This restaurant was outstanding! The dishes were fresh, the flavors bold, and the portions satisfying. The warm, inviting decor added to the overall charm.

We visited A Place to Taste for breakfast this morning, and what a treat! The entire family was blown away by the delicious food and wonderful service. We ordered a mix of the English breakfast, Bangladeshi breakfast, chicken wings, onion rings, milkshake, freshly pressed orange juice, and the BEST tea we’ve ever had! Everything was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and arrived at our table promptly. The fact that all the food came at the same time, fresh and hot, made the experience even better. The kids absolutely loved their meals, which made us even happier. It’s rare to find a place that caters to both traditional and more exotic tastes with such excellence, and A Place to Taste really nailed it. We’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great breakfast spot in West Bromwich! Can’t wait to come back!

My first visit to the UK, my friends recommended this brunch restaurant. The English breakfast was heavenly freshly made in the morning. The cappuccino authentically Italian in its flavor and aroma. 10/10

Went here following seeing The Food Review Club on YouTube visit. Place certainly lived up to their glowing review of it. The food was hot and fresh, the service was closed to fantastic and the atmosphere was what you would expect for the quiet period on a Friday teatime. Really enjoyed the platter and masala chips and will be going again soon.

Generous portion of very nice food. I had the Soho Grill - love love the fish and the chops a lot! Attentive, friendly and professional service with relaxed atmosphere! Free onsite parking is available.

Saw this reviewed by Food Review Club on YouTube and went on the back of that review when in the area. Inside, the decor is very nice and to high standards. If there is any sports on, you would easily have a great time as there are so many large TV's also. Although it's a Bar and Grill, because the interior is nice, you could easily visit here for various events like date nights, birthdays etc, which you cannot in some other desi grill pubs. I went in late lunchtime and only had the large mixed grill and masala chips. The mixed grill was nice, although the sheek kebabs did not look hand rolled as in other places. Food otherwise was nice. Service was inconsistent. Upon entering, the place was quiet due to the late afternoon time, myself and my wife were the only ones at the bar waiting to order and we went to where the young chap was behind the bar. He seemed to be struggling or trying out a Guinness can dispenser and spent a good few minutes on this, without any kind of acknowledgement or hello. I patiently waited and eventually after a few minutes, he asked what I wanted. This particular chap seemed to have no emotion or grasp of basic greetings. I ordered and the food came which did come out hot and timely and the waiting staff were much more attentive and friendly. Overall, its a nice place and I've given it 5 starts because the owners have obviously made the effort to make it a nice, clean, welcoming place. Maybe just reiterate some basic greetings and service to the young staff to be more welcoming and it will be perfect.

Absolutely outstanding. I have tried a few desi places and this is THE best. Jatty the manager looked after us and everything was spot on. The chilli cheese fries are delicious. The crispy wings are amazing. Honestly the bestest food I've had in ages. Food is delivered promptly and all staff are lovely. The carling dark fruits is a nice drink. The interior of the pub has been refreshed to a very high standard.

Authentic and delicious Nepali food. Of particular mention would be their momos which are outstanding. Staff are very polite and accommodating and even made wai wai for us on special request. The place has a pleasant ambience too. Would definitely return!

First time visiting!! Had a great experience If someone is like me who wonders about parking, there is parking on road and if not behind the restaurant - John street park; something I look for always whilst visiting places.

Came here Thursday as a group of 5. 2 adults, 3 children. Service excellent, great choice on menu, however, they didn't have the crispy chicken wings for starter. No big issue as there was so much to choose from. The food was really good! Most importantly the chicken was really nice in the curries. I'm really fussy with chicken but it was cooked really well and all chicken breast. We had a chicken Jalfrezi, chicken curry (hot), chicken tikka masala, mixed wrap and kids chicken nuggets. Plus a load of sides. Can't fault any of it. Will definitely be returning.

Our third visit here. Food is consistently tasty and freshly cooked. Chef likes to come and check to see if food is to our liking, he clearly takes great pride in his craft. And rightly so, we thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Definitely one of our favourite curry and grill places in the Brom.

