Joined the dentists last week and yesterday had my first appointment. The dentist I saw was Dr Arpad Simon, he was brilliant. Explains everything puts you at ease. I had also cracked a tooth so after chatting to him on the options decided I would have the tooth removed. Never felt a thing to be honest. I’m writing this review a day after the visit and ye my mouth feels sore but really happy with the visit. I’m booked in for a scale and polish in 3 months and don’t dread a visit to the dentist anymore.

After having a bad experience at dentist in Clowne of extremely painful treatment and excessive costs, I was a bit apprehensive of where to go for my dental treatment. I am so thankful that I chose this practice, as after dealt with in a caring friendly manner and my pain free treatment today with Dr Arpad Simon who was fantastic at explaining my diagnosis, xrays and gave a thorough explanation of the next steps and a plan of treatment. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for thoughtful, quality dental care. Absolutely 5 Stars! 👍🏻

Jonathan Ward fitted veneers and 3 platinum crowns for my wife nearly 40 years ago. He fissure sealed our children’s teeth- 30 years on, no fillings. Jonathan Morrell fitted my 3 bridges and gold pinned a tooth over 30 years ago. All still in place and good! Sadly, no longer our dentists as we moved to Colchester 28 years ago when RP Staveley Chemicals shut my Plant down and we have not found a dentist to equal them. Many thanks, John and Nasrin Leslie.

Fab experience this morning.....we've been on waiting lists elsewhere so my 2 young children hadn't yet seen a dentist. The dentist that saw us this morning was so kind and helped to put the children at ease. Explained everything in a really kid friendly way and was so patient with them. Made a nervous/anxious child very happy and excited to come back in 6 months!!!! Lovely staff in general too ☺️

I attend for clean and polish. Very thorough and pleasant experience which I found reassuring as I can ask dental related questions. This practice looks after my implants too. If I don't need much work, the bill is lower, always a bonus.

I visited on Tuesday 1st April to see Mark. I was early but Mark saw me straight away. I spoke to him about the difficulties I was experiencing with my dentures and he was able to point me in the right direction as to what to do until I see him for a realignment in June.

Amazing Dental Practice. I haven't been to a dentist for years which means my teeth were very bad. But the Aspire team was very friendly and very respectful, I would definitely recommend this place.

Hi,I visited Aspire Dental for the first time on 28th January. I was greeted at the door with a warm welcome. I was introduced to Mark who my free consultation was with.We had a chat and went from the beginning of my long going treatment over 10 years and was so unhappy all this time.When I came out it was the first time I felt there was still hope for me.I am looking forward to starting my journey with Mark.Such a lovely man and had the time to listen to me and I was not rushed.I was there over a hour.Thankyou so much xxxxx

Over the last year of intensive treatment I have been extremely well looked after by all of the staff at Springmount. At every visit I was made to feel relaxed, and well cared for. At no time was I made to think I was 'just another' patient, but more like a member of the 'Springmount family'. The level of clinical care was exceptional and this continued into the after care. To be fair treatment isn't cheap - but somethings are well worth paying that little bit extra for. Thank you for making me smile again!

I can’t recommend Springmount Dental & Aesthetics highly enough. All of the team are so friendly and they go above and beyond to put you at ease if you’re feeling worried about any aspect of your dental treatment. I had my second hygiene appointment with them yesterday since joining their membership and Alicia and Georgie were brilliant, making me feel comfortable throughout and explaining my ongoing treatment clearly. Joining the membership is worth every penny — you won’t regret it.

I am an extremely nervous patient having had bad experiences in the past. My experience at Springmount (Matlock) has been brilliant. My concerns are listened to and respected and treatment is delivered at a pace I can cope with. I am much less anxious about my visits now and have, in fact, opted for elective treatment (whitening and composite). That’s massive progress for me! I can highly recommend Springmount to anyone - especially if you are anxious, like me! 😊

Today I attended my final implant appointment for two teeth. The journey has taken a year but I cannot begin to tell you how absolutely over the moon I am with the final result. Thank you so so much to Malcolm, who is so calm and reassuring and also to all his assistants who have been with me every step of the way, your patience and kindness have made this experience a very positive and supported one. I have neglected my teeth for many years through not visiting dentist’s regularly and as a consequence I have had intensive treatment for 15 months. I am on a plan and my treatment is ongoing but I know I am in safe hands. Thank you to Jenny whose chats calm me while I wait. Sam and her associates for everything they are doing and giving me guidance in the care of my teeth, and Sinead for arranging everything. Today I got my smile back and I am so pleased I chose Springmount. I really cannot recommend them enough, thank you everyone and see you soon 😉.

