All staff are fabulous! There receptionists are pleasant to talk to and kind. The nursing staff are second to none. The veterinary surgeons are professional, caring, very knowledgeable, gentle and sympathetic. Our cats have had more than 9 lives because of these people. Veterinary surgeon Modestas has known our cats for over 16 years. He has nurtured and loved our twin gingers and saved Sox many times with his fantastic knowledge of medication and procedures since he was 2 years old. We are so very grateful for everything he has done. We recently sadly, said goodbye to Sox. The care and respect for him and us was very touching. We can, without any hesitation recommend Kingston Vets in Yeovil.

Lovely vets. My dog has, unfortunately, needed a lot of various treatments over the last few years and I have been completely happy each and every time. All the staff are very friendly, helpful, kind, considerate and knowledgeable. I feel confident that the care they give my dog is as good as I could ever hope for.

Posted on behalf of Angela Walker Peacock and Fly. A very big thank you to David for all he's done for Fly over the last 10 years (he has done her proud). She has had a number of major problems; diagnosed and dealt with expertly and explained meticulously. Our consultations were never hurries, no matter how busy he happened to be. Katie has helped with Fly's physiotherapy and advice with how to manage her back problem, for which I am extremely grateful.

Really pleased with Frieda and I's experience here. Vet was amazing. Loved the conversation and mass of information he clearly had to give about how best to help my nans tortoise. Very calm environment for people and pets - having people waiting outside the building was preferable. Parking was easy and the place was quite easy to find too

Recently took my cat here after a referral from my vet. My cat looked ok and was eating and my vet picked up an irregular heartbeat. The day I took him I was not expecting to be told he either needs putting to sleep that day or a procedure to help him as it was worse than we thought. We chose the procedure. Alice the Specialist was lovely and talked me through everything throughout the whole process and other members of staff I saw were also friendly and helpful. I now have my precious boy back thanks to Alice and her team so can't thank them enough for giving me more time with my little boy.

My gorgeous baby Luna had BOAS surgery and she was spayed in the same day; Dr Diogo it’s a brilliant vet! He and the team took care of her soo well! Caroline gave me all the support and she made sure Luna received all the attention there! On the 3rd day Luna was back to normal despite she had all these procedures done in few hours! Thank you for taking care of my baby!

A very clean and professional environment. The first points of contact, the receptionists were very polite and efficient. When we met Alba (surgeon) and her assistant, I was super impressed by how polite and thorough they were. I feel more than reassured that she will carry out the surgery on my hound to a high standard. I will report back after this is done shortly. The practice has plenty of parking, along with a number of disabled bays. The appearance of the practice is maintained to a high standard. Oh, and I nearly forgot there is a free tea and coffee bar with biscuits available 😋

The after care has been brilliant too with excellent service from staff over the phone and by email. I would thoroughly recommend Priory Vets!

My beautiful baby cane corso Skye was treated by priory today, she had a laparoscopic (key hole) spray. From the minute I dropped her off to the minute I picked her up she was cared for. Thank you to all the nurses and vets involved today. Special thanks to Lillie for looking after her post op. I was such a nervous wreck and I couldn’t have trusted anyone else to do this. There isn’t a price on the love a dog gives you. They also checked her ears for me and sent off some swabs to find out what infection she has, and gave her a steroid cream to help her, again very grateful. I have a sleepy, whiny girl but she is on the road to recovering and I’m pleased she is home and the op went well. Thank you also to the nurses at highcliffe. I have been with priory for nearly a year and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you.

I would like to thank Priory for their fast-and efficient care to my dog Wellow , not knowing she was very ill , just a bit off colour , we booked an appointment with the practice, the vet explained she was very anaemic, after being advised to go to Christchurch at once, she was seen at once , i left without the dog for the vets to investigate the problem, they advised me after a short time that a large operation was required it was serious and being a older dog there was a high risk we could lose her but she made it through, her aftercare and communication was truly excellent , theres nothing i can fault them for, so a very big thanks to all concerned . After op and now photos

Excellent service at a time anxieties were high. Calm, friendly staff. My dog was quite relaxed with the staff, most of the time. Reception was clean and tidy with lots of information. We were kept informed of the reason for delay in seeing vet straight way. If my dog is happy, then so am I.

Emergency out-of-hours service. Staff lovely and immediately took my dog to examine and then informed us of possible causes. To be truthful we thought we had lost her! Clean environment. Just one opinion, our dog was not insured and final bill was horrendous after a 12 hour stay overnight. Next day we picked her up to take to our normal Vets. I know you cannot put a price on your animal's health but can understand why so many people dump pets as they can't afford the cost of Veterinary fees nor the insurance. Thank goodness for credit cards but we will be paying for this treatment for the next year or so.

