My husband and I got married in July 2024 and we had the most magical day. The whole team went above and beyond, not only on the day but throughout the planning of the wedding. The team really feel like a family that welcome you with open arms. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were so supportive, even with some of our more bizarre ideas. They have so much knowledge and were able to guide us through everything. The venue is stunning and the grounds are magical. I had no doubt that our wedding day was going to be the best day of our lives, but the team at the barn helped our wedding day to go far beyond our expectations. Adding the fairy lights against the natural beams really did feel like something out of a fairy tale. Our friends and family have told us repeatedly how beautiful the wedding and the barn was. We feel truly lucky to have such precious memories in such a beautiful place.

Our wedding was 07/10/2023, we chose Alswick after attending an open day and feeling so welcomed by Kay and her team. The venue itself is beautiful, the grounds and outdoor space meant our guests would have space to move around throughout the day. We were kept up to date with regular emails and meetings on the run up to the big day, Ellie was fantastic on the day and helped organise all of our chosen suppliers, she also checked in with both me and my husband throughout the day. The accommodation on site was also so beautiful, it was nice to have a chosen few stay with us. I couldn’t recommend Alswick enough for the venue and friendly staff, they were helpful with supplier options and always on hand to answer questions. Alswick barn is a beautiful setting whichever season you chose for your wedding day.

All we can say is WOW! What a venue! We got married at The Barn at Alswick last month and we had the most incredible experience!! Claire and the team were incredible from start to finish! The venue is simply stunning and the grounds for the photos as Bride & Bride were just incredible! We were so well looked after and would recommend the venue to everybody that will listen!! The Barn at Alswick what can we say…it is home to the most wonderful staff with a totally stunning venue with beautiful scenery. We were totally stunned from start to finish, the support was amazing and none of our crazy ideas were too crazy! Kay & Ellie are simply fabulous they made us feel so ease through the planning stages and especially in the days leading up to our special day 31/05/24. On the day we were treated like absolute royalty the team were checking in with us and making sure we had everything we needed and were having the best day. Hand on heart there is no better venue than this. An awesome addition to the already spectacular venue was the glamping. We were able to stay onsite with some of our nearest and dearest. They all said how cool it was to stay in the tents and then to wake up the next morning for a debrief of our special was so lovely. We are so grateful for the team and all the support they’ve given to us through the planning stages and cannot thank them enough for facilitating our special day. They are definitely specialists in their field and would recommend the team and venue to anyone looking for a day all about you! Mr & Mrs Rogers

We got married at The Barn at Alswick in mid-October and we couldn't have asked for a better day! The venue is absolutely beautiful both inside and out. We had so many compliments from our guests on how great the venue looked! We had decorated it with flowers, candles etc. but we could have easily left it as it was and it still would've looked so stunning. The space inside works so well for the whole day - right from the ceremony through to the evening reception and the staff on the day were so quick at turning everything around seamlessly. The grounds are also stunning and gave us so many great photo opportunities! We could've spent the whole afternoon in the gardens - there were so many photo options to choose from. As the Bride, I got ready at the venue and the space upstairs was perfect for this. Plenty of room for me and my bridal party, and the little extras like the Brunch package was a nice touch. The service from the whole team on the day and leading up to the wedding was impeccable. Abbie and her team were a dream to work with - they handled everything to co-ordinate our suppliers and no detail was left unchecked, which meant in the final weeks leading up to the wedding and on the day itself we had nothing to stress about and we knew everything was organised. They were also so helpful during the planning stage to pull everything together and answer our questions. And on the day itself, we could just relax and enjoy the day with our guests. I would highly recommend The Barn - it really is the most perfect wedding venue.