I cannot speak highly enough of Ferndale dental practice. From the moment you arrive all the staff are friendly, courteous and very professional. The reception staff and dental nurses are always polite and welcoming and although I am not a nervous patient, I would imagine they are experts at putting the anxious person at ease. My dentist , Simon, is brilliant at discussing and explaining my treatment and is very respectful of my views as well. Also he is a thoroughly nice person which is always an added bonus. The environment is clean and inviting and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my dentistry.

I've been Disabled from birth & have lived in Chesterfield nearly all of my 61 years. My walking has become more difficult of late & I had surgery on my spine last year. All I've ever known is that this world is designed by & for people who can get around under the power of their 2 legs. I'm finding that the signals to my muscles have all but stopped due to a narrowing of my Spinal Cord & my legs no longer work as they did (I usually use elbow CRUTCHES BTW). The dental practice I have used for the last few years is based in a building built before Building Regs included access for people with disabilities. Outside, is a tall step before you get to the door. There are two grab rails on the wall. I noticed that they have a ramp to help with access into the building, never realising that one day I'd need it. Today, I now need it. I need help! I just wanted to give a shout-out to Ferndale House Dental Practice as by doing what they've done, it's saying: "Can we help?" They are very good at what they do and value their patients who are customers too. So if you are a business owner or are involved in running one, please don't forget that your customers choose to put their money your way for a reason. Removing the barriers to accessing your goods & services says that you value all customers, not just those that can walk without difficulty. I want to be part of this world too. I'm so glad that Ferndale House Dental Practice allows me to receive the excellent services they provide. They literally put a smile on my face! Well done to all concerned!

I have been with Ferndale House as my dentists for over 15 years and they have always been kind and explained everything that is happening. Leo and all his staff are wonderful, calm and patient. The one time I had an emergency they were so good at getting me in, seen and treated quickly. I would definitely recommend Ferndale, for both routine and cosmetic treatments.

We have been patients at Ferndale House since 2003. My Husband is a very nervous patient, but has always felt comfortable with all the staff. Last week he had to have a large back tooth extracted. This was done by Ghazala, who was amazing. He was totally reassured by her, and was (almost) able to relax. The extraction was straight forward, and he has had no bleeding/pain post surgery. Ghazala saw him the week before and spent a long time going through everything with him. On the day she reassured him all the time. I can heartily recommend Ferndale House, Leo and all his colleagues.

Could not give them any less than 5 stars as the service they have provided me over the last 4 years has been incredible. The staff always go out of their way to make sure you are treated as one of their family and going above and beyond in most cases. Extremely professional and caring. Sometimes you have to wait a while to get through on the phone but the reason being that the receptionist is getting all relevant information from those callers in front of you (and putting into their system) in order to get your wishes sorted or direct you to the correct treatment - patience is all that is required . Well done all.

Excellent service every single time. I went to the dental hygienist today. I suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia and always worry about this appointment in case it sets off an “episode”. Not once have they ever hurt me and have taken every step to make sure this doesn’t happen. I have all the confidence in them and am so thankful for their professionalism and support.

Had a very positive experience at the hygienist today. Maegan was very kind and gentle. I have a fear of going to the dentist but Maegan was considerate, giving me positive reassurance making my time there so much better than I had thought it would be. Delighted with the results too. I had an extraction at this practice, where I was sedated and numbed before the procedure. I was told previously by many different practices that they couldn’t do it due to the fact it was so complex. These guys were my last hope (unless I waited over a year for the hospital to fit me in) these guys immediately told me they could do it, how it would happen and gave me a date straight away. The date never changed and I was never pushed back (which is unheard of with my dental journey). I was also given plenty of reminders by them so I couldn’t forget about the appointment. When the day arrived I was extremely anxious however, as soon as I arrived I was calmed down and given peace of mind. The procedure was quick, painless and due to the sedation I didn’t even realise it was happening. I was then given an area to recover in post procedure and given the aftercare instructions which were easily understandable and reassured that if I had any concerns or worries I could contact them and they would help. I honestly couldn’t thank them enough!!

Outstanding - Today I went in to the dental practice very anxious about having my molar tooth taken out. I had requested sedation for my extraction - I don’t even remember it coming out certainly the way forward if you are extremely anxious like myself. The communication, respect and care demonstrated by Hannah and her team is truly outstanding thank you for your care & patience today. 😊

Finally found a dentist practice where all the staff care enough to treat you with kindness and consideration. In particular Rachel, a dental nurse, made sure I was confident and comfortable with every step of my treatment. Every nervous or struggling dental patient needs a Rachel. Super lovely practice, helped me get over my fear of the dentist. As some one on the spectrum I was always made to feel comfortable and understood. Only reason I'm leaving is due to switching to a nhs practice, although they do accept here I understand there is a waitlist.

