Brilliant local pub, home made food and very nice staff, there Covid measures are great and they can’t do any more it’s down to us. Land lord and Lady are really friendly and very accommodating, there rooms are great value clean and tidy, they have some bigger rooms at the rear which again great value. Worth a stop if going past Sutton bridge.

Alice and Noel are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much. The rooms are spotless and cleaned everyday with fresh towels. The rooms are large with a small kitchenette/dining area and a functional shower room with a spacious walk in shower. The beds are comfy and I have had an excellent nights sleep every night of my stay. The food that Noel cooked each evening was of excellent quality and very generous portion sizes, very well presented and delicious. I was here working locally. I stayed in a travel lodge the week prior and this place smashes that out of the water. The price is very reasonable and you get free WiFi too. I wish I had found this place first. As the work has overrun I will be coming back to the area and I will be staying here again.

I gave a 4 for service. This is even though there is no restaurant here . It is a room only pub . But it does that too a fantastic level. All the ladies I have met behind the bar have friendly fun and give the place a real relaxing homely pub feel. The room is well equipped, fresh tea coffee on tap . Will stay again if in the area . Ps if you buy a takeaway they will supply plates and cutlery in the pub so you can continue to watch the football ect . Give them a visit.

Lovely local proper English pub. They serve some wonderful food at very good prices and superb portions. All the food is home made by a talented chef. Very friendly staff and also the regulars. Things going on every week, karaoke, bbq quiz night etc. I believe they may also have rooms. I love this place and have only been a couple of times. I will definitely be going more often. Thank you guys for making me feel at home. See you soon.