Kareoke and Dj every Sunday 3pm till 6pm. Restaurant seating are towards the back, good bar with a nice selection of beer, cider and spirits. Food is delicious every time I've ordered having tried the Crispy Chilli Chios before, which were delicious, this time around I opted for Honey Chilli Chips, Chicken Tikka and Poppadoms with sauces. The chips were a chefs recommendation, they were fantastic, I'm glad he did so. Service is always friendly and that love surely goes into the food. It is very flavourful each time and I cannot resist the temptation to grab another dish when I am here. Thank you very much, really enjoyed.

This place is one of my favorite mix grill places. The food is not too salty as you would think from a mix grill place. Since I first came here in January I have since been here with my husband, friends and even had my Birthday meal here with my family. The food is definitely worth a taste. My favorites are the chili garlic prawns and the lamb chops. The mixed biryani was delicious. I have to say every time iv ordered something different but every taste lovely. It is literally a hidden Gem. If you come in the week they have a 20% discount on the food.

I booked my special birthday party here. The owner would always email me back if i had any requests or queries. All the guests enjoyed the food. The place is clean. The staff were friendly and accomodating. There is a dance space as well. My 5 year old wanted chips as not eat rice and they made them for free. I defintely would recommend to have parties and celebrations.

Everyone loved the food, I didn't even get a container to have it the next day! I really enjoyed having my 30th celebrations with your team and am glad I could work with a fantastic black organisation. Danica has been so understanding with getting back to me with my dozens of questions here and there, and it all helped me feel more at ease at throwing myself something (which I never do), so thank you! I left that night with a full heart and belly, great service!

I had my surprise mums 50th party at Onyx and we couldn’t have been happier when the service, friendly staff and great atmosphere on the night. I hired the 360photo booth which I would highly recommend for short, fun video memories to look back on. The buffet was lovely too, tasty and hot! Thanks Danica and the team 🙌🏾

Lovely evening for our group of four Christmas Dinner. We arrived early but were shown straight to our table. Our meals were all pre booked so within 10 minutes of sitting down our starters were brought out. Which was Lovely. Two had vegetable soup, tasty. One had Patè, very good and one garlic prawn again very good. We had a bottle of wine between us, Pinot Grigio. Our main course soon followed three with turkey and one beef. We all thoroughly enjoyed our choices all plates cleared. We were rather full at this point and asked if our puddings could be held back a while which the staff were more than happy to do. We'd order two crème brûlèe, two choc cake. Those who chose the brûlèe wished they'd gone for cake but we all enjoyed the desserts and nothing was left. A lovely evening in a lovely spot. We will return and I've told my family about it too. I have since been back twice for the afternoon tea. Excellent value.

Good location highly accessible by car, by public transport. Free onsite parking right outside of the restaurant. Very welcoming and caring team throughout our whole stay. Lovely view, super generous high quality afternoon tea served in great tableware and tea sets. I usually take a lot of photos but the food looked so inviting so I forgot. Feel hungry again while writing this feedback. Thank you for the wonderful experience!!

This place really is wonderful whether it be for food, drinks, or my personal favourite, the afternoon tea! The restaurant looks out over the golf course and to be honest, you would never know it was even here it’s so tucked away. The interior is lovely and the staff are very friendly. The menu has ‘set options’ for a set price and afternoon tea is amazing plus it’s only £20 pp, which is the cheapest I have found! Will continue to return and would recommend it to anyone.

Honestly, the food is good. Very good and average priced. To improve the experience though, the owners should think about separating the bar and restaurant areas. The restaurant staff were lovely and the service was great.

Very delicious food, quick service, good options for takeaway. I loved the Salmon Tikka, the others from the group really enjoyed the mix grill. Highly recommended. The only problem is the parking. There is not so much choice to park around.

Food was great! The amount they give you is generous even the starters are ace. Drinks are standard restaurant price. Even gave us 50% of the food as we had booked online! My only complaint would be the heater was right above my head and did make the room very warm. But other than that would definetely reccomend.

