Very nice compact driving range. Good COVID measures and the staff are well on top of cleaning and separation. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff who do their upmost to ensure your questions are answered and your needs are addressed

I went to get custom fitted for some new irons and James was very helpful, sourcing a few different shafts outside of the standard ones the manufacturers put into their standard testing kits and was very patient whilst I made up my mind up, with zero pressure to buy. When I came to make the purchase the price was as good as was available anywhere so an all round excellent service. The range is great too, well maintained, decent mats and new balls and whilst I've not played it the par 3 course always looks very well looked.

Very friendly staff and very welcoming. The course is always well-kept and the greens especially so. Very reasonably priced and ideal for those new to golf or are looking to improve their game.

The course is always in great condition and I was pleasantly surprised how dry it was considering the heavy rain earlier in the week. Called another course I usually play at which was closed due to bad weather so I was expecting this to be very wet and it wasn’t. Greens in particular in great condition and playing nicely. It’s a nice course that’s very well kept, tidy and with one par 4 and eight par 3 holes with a mixture of lengths (some as short as around 110 yards) and hazards it offers a good variety. Shop is well stocked, they’ve got a cafe next to it with seating and prices are very competitive.

Such a beautiful golf course. The event I attended here was a wedding afterparty and it was so beautifully decorated. The staff were so friendly and considerate. The food was extremely classy and delicious. They have a lift to help people with disabilities to get up and down the different levels. They have a bar, dance floor, and amazing dance lights.

The best golf course I've ever played!! Just a fantastic day, I can't wait to go back again. The course is superb!! All the staff at the club are so friendly and helpful, I simply can not fault the place. If you get the chance to play there you will not be disappointed.

Course in great condition with annual maintenance undertaken. Great hospitality in the clubhouse and a chance to enjoy 1st tee action and course views from the terrace

Played the nine hole course. Very good condition for this time of year. Best winter tees I've played on, solid Great breakfast later. You need a vegetarian option though.

Best value driving range i have ever come across. Ball prices are very good, the range is huge and can actually accommodate longer hits (in pretty much any direction). Easy to park, and always a free bay. Quality of the balls is sometimes poor and it isn't the most modern, but can't complain for the price.

Cheap driving range to knock some balls about, don't expect any bells or whistles but you get a mat, some rubber tees, lots of bays to use (just over 20) and some yardage markers out in front of you. Great place to practise and exceptional price especially when you buy in bulk.

Nice driving range, go when its quiet and you won't have any issues. Busiest times are usually Saturdays. It is what it is ... it's a "cheap-and-cheerful" driving range where the balls are relatively cheap and there's plenty of space for you to blast some balls. Price of balls has gone up, but not too much. If you're a regular, pay for a bulk pack of tokens and it's more worth it. Is it the most modern facility you'll ever come across? No. But you know what? For the price (the cheapest in the area), it'll do for some decent practice. And the staff (Jodie, Danny etc.) are superb. The only criticism that makes it a 4 star review, not a 5 star review is that the machine sometimes short changes you on balls. I once got 38 balls (out of 50) - not happy about that. But most of the time, it's accurate. If you're looking for a cheap practice range, this is the spot!

Very nice course! First time we'd played this today and it won't be the last! Course in really good condition, it was pouring down with rain all round but still held up! Credit to the greenkeepers greens were in top condition! Full breakfast after the round, made to feel very welcome and all staff friendly! Good value for money, I'd say it's a course you definitely have to play in the area 👍🏻

A quirky course that will test every aspect of your golf game and legs! Great views from 19th and a fine pint await those who venture here. Staff friendly and attentive.

Wow, what a fantastic course with great views all the way round. Superb variety of holes and some tricky par 3s too, and plenty of wildlife to admire. Bit of up and down but nothing to steep so great exercise too. Will be back again, hopefully when the weather is a little less windy.

Oct 7th 24 Just back from a first visit to this club. Great condition all round. The best greens I've played all season. Unfortunately no bar or food on today.( like most clubs on Monday.) A bit of a long narrow lane up to the club but will definately return

Bolton Balloon Fairies was asked to create a Balloon Wall around our 4 foot LED Numbers and what a gorgeous room they have for hire for functions. It's an upstairs room and is very large holding a couple of hundred people. Car park is spacious and bars are on both floors. Highly recommend 👌

Bolton old links was a really good folf course. Some really deep difficult bunkers well placed. Must avoid at all cost. Greens were absolutely amazing. Some tee shots are blind, but hole map on every tee helps. Course knowledge is definitely an advantage here. Fairways are generous and rough is punishing. A great course overall.

