Vu is a special company. It’s not often that you work with a contractor who is so approachable, friendly and professional as well as being absolutely spot on with their workmanship. They really care about our project and working with them has been an absolute delight from start to finish.

Vu have transformed our garden. Ralph and his team have always been very helpful and willing to deal with any issues that arose as the work went along. Nothing has been too much trouble for them, and our site is not the easiest, with steps up a relatively steep slope to navigate. The standard of work has been excellent and we are delighted with the results, added to which they have been a delight to work with. We are happy to recommend them.

Vu designed and landscaped my garden recently which was basically just turf at the start. I am delighted with the design and outcome and love to watch my beautiful plants taking root and growing in what now looks like an established garden, after only a short time. There have been many compliments and viewings from my neighbours. requesting the contact details of Vu. I would single out Filip, who was responsible for the design and planting and who was very happy and willing to sort out any questions that arose. The team working on the garden were very polite and hard working in all weathers and I would highly recommend Vu to anyone thinking of building a new garden or making changes to an existing one.

Project: Suburban front garden, driveway and passage to the back garden. Property is on a gentle slope, and the garden slopes towards the house. The team at VU clearly take tremendous pride in their work and I can honestly say that we've enjoyed the experience of having them on site. Here's my impression: - understanding the brief - proposing the use of new materials - executing the work with precision - going the extra mile (in our case, some 160+ miles round trip to find and collect extra block pavers). Filip shares my aesthetic so I was happy to leave the design decisions in his capable hands. Ralph, with over 30 years of experience in the business, focuses on the important details and uses his ingenuity to solve technical problems. Clive, like others in the team, is uncompromising in his attention to detail and works with precision. On day 7, when I noticed the various levelling instruments and jumbo folding squares, I could only rejoice, as I loathe tradespeople who work 'by eye' - unless they are artists! Consequently, I was able to relax and concentrate on my own work, confident that Team VU would surpass my expectations. We've received lots of compliments from passers-by about our new front garden, with a few people remarking on the attention to detail. Our front garden is testament to VU's hard work and professionalism. We certainly have no hesitation in recommending them.

The new water features are so stunning they might as well come with mood lighting and a Barry White soundtrack. And that patio? It’s practically begging for late-night cocktails and a bit of barefoot dancing under the stars. Mark, Tom, and the rest of the gang weren’t just landscapers—they were garden whisperers. Always cheerful, always charming, and honestly, they’ve got hands so skilled it’s no wonder my garden looks this good. These are the best! Greenacre Landscapes have now done three patios and steps down to the garden for us in separate properties, and we would never consider going with anyone else! They are professional, friendly, and ready to realise your vision, with minimal fuss and mess. I particularly like their detailed brickwork, all in all it looks just great when it’s finished, just exactly what I asked for. Would highly recommend.

We have used Greenacre for nearly 2 decades. Their work as excellent, elegant durable; the artisans themselves friendly, humorous and personable. Indeed, they recently rescued us by rebuilding and fixing a deeply unsatisfactory piece of work by another contractor local to our new house. How foolish did we feel for not selecting Greenacre in the first place?

Always arrived on time, rain or shine and didn’t mind entertaining the dogs when they were desperate to see what was going on! These guys are fantastic! Previously, several companies had turned up to quote & not one of them offered a price or was contactable afterwards. By chance , I was recommended to Lee, from then on nothing was a problem and all the worry was taken away from us. The price was reasonable, Lee had some really good suggestions and ask questions about what we wanted. I can't thank Lee, Harley and Sam enough for all their hard work. Working in all weather's to get the garden finished. They were polite and respectful of our home, taking off their shoes when coming in, which we greatly appreciated.

I spent a lot of time having the work I wanted to carry out being priced making sure it would be completed to the vision I had in my head, I also wanted to meet who would be doing the garden as I travel for work so had to feel comfortable with the workmen being in my home with my partner and 1 year old son. Lee was not the cheapest quote we obtained but was the best not only on personability, nothing was too much and if he thought something would not look right he would try and offer an alternative which worked out amazingly. Lee replaced the sleeper wall and created a new step as we had the ramp removed to create more floor space, he suggested we add a small raised area where the back gate is located so the drop from the driveway into the garden was not so deep, we agreed and it looks great. All other changes you can clearly see from the before and after shots. Apart from the work Lee carried out, he struck up a bond with my 1 year old son over the time he spent with us and often let him sit and watch what Lee was doing, this was the icing on the cake for what in our eyes is the perfect transformation of our garden. I will wholeheartedly recommend Lee to anyone who enquires, price, manner & workmanship are 10/10 for us. You truly get what you pay for with Lee, do not hesitate to use his talents in your landscaping endeavours.

We're really pleased with Lee's hard work in landscaping our garden. He was very flexible and patient with us as we made a few tweaks to the design as we went along, and he used his experience to make some great recommendations along the way. The weather was very unkind and reduced the site to a bit of a swamp at times, so the project took longer than expected - but Lee's communication was great throughout so we always knew what was happening and when work was likely to resume. We're thrilled with the end result and are looking forward to enjoying the space for years to come!

I honestly can’t recommend benchmark landscaping enough! I reached out to Lee when I recently had my garden renovation finished and I wasn’t happy with the sleeper steps. The steps weren’t even and the bottom step was steep. Lee & Harley worked hard on the steps, I am so pleased. I can’t thank them both enough. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
