Fantastic service and suppliers for our wedding in May 2025. Great communication and support throughout whole process. Annabel and her husband were friendly and relaxed during the games. Photo booth is a great addition as you get to take home photo album straight away. Great and ridiculous props - everything merry wedding guests could ask for! 10/10. Cannot recommend Annabel and Dolly Dimples highly enough! From start to finish they were fantastic. We hired the retro photo booth for our wedding. When I first enquired Annabel was very responsive and happy to answer any and all queries. On the day set up was quick and efficient and all ready to go once evening guests arrived. The props were great, everyone loved it and the team were amazing throughout the night helping out taking the shots and putting together our guest book. There are a lot of wedding directories available, however 5 Star is in my opinion one of the leading ones. It's an excellent resource for couples looking for luxury wedding suppliers who are trusted and well vetted. It also provides a source of inspiration through the various blog posts and articles.

I have been a member of this platform for a good few years now. I work with Tai and Yasmine on a regular basis. They are always on hand and get back to me promptly if I need to edit my profile etc. Tai is extremely knowledgeable in his field and has always been extremely helpful with great business advice. I found @5starweddings to be a very reliable and beneficial page. I'm a new bride and I just love their content. Their posts are lovely and have a different touch. Most are weddings with new and original ideas. Their website is very useful. It includes amazing destinations, dresses, cakes... so to all soon to be brides they got you covered.

Lots of our guest commented on how stunning the arrangements were, and they became such a standout feature of the day. From our first conversation, it was clear she genuinely cared about making our day as beautiful as possible. She took the time to really understand our vision, and then completely nailed the brief. She even created a thoughtful, detailed mood board that brought the entire floral concept to life before the day itself, which gave us so much confidence and excitement. Emily was fantastic, I had a few calls with florists/decorators, and I clicked with Emily immediately. I got such a good feeling from her and she absolutely understood the brief! We had a tight deadline for our wedding and Emily got a mood board over to us so quickly, it was exactly what I’d asked for and she included a few alternative choices which we ended up going with. I did the table numbers myself but Emily was still so helpful and gave me some tips on how to tie it all in together. Her expertise and professionalism showed every step of the way, I gave her “artistic licence” when setting up the venue and she didn’t disappoint! An extra special touch, my bouquet and bridal flowers were grown in her garden. I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you so much xx

We hired DJ Steve for our Pearl Anniversary celebration. He turned up promptly and set up quickly and with no fuss at all. Steve was very accommodating with regard to my wife's special requirements regarding noise levels and flashing lights. His music selection played a big part in making the night a success. Booked Steve for 25th Anniversary party. Went out of his way before party and on the night to ensure we had a great evening. We wanted 80's soul and he played all requests. We were able to use his mike for speeches and I even sang to my husband. Fantastic night. He had everyone up dancing and the floor was filled all night. Brilliant DJ, and lovely guy, would highly recommend. Everyone has been saying what a great DJ we had.

I left booking a wedding decorator to the last minute because of Coronavirus wedding reception guidelines. Fortunately Roseline B events were available on the day of our wedding. A big thank you to Truly Lush events for all their hard work on my husbands 60th birthday party. Keisha and her daughter worked so hard ensuring all the guests had a drink, keeping on top of clearing empty glasses and bottles. Putting food in the oven and ensuring the buffet table was always topped up. We also had an area for Vegan food which they managed very well. I would totally recommend using this service so that hosts can sit back and enjoy their party and chat to guests.

From the moment I spoke to Keshia the manager of this organisation ……I was hooked. Both my husband and I (who were trying to arrange a party) we’re hugely impressed by both her professionalism and knowledge. This impression has never wavered. The weeks leading up to the event were stressful but “Made so much less so” by Keshia’s calmness, patience, professionalism and communication. Nothing was ever too much, early morning or late at night …… to put my mind at rest. Regularly Keshia summarised what we had agreed either between us all or between professionals. She liaised and fed back to us on a regular basis. On the night Keshia and her team were superb. Approachable, fun but always professional. Serving, mingling with guests, organising and at the end if the evening clearing up. We had one or two bumps in the road, however these were not foreseeable or any fault of this company, but she has continued to support us and manage these issues. Our wedding was 07/10/2023, we chose Alswick after attending an open day and feeling so welcomed by Kay and her team. The venue itself is beautiful, the grounds and outdoor space meant our guests would have space to move around throughout the day. We were kept up to date with regular emails and meetings on the run up to the big day, Ellie was fantastic on the day and helped organise all of our chosen suppliers, she also checked in with both me and my husband throughout the day. The accommodation on site was also so beautiful, it was nice to have a chosen few stay with us. I couldn’t recommend Alswick enough for the venue and friendly staff, they were helpful with supplier options and always on hand to answer questions. Alswick barn is a beautiful setting whichever season you chose for your wedding day.

The Barn at Alswick what can we say…it is home to the most wonderful staff with a totally stunning venue with beautiful scenery. We were totally stunned from start to finish, the support was amazing and none of our crazy ideas were too crazy! Kay & Ellie are simply fabulous they made us feel so ease through the planning stages and especially in the days leading up to our special day 31/05/24. On the day we were treated like absolute royalty the team were checking in with us and making sure we had everything we needed and were having the best day. Hand on heart there is no better venue than this. An awesome addition to the already spectacular venue was the glamping. We were able to stay onsite with some of our nearest and dearest. They all said how cool it was to stay in the tents and then to wake up the next morning for a debrief of our special was so lovely. We are so grateful for the team and all the support they’ve given to us through the planning stages and cannot thank them enough for facilitating our special day. They are definitely specialists in their field and would recommend the team and venue to anyone looking for a day all about you! Mr & Mrs Rogers

We got married at The Barn at Alswick in mid-October and we couldn't have asked for a better day! The venue is absolutely beautiful both inside and out. We had so many compliments from our guests on how great the venue looked! We had decorated it with flowers, candles etc. but we could have easily left it as it was and it still would've looked so stunning. The space inside works so well for the whole day - right from the ceremony through to the evening reception and the staff on the day were so quick at turning everything around seamlessly. The grounds are also stunning and gave us so many great photo opportunities! We could've spent the whole afternoon in the gardens - there were so many photo options to choose from. As the Bride, I got ready at the venue and the space upstairs was perfect for this. Plenty of room for me and my bridal party, and the little extras like the Brunch package was a nice touch. The service from the whole team on the day and leading up to the wedding was impeccable. Abbie and her team were a dream to work with - they handled everything to co-ordinate our suppliers and no detail was left unchecked, which meant in the final weeks leading up to the wedding and on the day itself we had nothing to stress about and we knew everything was organised. They were also so helpful during the planning stage to pull everything together and answer our questions. And on the day itself, we could just relax and enjoy the day with our guests. I would highly recommend The Barn - it really is the most perfect wedding venue.
