I needed an emergency appointment on bank holiday for my cat and this was the only one place open for emergency in my area. Helped my cat who struggled with passing urine. The vet was very helpful and caring. Definitely recommend this place.

Damory vets are truly amazing. They are so helpful and friendly. They are very understanding when I tell them I don't drive so will need a weekend appointment. They are very patient with all the questions and don't make you feel like you have to rush. They are so good with my cats and very gentle. They have a separate waiting room for cats and dogs and provide blankets to cover your cat carriers so your cats are less stress when waiting. I would recommend them every time.

My cats Merlin and Gus had their injections here at Damory, Blandford and the team are just so lovely. The waiting room was clean and I love that they offered towels sprayed with Feliway. There’s also a place off the ground to place your cat carrier to give that extra comfort for your cat. I’ve also signed up for the monthly pet plan. They’ve assured me that they will send text reminders for worm/flea/yearly vaccination too which is great! 🐱

Annual checkups for Roobarb and Captain Custard. They're both very cautious of new humans and the vet saw was so patient and caring; neither animal seems to have suffered and lasting trauma!

We are new to the area and took our cat here. The lovely people here were just so kind and caring and explained what they were doing every step of the way. If you need a vet look no further just go here....they are perfect Thank you Damory

Natterjacks Vets, Bournemouth

Rating: 4.8 (483) Price Level:
Have used Natterjacks Vets Bournemouth for many years now. Really great vets. Staff are friendly and helpful. Took our two cats Lily and Honey recently for their yearly health check and vaccinations. All went well although Lily had a little accident in her carrier on the way there bless her. The lovely vet I think her name is Katie was so good about it and cleaned her up. She was lovely and gave them a good check over. Lily has some gum disease and Katie recommend a toothpaste for her. Honey was a bit naughty which is unusual for as normally she is brilliant at the vets. Katie was so good with her and patient. Would recommend this place although I think they are fully booked I'm not surprised as they have a good reputation.

We have been visiting Natterjacks for years with our pooch. Fortunately for us, we don't have to visit very often as our dog is strong and healthy but when we do, we always find them to be professional, kind and most of all caring. Our last visit was for annual vaccinations, our appointment was on time, our pooch was put at ease and didn't appear to realise he'd had an injection. I can't recommend Natterjacks enough, a brilliant Vets

Couldn’t recommend Natterjacks enough. Our vet is Vicki, who is the absolute best. She’s so kind & knows my dog inside out, all of his lumps and bumps etc. She reassures us & puts us at ease. Going to the vets isn’t always a pleasant experience but it is with Natterjacks. Thank you, all!

I've been a customer of Natterjacks since 2012 with my first greyhound. In the years since I've taken not only my own dogs there but many others for friends and family. The practice is well organised and well staffed with huge knowledge in the vets, nurses, and assistant. They retain the 'family' feel from the early days and their empathy for you and your pet is first class, with follow up calls for your pet's wellbeing and progress after treatment. They keep up to date with the best of the new treatments ie K-lazer and medication for the best outcomes. Will always highly recommend Natterjacks

Unfortunately we had to say our last goodbyes to our elderly pug on Monday. After a rapid decline in health over the weekend, I was offered an emergency appointment only 2 hours after I phoned. My vet was Louise. She assessed the situation and ran through all of our options in order to help our loyal companion. We had to come to the decision when we got home that the kindest option for Elsie was to let her go. There are no words that will express the gratitude that I have for Louise, for making what was the hardest day of my life so far, bearable. She made it so peaceful, so calm and managed to make it a comforting experience all whilst validating our decision and emotions. By far the best vet I have ever dealt with over the years and I will always look back on this experience and say “Thankyou Louise” and I am sure that Elsie is out there somewhere equally grateful for making her last few moments so tranquil. Thankyou. Thankyou. Thankyou.

These vets are the best I have used. All of the vets and staff are so friendly, caring and compassionate. We recently had to have our handsome boy put to sleep our dog and ourselves could not have been in better hands. A big thank you to all of you for everything.

Always amazing service. Quick & swift action removed a 2.5 cm piece of hawthorn from my dogs foot! 😬😬😬 Great vets, highly recommend. 🐕😻🐕😻

Always has the pets' best interest at heart, rather than the profit driven experience I've had at other multi national owned vetinary surgeries. Good common sense approach, kind and caring.

