It was an absolute dream to work with Jennys Events Decor. Not only was Jenny willing to work with me, but she listened to my color schemes, suggested decoration ideas, emailed me pictures, and put together a package in the cost range that I was willing to spend. On the day of the event she and her team worked so hard to make a reality out of what we discussed and even went above and beyond to exceeding expectations. She was so sweet, so genuine, and so amazing at what she did. I cannot tell you the number of people who complimented the decor that night because I lost count. We wouldn’t have had a wedding without Katie! We booked Katie for the 6-week wedding coordinator package, mainly because we wanted to secure Katie herself for the day. We needed someone to help us catch anything we may have missed leading up to the wedding and, as we were getting married at home, to ensure that we and our parents could enjoy the day without any stress. About five weeks before the wedding, we had an in-person meeting with Katie to iron out all the details, which immediately put us at ease. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and calm demeanor reassured us that we were in safe hands. Everything was going smoothly until a week before the wedding when disaster struck. The marquee company we had chosen went into administration. Not only were we relying on them for the marquee, but also for the flooring, tables and chairs, lighting, and more – the whole wedding day was suddenly in jeopardy. As you can imagine, everyone involved was mortified, and “stressed” doesn’t even begin to cover it. But to our amazement, Katie remained calm and truly kicked into gear. She sourced everything we originally wanted from individual vendors in no time, showing just how resourceful and determined she is. Thanks to her incredible efforts, our dream wedding was saved, and we ended up having the best day of our lives. On the day itself, Katie orchestrated everything with such grace and precision. She made us feel so relaxed and reassured throughout, handling every detail behind the scenes so we could focus on celebrating with our loved ones. We genuinely couldn't have pulled off our wedding without the wonderful Katie. As two PhD candidates frantically finishing our theses with only two months until our wedding date, we were completely overwhelmed by everything. Katie immediately understood our needs and stepped in with remarkable efficiency, handling everything from venue coordination to dealing with suppliers while we focused on our academic deadlines. Katie's expertise in Oxford venues, vendors, and logistics is truly unparalleled. She was able to get everything together in double-quick time. We hired Katie as an On the Day Coordinator but she was so much more than that. Katie’s service included taking over supplier contact three weeks before the wedding plus being there for the whole day to ensure everything went perfectly. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We knew from our first meeting that Katie would provide us with a trusted pair of hands and a second set of eyes to help the day run smoothly. What we didn’t realise, was how Katie would remove so much stress and free up so much brain space in the lead up to the wedding. She handled everything with grace and efficiency, and we always felt that Katie wouldn’t let anything go wrong. We had a very difficult few weeks in the lead up to the wedding due to personal reasons. Katie was sensitive to this and took away as much stress as she could. Additionally, when things did go wrong on the day (small errors from other suppliers or guests) she handled these expertly. We can’t thank Katie enough, and she is our biggest tip to any couples planning a wedding - we are so grateful we chose her.

We tasked Venue View with capturing our fleet of luxury vessels on the River Thames and we are absolutely delighted with the results. Keith was fantastic throughout the entire process, from planning and shooting the tours through to helping us perfect them ahead of launch. They are proving to be a hugely effective tool in our marketing and sales process, and we will certainly be using them again for any additional tours in the future.

Honest review on our amazing venue We always knew we wanted an outdoor/woodland wedding. So when Simon proposed we immediately started looking. There are a few options around the country and we did visit a few, however Lilas wood just kept drawing us in. We will admit that the epic tree house was definitely a factor from the website. Unfortunately the tree house no longer exist because some tool decided to burn it down! But what they have put in place is in our opinion so much better. Lovingly referred to as the ‘Mandip’. It’s beautiful. THE VENUE: In its bare state it is still wonderful but all dressed up it’s magical! Faye, Sam & their amazing team transform it into a mesmerising space. We called it our “sensory wedding”, because it’s not just about the look, it’s the smell of leaves, bark and burning wood, the relaxed feeling you instantly get being outside and the friendly atmosphere your family and friends bring and all the woodland wedding staff. The staff truly felt like an extension of the people we invited. The handmade details… you have to see to appreciate but, a bar made of doors, outdoor seating, very cool toilets! (Yes there are toilets!) and so much more. COMMUNICATION: We saw a few reviews concerning communication. Both me & Simon are pretty relaxed people, if your having a woodland wedding ‘normally’ you maybe too. Faye & Sam are a family run business and also have other jobs! That was made clear to us at the beginning, so did I expect a response within 2hrs? no! I got any responses in my opinion within a reasonable timeframe. They also have the lovely Lauren who answers your emails too. They are pros at this, trust the process and be patient it’s worth it. ENTERTAINMENT: Definitely have Dan the DJ we thought he was great and our guests loved his music. We also hired the Alpacas for a few hours. Faye arranged this for us. The guests thought it was hilarious. Alan the Alpaca is a little mardy and may grab a bite of your bouquet but absolutely adorable! OTHER: For decoration we did this ourselves however in my ditsy moments I didn’t realise that Faye actually offers this service, had I realised I would have definitely gone with her. Although I noticed little touches I wasn’t expecting (the arch 😍) Food we went with the Golden Whisk which is recommended by the site. It was delicious. We did have some comments from guests about one of the members of staff from that company but aside from that we personally thought they were fantastic & friendly. We had our own florist, evening food & glamping company but that was because they were friends or friends of friends. Faye has a whole list of suppliers to help you out. All in all you should most definitely see this venue, book this venue and have the best wedding you will ever have and your guests will ever attend. We got married on May 21st 2022 and our guests are still talking about it now. It was everything and more. Thank you Faye, Sam, Lauren & the rest of you awesome bunch. Absolutely amazing! The whole experience from arrival to entertainment was really something different and felt like a hidden magical fairytale. We came as guests to our friends wedding and it was all just so beautiful. The venue is such a great concept and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The adaptability of the venue meant we didn't feel like we were being rushed around like you do normally in a hotel and with everything nearby you didn't feel like you were missing out on anything either. The firepits, bar, photo booth caravan, outdoor games, DJ, and dinner setup were all ten out of ten! Highly recommend if you're looking for a wedding venue that's truly magical

This is the most stunning venue for a non-traditional wedding, under the beautiful beech trees, in communion with nature. My husband and I had the BEST day, made so by the WW team who are a dream to work with. Highly recommended!

What a truly wonderful day! The whole venue is the most perfect and idillic place for a wedding. From teepee to stretch tent, from gin bar to wishing pond! By far our favourite part of the day was seeing the looks of amazement and dream-like awe on our guests faces as they explored the venue. As the light changes throughout the day the whole woodland is constantly transforming. Faye, Sam and the team rotate the venue seamlessly and effortlessly around you to create an ever changing and constantly adapting space that is perfect for every part of a wedding. The staff are kind, generous and nothing is too much for them to handle or too great a request. They anticipated everything we could possible need before we even new we needed it and made sure the day went off without a single hitch. Faye even turned seamstress at one point following a minor dress malfunction! Now, weeks later our guests are still buzzing about our woodland wedding and sending us an endless stream of beautiful photos that they took.
