visiting friends further south for NY and wanted to visit Chatsworth on our way home to the NE. Picked Ashford for its reviews and proximity to Chatsworth. We were not disappointed. Lovely, well appointed room, ate in the bar and we had (separately) a great quinoa salad and a steak, both were excellent and just what we wanted. A good nights sleep and another excellent breakfast in the morning; poached eggs for him and pancakes with compote for me. Service through out was professional and attentive. Can't rate it highly enough. Read pamphlet in the loos about the chain and they definitely seem to have the right ethos for a strong and successful company. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

We stopped by and were really impressed. The location is fantastic, and the pub has a lovely, welcoming decor. The menu is expansive, with plenty of options — including vegetarian choices — and the food didn’t disappoint. The pie was packed full of tender beef, and the beer selection was excellent. Leah was great — friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about both the food and drinks. They accommodated us as walk-ins without any fuss, which was a bonus. Would love to come back and stay overnight next time!

We didn’t stay here on our holiday in the Peak District, but would definitely consider it next time. We went to the pub twice during our last trip, and it has been one of the best pubs I’ve been to in the UK. The staff was beyond friendly/accommodating to my family (kids and my four-legged pal), and the food was great. The Sunday roast was amazing, and they actually took the time to season the sides like the potatoes and parsnips. The banana mousse was also really great way to top off the meal. Will definitely go again on my next holiday.

We stayed a couple of nights and ate a meal both evenings. What a treat! The rooms were first class. Extremely comfortable, spacious with White Company toiletries. From the moment we walked through the door the service was exemplary. We felt welcome and there was no delay at check-in. The evening meals were delicious and there was a good selection on the menu. A very relaxing atmosphere. A top class pub and hotel well deserving of our 5* rating. We can’t wait to return!
