Chris and his team did an incredible job of repointing our house and repairing/restoring damaged brickwork. We live in a conservation area and had found it hard to find a company we trusted with the work, because most only showed photos of modern houses, or offered repointing but clearly didn't specialise in it (as some of the old repointing jobs on our house showed). We picked Maple after seeing some work they did on a neighbour's house, and we couldn't recommend them more strongly. Totally agree with all the previous positive reviews (knowledgeable, efficient, transparent about costs, really punctual, polite, great communication throughout), and would add that we really appreciated how much care the team took to do everything well, rather than just doing a 'good enough' job. It felt like they cared about getting a finish that would look good, as well as fixing our structural problems - to the extent that they also did some work we hadn't expected, eg on our gutters and drainpipe. Chris also arranged for someone to come and fix a few problems we had with our roof, and after a bad experience with another company we were really happy to have the work done (very quickly and at a really good price, too) by someone he'd worked with and trusted. We will definitely call them again if we need any more work done in future!

Chris and the team at Maple Home Improvements have been brilliant from start to finish. Friendly, reliable and knowledgeable. Chris clearly explained the work required and my options, and kept me informed throughout the process of repairing and re-pointing the front of my house. They've done an excellent job and I would highly recommend them.

We live in a victorian terrace house that had damp in two rooms, this had previously been looked at by a big national company but the damp came back. Chris and his team travelled daily from Birmingham to Cheltenham always arrived on time and worked continuously throughout the day, they explained what would be happening each day and worked with us as we have a business from home. For such a messy job of removing the plaster, repairing and replastering with lime renovation plaster, they left the house as tidy as possible, and cleared each night. They dealt with all the challenges our house threw at them and completed a few little jobs like setting and pointing the coping stones on my garden wall while they were waiting for things to dry, without once wavering from the original quote. This was only done recently so I am awaiting the walls to dry for decorating, but I would have no hesitation in recommending Chris and his team. The after service so far has been excellent with suggestions to further protect the walls. Many thanks Rob

It is obvious that Chris takes great pride in his work and his attention to detail is spot on. We had the front and side repointed, holes filled in the render and a full render repaint. Where the house had been painted in the past, paint had splattered across the bricks, but the team sanded this all off too and did a proper job! Chris and his team did an excellent job bringing life back to a previously neglected property. They really take pride in their work and the house looks completely renewed. Chris kept me updated daily with progress, sharing photos/ videos and calling to update and query decisions that needed to be made. I don’t live locally so this was helpful to be fully informed and still able to oversee the work. He was super helpful with advising, explaining what issues there were as they came up and giving options available to address. As well as doing additional extras and consideration given to the neighbours. I’m really happy with the work completed (including repointing front & back with helibar installation, cleaning brickwork & replacing weathered bricks, roof repair, gable wall painting, PIV installation, bathroom &extractor fan installation) and do think it was worth the money. Everything pre-agreed remained the same - no hidden costs, and many additional bits included in the price. They’re a great team to work with. Chris was knowledgeable, reliable and easy to communicate with. Clearly a lot of expertise, and I would highly recommend him and his team.