After almost 60 years of struggling with Dentist and dental procedures, I’ve finally found an outstanding practice and an incredible dentist. I recently moved to the BUPA dental practice at holme hall and what a fantastic decision that was. Right from the off, the ease of talking to the receptionists, the booking process, the personal care from everyone and then I was introduced to Christos, well what an outstanding young man he was. The best dental surgeon ever. I’ve just had a route canal treatment and I’ve had just the best experience possible. I can’t recommend this entire team enough. My view on the dentist chair has changed forever. Thank you.

My whole family moved to this practice following the closure of our previous local BUPA practice and particularly to follow the lovely dentist we had, very luckily on an NHS basis still. Although it's more of a trek it's worth it for the friendly welcome, gleaming practice and the continued level of care. Just hope it continues to be available.

Initially went to this dentist as I'd broken my front tooth & my NHS dentist had removed me from their list for not attending enough times!! 🤬 I arrived for my emergency dental appointment at Saltergate Dental with both my infant granddaughter in her pram & my 91 year old mum, not realising the surgery was upstairs! This was no problem as members of staff immediately helped me to get both of them upstairs (no mean feat!) and it seemed nothing was too much trouble. I had been booked in for a check up appointment (required before any work can be carried out) but my new dentist managed to squeeze in the repair to my front tooth in the same appointment. My dentist (Ayesha Chowdhury) made an amazing job of it & I am absolutely delighted! I have since been back for a deep clean appointment due to some gum disease & was again delighted with the considerate, professional service I received. Yes, I am paying for this treatment as opposed to it being NHS but to be honest, it hasn't been that much more than the NHS charges I was paying before. I would thoroughly recommend this practice.

HAD TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT AND REARRANGE DUE TO 30 MIN LATE OVERDUE. HOWEVER I CAME BACK TODAY , AND HAD TO ASK FOR A SAFE SPACE, DUE TO MY DISABILITIES. THE RECEPTIONIST SAID, THAT SAFE SPACES ARE NOT ALWAYS AVAILABLE. WHICH MAKES ME FEEL SAD AND DISAPPOINTED. AS THERE ARE MANY HEALTH CONDITIONS AND DISABILITIES, (NOT JUST MINE), THAT REQUIRE A QUIET AREA . SINCE THE NEW PREMISES ARE MUCH LARGER THAN THE OLD SITE, I AM SURE MYDENTIST COULD PROVIDE A PERMANENT SAFE ROOM FOR VUNERABLE PATIENTS, AND THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. DISABLED PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE MADE TO FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE IN ASKING FOR THE AFORE MENTIONED. THE ROOM WE WENT INTO WAS OBVIOUSLY SAVED FOR PRIVATE PATIENT OTHODONTIC AND COSMETIC CONSULTANCY. WHICH SHOULD *NOT* TAKE PRESIDENCE OVER THOSE WITH SPECIFIC NEEDS. PERHAPS THIS PRACTICE COULD HAVE A PRIORITY REGISTER. SO EXISTING PATIENTS WOULD AUTOMATICALLY BE DIRECTED THERE. HOWEVER JUSTIN GALE IS A BRILLIANT DENTIST, AND GREAT AT PUTTING NERVOUS PATIENTS AT EASE.🙂

I've been in this dentistry for 2 years by the NHS. To get an appointment, just call and make an appointment for a convenient day and time for you. I didn't have to wait long. I'm happy. I treated my teeth here several times, and today I was on a preventive examination. Also here you can get the necessary advice in particular from a doctor who speaks English and also in Russian (it's very convenient for me since I'm from Ukraine and I'm really more comfortable communicating on any topic of dental problems in Russian). Thank you very much for your attention and constant support.

I recently had a tooth extraction, and I can't express how relieved I am! I've been dealing with issues for two years, and my previous dentist didn't provide the help I needed. Miguel and Bryony was professional, caring, and made the process as comfortable as possible. I finally feel like I'm on the road to recovery. Highly recommend! So so happy!

I hadn't been to a dentist for 20 years and had a real fear of them. I was in tears before entering the treatment room, but Lisa was amazing with me, explained everything and took any treatment really slowly. I can't recommend this practice enough. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming.

This is a fantastic dental practice and I wouldn't go anywhere else! All staff at the practice are always friendly and professional. There have been two occasions when I needed to be seen urgently and they were very accommodating fitting me in almost immediately.
