Enjoyed a great meal at Simla with a colleague. We had the Jalfrezi and the Lamb shank, both were great. The tandoori platter as a started could have been a bit spicier.
Honestly the best Bhaji I've ever had, and the rest of the food was delicious. Staff friendly and accommodating. Only found last minute that it wasn't licensed but shop over the road provided and the evening was great 👍🏻
Simla restaurant is decent, and given its location it is good. The cuisine leans more towards Bangladeshi flavors. The biggest downside for me was the excessive use of oil—it felt like I was drinking cooked oil rather than enjoying a nice vegetable curry.
Such a great place for so many different people, families, couples, friends, first dates, such a beautiful atmosphere & the food is incredible, the waiters are so kind & happy to assist you, definitely recommend