Exceptional Veterinary Practice. Although I have been a client for many years, my dog Jack seldom needs care. Recently however he was suffering a gland problem.. Jack is an imported rescue and the BVA recommend a safeguarding procedure (blood test) prior to any surgery in such cases due to possible Brucellosis infection. I was uncertain of the benefits, but was able to have a practical and sensible discussion with Giles, beforehand Jack had the procedure under sedation & Giles whipped out a loose back tooth too. Jack is not insured, but I was given an estimate of cost at our initial consultation which matched our final invoice. Thank you Giles, it seems to have done the trick and Jack has forgiven you (almost!)

Spring Corner Veterinary Centre
4 Knyveton Rd, Bournemouth BH1 3QN, UK | Veterinary Care P: 01202 555770
Rating: 4.7 (613) Price Level:
Love spring corner, have been bringing our cats here for years, and even through some tough visits, the whole team has been extremely welcoming, empathetic, and showing real care and concern for animal and owner. Some very slight downsides are a lack of seating in the waiting area, and it can get really busy and noisey around the reception area, especially for later in the day appointments so maybe avoid these times if you have a shy or nervous pet. Also, the phone lines can get very busy, be patient, as the desk team is working really hard to help as many people as the can. That aside, we wouldn't go anywhere else.
Rating: 5 / 5
Excellent. The only vet clinic who could vaccinate my dog at a very reasonable price. I phoned about 6 clinics. None of them could do it before February next year. Spring corner is a good vet practice.

I take all of my animals here. Always get seen fast and they never seem over priced compared to other vets ive previously been to. All staff seem nice but the ladies on reception are really lovely. I recently had my dog put to sleep and they were so kind and caring and personal yet professional. Highly recommend

The best vets I have ever worked with. They have shown compassion and care for my pet and gone beyond normal practices and standards of a veterinary practice to save my pets life. I highly recommend this practice, and i will be forever grateful for their care and empathy.

Our Tommy stuck a spikelet up his nose as we were queuing to get on the ferry back to France. We arrived at the clinic and everyone was absolutely superb with him and with us. Tommy is quite an excitable young dog and can be snappy when scared. No one judged him or us for it. They got his spikelet out and gave us clear instructions that they adapted to our ferry journey the next day. We are truly happy to have had our Tommy sorted by this team of very helpful people. Thanks !

This veterinary practice is not my usual vets (we are registered with one about 15 miles from home) but I needed my 13 year old dog to be seen quickly so took her locally to Vets4Pets Holes Bay. We saw a vet named Dan (NOT the owner, another Dan) who was absolutely brilliant. Very sadly, our dog was PTS but Dan was brilliant, before, during and after. We spoke at length, he didn’t rush me, time wasn’t an issue, he understood my concerns, he listened and advised with compassion. Absolutely brilliant vet. So on this one occasion we needed this surgery , the vet we saw was exemplary. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Vicky Effemy the vet nurse and also the receptionist (don’t know her name) I spoke to that morning, were incredibly comforting for which I am very grateful.

Dan Makin is an exceptional vet, we wont go anywhere else - Max our cat has been described as well behaved and easy to handle by Dan - but this is down to Dan understanding Max and his needs because he is not like this with other vets we have used prior to moving to Dorset. Max is a large cat nearly 14 years old and knows who he likes and who he doesnt like but when Dan holds Max in his arms, Max is calm and I have never seen a vet handle Max in this way which re assures me that Max is happy during and after any treatment. Dan and his team care go the extra mile for the animals and owners, we are not local to Poole about a 30 minute drive from the practice but we wont go any where else for his treatment and care. Thank you Dan for being so caring to Max and to his fussy Mum - you are so understanding and exceptional in your role of being a Vet - we are lucky to have you as our vet

1st visit for our pet. Pre op assessment. Most pleasant lady vet, sounded very clued up, gentle with pup, happy with her advice. Returning for treatment. Returned for treatment. Happy so far, pet, not so sure, but home recovering. Eating and drinking, sleeping OK. Returning in a couple of days to access progress. Goes well we hope. Vet most competent. Returned, nurse happy with progress. Returning in the New Year, pet appears to be we'll on the way to recovery and the back to her loving, happy little self.

