Dave helped my daughter with her GCSE maths during 2020 going in to 2021. My daughter always looked forward to her weekly sessions - mainly virtual (which worked really well). Sessions were engaging, well-structured and delivered enthusiastically. My daughter is a much more confident mathematician as a result of maths tutoring from Dave. I would not hesitate to highly recommend.

David's support has made a huge difference to our daughters' confidence and success in maths. I have been doing extra tuition in maths with Tutor in Leeds for the last couple of months to prepare me for an exam I will be taking once I emigrate to Canada to study. I hadn't done maths since high school (8 years ago) so I was very nervous coming into the maths lessons at first. My tutor Liam was fantastic, I was instantly put at ease and felt comfortable during the lessons. We started right at the basics and worked up to the really difficult maths working through every method step by step. I can now say with confidence that I feel fully prepared to sit my exam once I fly to Canada. I would highly recommend to anybody who may be struggling with a subject. Liam tutored me in preparation for my A Level English Literature exam. I had limited time until the exam and little knowledge of the texts prior to having a tutor, and Liam gave me great understanding of each text we covered as well how to structure and develop my essays. I signed my daughters up for extra tuition at Lextra a few months ago. Although I haven't seen great improvement in their academics yet, I deeply appreciate the engagement and support the staff have provided far. There's constant monitoring and genuine interest in students so I'm optimistic that the learning and progress will be reflected by the 6th month. My son joined the Lextra family mid October 2022 with his last school result in Grade 6. There was so much hardwork, dedication, commitment from the tutors of Lextra and my son. My son’s confidence improved and from his Practice exams/ GCSE mock results from his school taken in January 2923, he has jumped from a Grade 6 to Grades 8 and 9 in almost all his subjects. Stephen is an exceptional tutor. He has been guiding my son in preparing for the MAT exam, and I honestly can't recommend him highly enough. My daughter was worried about achieving the GCSE grade she wanted so asked for tutoring. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m blown away by the progress she has made in just a few weeks. Steve puts effort into making sure the content of each session is tailored to her by setting homework to check progress and understanding for the next session, he also sends me feedback each week. When my daughter doesn’t understand any of the work she likes the detailed way he explains it without making her feel incapable. We can highly recommend Dr. Stephen Cox as a mathematics tutor. Dr. Cox has tutored our eldest son for several months in the lead up to his recent GCSE's.
