I visited the Holly Bush, this afternoon. I found the atmosphere, service and food excellent and at a reasonable price too. The waitresses were friendly and accommodating too. When I asked for a recommendation, there was no hestation from the waitress, who I asked. I will definitely have a meal at the Holly Bush again and recommend it too. 😀👍🏽😉😀👍🏽😉😀👍🏽😉

Brilliant service, great choice of options for food, very good value. Very welcoming pub with lovely staff. Board games to choose from and a lovely warm fire!

A catch up with friends. 12 of us at down to fine and despite a hiccup with our pre ordered food normality was resumed very quickly with professionalism and a smile. Our waitress for the evening was lovely, attentive and provided service with a joke and a smile. The food was good old fashioned pub grub. We had a main and dessert. My only grumble was that it could have been a few chips bigger, I ran out of chips before I’d finished my fish. Mushy peas too maybe, but garden peas did the job. The pub itself is a bit of a dying breed really, you don’t see many about any more like the Holly Bush. It comes across as a ‘pub’ not a coiffured chain that seem to dominate our towns these days. The staff felt like the business mattered to them, they weren’t just employees. It’s a long time since our last visit, we won’t leave it as long for our next visit. Thank you for a lovely evening.

The service and food really was so good. Our waitress was superb (The young lady, quite tall with long reddish hair) I would describe her as; Focused Engaging Professional Efficient Very friendly Knowledgeable/honest -, an asset to the pub.