If you’re ever worried about your pet out of hours this is the place to take them. Receptionist was so patient and lovely with me, as I was crying over the phone. Upon arrival she was so nice and understood that our staffy Izzy was nervous of dogs and arranged for the vet to collect us from the car. The vet took decisive action and was upfront and totally honest about costs, chances of survival and what would be best for us. He gave our staffy a dose of steroids that no doubt got her through the weekend ready for our usual vets on Monday morning. She has since been diagnosed with immune-mediated hemolytic anemia, and she is incredibly poorly. We’re still not sure if she will pull through, but the vet was also very honest about a blood transfusion and the cost of at least £5000. He put our minds at rest in that we are doing everything we can and he saved her little life over that weekend for sure. The charge was very reasonable, which was on a Sunday with steroids, antibiotics and anti sickness. So so glad we took a chance on them. Thank you so much and thank you for being human, we have found other vets, especially emergency ones quite the opposite.

My 15 year old cat, who we already knew had an ongoing illness, suddenly became much worse today. Being a Sunday and tomorrow Bank Holiday Monday, I was referred to Bournemouth/Wimborne “Vets Now” Emergency Hospital. They were wonderful! Yes, they were busy with many incoming emergencies but that was to be expected. After a while we were seen by an extremely compassionate vet who made a examination of Bamboo and came to the same conclusion, euthanasia was needed to avoid any further suffering. The whole process was explained clearly and without fuss which I appreciated. Medication was prepared and we proceeded to let Boo-cat go gently and peacefully to sleep. I put all future arrangements in the vets hands, as individual cremation and return of his ashes could be arranged at the same time. When you first take on responsibility for the life of an animal you hope for fun and happiness together for many years. The happiness you gain from their companionship and trust has to be repaid at the end of life too, by being aware of their pain and giving them a peaceful end to a life well lived. A huge “Thank You” to everyone at ‘Vets Now’ Wimborne this evening, who cared so well for me and for my lovely black cat who was such a good boy for so long. Good memories Bamboo. Be at peace xx

Have just been to this vet for the 1st time with my kittens. The amazing vet had both kittens so relaxed. Darla had a bad start to life but sang her way through her visit. As for Drusilla she was her ever demanding self, forcing headbutt's and treats. The kitten pack is amazing with a little teddy. The calming towel provided is a great touch and works a dream. I have found this vet to be good value for money. We were not rushed through our appointment and staff members show the love they have for animals.

Hillside Vets have been absolutely fantastic so far with our puppy. We first took her there at 13wks, and have been there for several visits since then as part of their brilliant Pet Plan. Our pup loves coming here and can't get our of the car fast enough! The staff give so much love and attention to our little girl, and we feel really at ease and confident in using their services for many years to come. The staff are knowledgeable, caring, warm, and just can't give enough every time, no matter how big or small our query may be. Their social media team is also amazing and we love seeing the behind-the-scenes on their Facebook posts! What a fantastic local vet clinic with such a great team.

I’ve lost count of the years we’ve been with Hillside Vets. Started with our rabbit Bob who sadly had to have his life ended. Now they care for Trevor our Jack Russell X who is soon to be 13 and Daisy our Chihuahua who is 6. All the staff are kind, loving & courteous and that’s just the owners! 😂 You can tell they love animals and even though Trevor is nervous they are so kind and reassure them both so well. I would absolutely recommend Hillside. They may not be the cheapest but the care and attention they give to both pet and owner is sublime. So thank you Hillside for all that you do for my pets & for all that come your way. You are all AMAZING! 🤩 Merry furry Christmas 🎅 🎄 🎁 xxxxx❤️

Edit March 2024 - I wanted to extend my review following recent months. It's mainly to say a HUGE thank you to Keith, Bobby, Gemma, Georgia, Helen, Amber and everyone at Hillside for caring for Fudge. He's now crossed the rainbow bridge but during the weeks-months when Fudge's health started to decline he got nothing less than the best care and support from you. Right until his last breath your empathy helped me get through that horrible day when he left me. I'm just relief you're my boys' vets and I'll be eternally grateful for this. Feb 2023- Fudge and Oreo love going to Hillside, from the moment we arrive at the carpark they're pulling me to get in. The reception staff and nurses are so friendly and make a huge fuss which they just love and of course its all the treats...ssshhh don't tell everyone but you need to catch Amber or Beccie on duty ☺️ Firstly it's reassuring to know that the vet seeing you is familiar with the case if it's been ongoing. All vets are amazing. Oreo who needs regular vet visits due to multiple issues sees Bobby or Keith most of the time but soon you get to know them all. They're kind and empathetic. Very friendly and professional. Problems are explained, options and relevant consequences or outcomes discussed. Very recently Fudge had a seizure later in the evening, we rang them to them aware of the emergency, Gemma and Chris made sure they were ready to see him and examine him straight away. Gemma helped me get Fudge, Lab of 32k, out of the car, he was just coming out of the seizure so was very disoriented and Gemma was very caring and loving with him. I really couldn't be happier with Hillside, nothing is a bother. Prescriptions are dispensed quickly, insurance admin is done promptly. Always discussing everything with me and taking their time. Really the best vet practice 🐾❤️