Stunning course with great views across the area. Parts of the course were flooded but the weather had been terrible beforehand (welcome to the North West). The course was really well maintained throughout. The bar area was cozy, reasonably priced and the food was excellent.

I went to the mini golf with my two children aged 6 and 4. They loved it! Amazing course, the girls didn't get bored and played until the end still wanting more! Kept entertained by all of the props around the course and the Australian facts. Definitely returning customers.

Spent a great afternoon here with our daughters and friends. The course is brilliant with such amazing attention to detail and really creative ideas. Waterfalls, a cave and lots of authentic Australian details. So much better than other adventure golf courses I’ve done previously. Friendly staff and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Really good value for money as it took us close to a couple of hours to complete. A fabulous afternoon out for all ages!

We visited the Australian Crazy Golf and had a great time with our 2 boys it took us around a hour to complete the course could have took longer but felt we were being rushed along by a man and 2 very young children who were trying to finish as fast as they could 😕 we loved all the Australian landmarks and would definitely recommend and would visit again 💯

Great practise facility with a real family feel to it. The 9 hole Par 3 course is really well maintained, with very unforgiving rough all year round. There is also a really well kept putting and chipping green. Plus the trackman system helps you keep upto speed with how you are coming along.

We had our wedding in Bolton Golf Club, it was a really great and nice day, I would illustrate in the next points: 1) We had around 100 guests, the place accommodated all the guests. 2)The food was really nice, and very high quality. 3)You will feel so comfy and relaxed as the team is really amazing and co-operative, they make sure that you are enjoying your day, I managed to take a selfie with them and I think there's one member of the team is not into the selfie, we are sending our regards to her. 4)A special thanks to Mat(Mathew), thanks so much for your effort in communication and responding to our questions, you are such an amazing person. 5)Very nice sound system, and mic(in case you want to have speeches. 6)Very nice bar if you want to order anything extra 7) I really recommend if anyone has a birthday party or engagement or wedding or even just gathering, just get in contact with Bolton Golf Club, they will arrange everything for you.

Great course. ....... Really in good condition....... A real gem of a round of golf in the North West of England...... Good food and drinks in the recently refurbished clubhouse.....

As a new member and only played four times I find the course in great condition for February. Great practice facilities and so far very friendly people, can't wait for the warmer days in the coming months and seeing the course at its best.

Absolutely stunning building and surroundings. We recently hired the golf club for a private function, the members all made us feel very welcome and the staff were extremely attentive. The bar and events manager, Brandon made sure everything ran smoothly and was very sensitive and understanding about our needs and wishes his team were all friendly and helpful going above and beyond to make sure everything was just as we needed. Josh was extremely patient and professional when greeting us all with tea and coffee on arrival to the bar staff who handled the bar and serving drinks for a toast to a large group easily, were very friendly. During the evening when the lower part of the building wasn't being used they put children's TV on in a separate room to entertain the smaller ones. The chef also cut up bits of food so that the children could feed the wildlife on site.The food he prepared for our guests was outstanding, plenty of food on the buffet but the attention to specific dietary requirements was again above and beyond expectations. The whole service couldn't be faulted from our initial meeting to look around the venue to going back the next day to collect things their warmth and attention to detail was flawless. Thank you to Brandon and all staff and golf members that we met throughout our booking, for making sure the celebration of our Dad's life was as smooth and as beautiful as it possibly could be.

The term hidden Gem gets used a lot but this is definitely hidden and its definitely a gem. The club has a great setting with a long single track drive from the main road through the course to a stunning clubhouse that has a moat with Black Swans on it. The staff were fantastically helpful and friendly. The course starts with a really tough 200+ yard par 3 (play for the front edge wherever the pin is). The course is a really enjoyable layout, not a tough walk or overly long and it was in very good condition.

A great course set in beautiful surroundings. Has lovely outdoor sheltered structure too for gathering to sit with food & drink in summer. Was nice to see many ladies there too, would say it was at least 50/50 with male & female golfers at various ages. Came across squirrels playing there too! Not golf obviously 🤣

Following my mum's funeral on Wednesday we came to Leyland Golf Club for food and refreshments. Jill and staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were so kind and considerate. We had a hot and cold buffet which was very nice. We had 3 people who are gluten intolerant and they had gammon dinners which I'm told were very good too. Had our Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration at Leyland Golf Club yesterday. Thanks so much to Eddie and Jill for a wonderful afternoon.