We recently celebrated my sister's wedding lunch at Lucarelli West Bromwich, and it was a 10/10 experience! From the planning stages to the day itself, Vinny and the team were incredibly helpful and organised, ensuring everything went smoothly for the bride & groom and thirty guests. Vinny and Tanvir are an absolute credit to the business – they managed the food and drinks service perfectly, keeping everything on track all while making us all feel completely at ease. The service was exceptional and all staff members helping on the day went above and beyond to make the occasion special. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish perfectly prepared and presented beautifully. The portions were generous as well – so there were plenty of full and happy stomachs at the end of the evening. A huge thank you to everyone at Lucarelli for making the day so memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to celebrate such a special occasion. I would highly recommend to all!

I've eaten multiple times at the Queen Inn in West Bromwich, and have had a pleasant experience every single time. I am always seated really quickly whether I have first booked a table or have no reservations at all. The staff are very attentive but not too overly moddycoddling, giving enough time to choose dishes, whilst not leaving you sitting around feeling frustrated. For today's meal I was greedy and opted for 2 mains; the Thai Green Curry (Vegetarian), and the Chicken and Bacon toasted club sandwich. A very good price at around 12 British pounds for both meals!. Both dishes were delicious. I especially enjoyed the sweet potato in the Green Curry, an addition I'll definitely be adding to my own recipe next time. The Curry was not overly spicy but had a nice moderate kick of fresh chilli. The sandwich was very standard but cooked well and all the ingredients fresh. Overall another great meal at the Queen Inn, my favourite local eat for both value and great service. I have also included in my review pictures of the Sunday Roast. I usually opt for the trio of meats. The food is beautiful and delicious for the price, and for only 1 pound extra you can upgrade to unlimited roasties, gravy, and Yorkshire puds (Which I always do by the way). I leave feeling very satisfied and very gluttonous, but often with a smile on my face :). Thank you and a shout out to lovely Lauren, who's been my waitress a few times now, topped me up on tatas and yorkies, and always with a pleasant smile. Much appreciated Lauren. After eating I'd highly recommend a walk around the local Dartmouth Park RSPB to alleviate any guilt and calories. If visiting the Birmingham, or West Bromwich area I'd highly recommend you try this place. Tasty food and really friendly and welcoming staff. A nice escape from the often miserable frowns of West Bromwich town.

Met her for dinner with a friend. My first time eating here. It was quiet, but it was a Monday night. I had two bao buns with chicken and fries. My friend had noodles with prawns. The food came quickly and it was nice and hot. They were doing a good trade in takeaways. Will defo go back for the bao buns, they were lovely.

I loooooved this place . The food was new and different tasty and makes you feel full Hamdullah . The service very polite kind and helpful . The thing i loved most is this place the decoration and the back music they were playing is very comforting and calm . We had tacos 10/10 Cheetos Parmesan 8/10 too much cheese Hot shot chicken 8/10 too much cheese also And chicken burger 7/10 chicken bit dry Cookie dough pistachio tasty too much sugary 8/10 And sodas which I don’t recommend it’s not fizzy at all . Over all we loved this place and absolutely will eat here again , highly recommended

As we passed by we popped in to experience a new restaurant. The ambience and decor was warm and welcoming. We ordered a strawberry & Lime mocktail, Starter - Mac & Cheese Main-king prawn stir fry noodles, half chicken with rice. The quality of the food and portion size didn't disappoint. There were generous amount of king prawns in the stir fry noodles. The chicken was juicy and tender. The rice was full of flavour. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Please note - As we ordered the food the waiter informed us they only accept cash or BACS transfer, no card payment. Also informed the nearest cash point to withdraw cash. We were stunned and were above to leave the place, but the manager agreed to accept card payment. Couldn't believe in this digital age asking for cash in a big restaurant.

Value for money! We were hungry after a long day of travelling and ended up at this delicious restaurant. The food portions were big and worth the price. The steaks were perfectly cooked and had plenty of sides that complemented the dish amazingly. The dynamite prawns were crunchy just the way I like. Flavours are spot on! I was so full couldn’t finish the dish. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Quite busy as well.
