Andy tutored my daughter Sophie through her Maths GCSE. Initially she was reluctant to have any tuition as she did not favour the subject and had very little confidence in her abilities. Andy was consistently reassuring and patient throughout, building up her skills and knowledge. He guided her through everything perfectly, regularly setting her ‘to task’ at a level suitable for her. Sophie’s Maths teacher saw a marked improvement in her work soon after her lessons began. Ultimately, she gained a really good understanding of Maths and got a GCSE Grade 5, which was the highest mark in the paper she sat. I have no doubt that this was not only down to hard work on her part, but because Andy guided her through it all.