The North Road practice of Afrivet is outstanding. I have been with Afrivet for the last 9 years but this year moved to Walton Lodge and could not be happier with the service. The front of house team are very helpful and the vets are lovely. My cat Willow no longer gets stressed about her twice yearly check ups. Very satisfied customer.

Sadly we had to have our pickachu put to sleep. I cannot explain the Compassion I was shown. I felt stupid bringing a hamster in 10pm a night, I was very emotional this was a family pet we loved him so much! But I rang out of hours, after 9pm and the vet nurse was incredible, kind, understood how we felt and said bring him right in we'll see what we can do. She was very informative, helpful but so I could understand, I had never been here before but the practice was beautiful, very clean, quiet beautiful layout. The vet who put pickachu to sleep was so kind, he explained what would happen and gave me choices helping me to understand and just made the entire process better. Everything was handled very professionally but kind. As this was a family pet I asked for some of his fur to keep, the vet brought out a beautiful keepsake jar for my daughter with a clipping of his fur in, such a beautiful gesture. And something she will cherish For someone who's emotional I cannot recommend this vets enough, for emergencies or anything else in fact. Beautiful practice and beautiful staff what a place! Thank you to medivet ❤️

Our dog bit into an asthma pump on Xmas day and we called the emergency vet who called us immediately. They then arranged an appointment to go to Medivet 24 hr in Poole who were excellent . 8pm on Christmas day the vets saw us almost immediately, we’re so caring and helped our furbaby. Thanks so much guys and thank you for giving up your time on Christmas Day . We can’t thank you enough for looking after us and helping our dog

Incredibly kind and caring staff, we’ve been back and forth to them quite frequently since our cat was diagnosed with a terminal heart condition. They’ve looked after us every bit as they have Bob. Can’t thank them enough, or recommend them highly enough as a practice.

Lynwood Veterinary Group, Wimborne
Station Rd, Wimborne Minster, Wimborne BH21 1RQ, UK | Veterinary Care P: 01202 882101
Rating: 4.7 (175) Price Level:
Lynwood Veterinary Group consists of people who genuinely care for our pets as their own. I have been with Lynwood for at least 20 years and have never experienced anything but the best and most empathetic, compassionate service from any member of staff I have dealt with. I trust them completely!
Rating: 5 / 5
I’ve been bringing my dog and cat to Lynwood vets for two or three years now, and have always been very satisfied. The staff are all friendly and professional, there’s a comfortable waiting area and my animals are both surprisingly relaxed when we visit.
Rating: 5 / 5
Phoned the emergency vet as I was very concerned about my puppy. Lynwood ate the emergency vet and they agreed to see me immediately. My puppy made a miraculous recovery within a few minutes of being with the vet. They were very kind and did not charge me for the visit. Have had dealings with Lynwood over the years. They are excellent. Thank you
Rating: 5 / 5
Let's be honest, no-one likes to go to the vets, but if i had to go to Lynwood every week for the rest of my life, i wouldn't be too upset. Sounds weird but let me explain: The team here are fantastic. The phone is answered promptly, receptionists are polite and will do everything they can to accomodate you. They deal with insurance paperwork quickly and take a lot of stress away from the process. They'll strike up a conversation while you wait but will equally respect your space. The vets and nurses will answer all your questions and be upfront with you about costs associated with your options. They all have a great sense of humour (where appropriate) and take the time to make sure you understand everything. Emily in particular is a delight and i trust her implicitly to do the right thing for my pet. The waiting room has lots of useful information posters and separate waiting areas for cats and dogs if needed and there's always parking. They also house the emergency vet clinic so i know i'm covered no matter what happens.

I just wanted to say how absolutely amazing this practice is! But particularly Nurse Leanne who my spaniel Darla absolutely adores! Darla ended up needing to come in for bandage changes every few days which she wasn’t keen on at first, but after meeting Leanne she went from trying to pull me out the door, to being the wiggliest spaniel ever - excited to see the nurse for her checkups! You made the whole experience great, thank you!

Extremely helpful..... Have a nervous 46kg rottweiler that needs medication and handling with care when visiting vets... The 2 young nurses that dealt with me were amazing........ They made me feel at ease which helped my girl to be at ease they came out to car to give her some sleepy meds then took her into a dark room to drift off. I was updated on her progress, fantastic service
