Ash and the boys worked flat out on what was a challenging job for them, they turned up every day they were supposed to and the workmanship, organisation and general cleanliness/tidiness was exceptional! AJ Sparks recently repaired a hazardous drain in the car park at The Miramar care home. Their team responded promptly, addressing the issue quickly and professionally. The repair was thorough, and the drain is now not only safe but better than before. We were impressed with the quality of work and their attention to detail. I highly recommend AJ Sparks for their efficient service and professionalism.

I can't recommend AJ services enough. My partners parents live in Margate and we live in London and unfortunately the parents are unable to look after the garden and it had been neglected for a number of years. It was quite overwhelming to look at and we didn't know what to do or how much it would cost. When I contacted AJ, I felt we were in safe hands. We did a walk through of the garden and I felt very confident of the work he was doing and within our budget. They acted fast and after a day's work the place was looking fantastic. It really gave us peace of mind. We will always use them now for top ups and more needs to be done. We are so relieved we can trust these guys to carry out excellent work when he live a few hours away. I even contacted AJ services since the big clear out and they did a great top up and but down some grass seed. Really looking forward to seeing my in laws enjoy their beautiful garden again. We had a porcelain tile semi circle laid as well as a path and a rear paved lounging area. We also had new turf laid. Ashley was super professional from the beginning and was very efficient with initial quotes and suggestions for our ideas. We had an awful bumpy lawn and we now have an amazing garden that we can't wait to enjoy when the weather turns. Our little girl who is 4 was finally able to ride her bike on the new path and she was so happy! All of Ashley's team were super friendly and excellent at their jobs. They were always on time and very respectful and tidy.

We had BM groundwork’s recommended to us through a neighbour that had worked with this company on a project or there own. After meeting with Jamie and ash and going through the project we wanted doing for a time and looking through there portfolio. We asked for a price to carry out our project. Jamie and Ashley made it very easy and comfortable when talking about price and cost. The men that worked on the project was very courteous and well mannered. We highly recommend Haywood Landscapes from start to finish a wonderful, friendly, professional company to deal with in every aspect. Andy’s knowledge and skill turned our initial basic ideas into a design. His team then carried out the work which was extremely well planned and executed with accuracy and perfection. The whole time we were kept informed, and made sure we were happy. Everything was left as tidy as possible at the end of each day and the whole time they were very considerate to our neighbours.

Our garden was an overgrown mess ever since we moved in with low quality soil and rubbish and rubble left over from the original house build and to our shame several years of neglect. Andy and team drew up a lovely low maintenance design to let us keep control but still get us some greenery and colour. Improved the soil, removed the rubbish paving laid by the developer and replaced with new patio and built out the raised beds and planted out borders. Quoted 3 weeks to carry out the work, but was completed to an excellent standard in 2 and to our budget. Very much looking forward to seeing it start to bloom in the spring and summer and such a relief to no longer have a horrendous eyesore staring at us through the windows. Excellent attention to detail and personal service. Thoroughly recommend.

We were looking around for an all in one solution to our landscaping needs. The design element was very important to us as we only had a vague idea of what we wanted in our minds. Andy and the team compiled our thoughts, essentials and desirables and created a design we loved from day 1. When it came to the build, we didn't have to wait long for a team to be available. They did a great job and neighbours had no complaints about their level of courtesy. Took about 6 weeks working business days to finish the job. A significant part of the job was excavating clay. All in we were extremely happy with the attention to detail and final outcome. The only issue we had was our pergola was delivered late by a one man team from a 3rd party, due to having a puncture. Given underlying medical problems I was unable to effectively assist with the delivery.

Removed a tree from our garden today. Really happy with the way the work was carried out, and how the area was cleaned up afterwards. Really polite and friendly. Tom and his partner did a terrific job. Would highly recommend them. Very good price as well.

We had our garden done by Alf and the team back in February and couldn’t recommend enough. The job was a full on re-landscaping of every inch to replace it with a new split-level patio with aco drain, new turf, fence, and planting border, along with a tree removal. Our garden is very small and North-facing, so it was always difficult for us to see the potential. However, Alf is full of great ideas and advice and consulted with us closely to agree on a design that maximises the space’s full potential. The garden has gone from just a tiny, neglected spot of land to a highly functional space for entertaining, with a larger patio area in the shade of the house (perfect for getting some respite from the heat when dining), and a smaller raised patio at the sunny end for lounging and catching some rays! I’ve only just got around to writing a review but hopefully the delay only makes it more credible as we are now several months on and have actually had the opportunity to put the garden to good use, and it 100% meets expectations. Many downpours have tested, but most definitely not defeated, the drainage system put in place which is highly effective. Everything else remains as perfect as the day it was put in. We know this wasn’t an easy job… Firstly, we have no direct access to our garden. Fortunately, we have very kind neighbours who were happy for the team to come through their garden and around the side of their house. Other landscapers were not keen to take the job on but Alf was more keen to find solutions and make it work, rather than finding excuses not to. And, I’m happy to report that the neighbours were very satisfied with how everything was cleaned up and put back in place for them afterwards. Secondly, the weather was awful… a far wetter than usual February. I’ve no doubt this made things more difficult but the team kept going. Of course, February also brings short days but Alf was often found completing work well after the sun had set, where it was practicable to do so. To summarise, if you’re looking for a knowledgable, experienced, and friendly landscape professional, who treats your property (and neighbouring properties) with absolute respect, and who has the dedication to finish the job to an exceptional standard, even in challenging conditions, then I would 100% recommend Alf and Arum Landscapes. I hope people find this review helpful - I’ve included some before and after pics to show the transformation. I did the planting so please don’t judge anyone else for that if I’ve done a bad job!!

Alf arranged to repoint our patio earlier than originally planned, which was great. They worked so well together and did an excellent job. It looks so much better and I would highly recommend Arum Landscapes. They are delightful, hard-working and very helpful.

Arum landscaping replaced our old and rotten raised beds and shingle with block and rendered beds as picture and repaved surrounding area. We were delighted with the outcome it looks very stylish. The project was well managed and ran to time and cost . The team , ably fronted by Dan , were excellent. Polite, tidy and nothing was too much trouble.
