Always been very nervous of dentist just me being me! But first time coming to My dentist and I have had my treatment and after care done but Jeevan and Lucy have always been with me and really looked after me Thankyou for your service

Initially went to this dentist as I'd broken my front tooth & my NHS dentist had removed me from their list for not attending enough times!! 🤬 I arrived for my emergency dental appointment at Saltergate Dental with both my infant granddaughter in her pram & my 91 year old mum, not realising the surgery was upstairs! This was no problem as members of staff immediately helped me to get both of them upstairs (no mean feat!) and it seemed nothing was too much trouble. I had been booked in for a check up appointment (required before any work can be carried out) but my new dentist managed to squeeze in the repair to my front tooth in the same appointment. My dentist (Ayesha Chowdhury) made an amazing job of it & I am absolutely delighted! I have since been back for a deep clean appointment due to some gum disease & was again delighted with the considerate, professional service I received. Yes, I am paying for this treatment as opposed to it being NHS but to be honest, it hasn't been that much more than the NHS charges I was paying before. I would thoroughly recommend this practice.

I have been with the practice, Middleton and Gale, then on retirement of Mr.Middleton, with Justin Gale, with whom I have complete faith when needing different dental treatments with him. My experience has encouraged my adult family to register with Saltergate practice too.

HAD TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT AND REARRANGE DUE TO 30 MIN LATE OVERDUE. HOWEVER I CAME BACK TODAY , AND HAD TO ASK FOR A SAFE SPACE, DUE TO MY DISABILITIES. THE RECEPTIONIST SAID, THAT SAFE SPACES ARE NOT ALWAYS AVAILABLE. WHICH MAKES ME FEEL SAD AND DISAPPOINTED. AS THERE ARE MANY HEALTH CONDITIONS AND DISABILITIES, (NOT JUST MINE), THAT REQUIRE A QUIET AREA . SINCE THE NEW PREMISES ARE MUCH LARGER THAN THE OLD SITE, I AM SURE MYDENTIST COULD PROVIDE A PERMANENT SAFE ROOM FOR VUNERABLE PATIENTS, AND THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. DISABLED PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE MADE TO FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE IN ASKING FOR THE AFORE MENTIONED. THE ROOM WE WENT INTO WAS OBVIOUSLY SAVED FOR PRIVATE PATIENT OTHODONTIC AND COSMETIC CONSULTANCY. WHICH SHOULD *NOT* TAKE PRESIDENCE OVER THOSE WITH SPECIFIC NEEDS. PERHAPS THIS PRACTICE COULD HAVE A PRIORITY REGISTER. SO EXISTING PATIENTS WOULD AUTOMATICALLY BE DIRECTED THERE. HOWEVER JUSTIN GALE IS A BRILLIANT DENTIST, AND GREAT AT PUTTING NERVOUS PATIENTS AT EASE.🙂
